Enjoy today with new wonders

Today’s project features a card in an envelope and I am sharing for Kylie Bertucci’s International Blog Highlights.   I started by making an envelope using the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper into an envelope.  I used the Stitched Nested label dies to cut the opening at the top and also for the sentiment labels in basic black and petal pink.  The little fairy comes from the host set called New Wonders. She is colored using my Stampin’ blends markers.  I used rococo rose, blackberry bliss, gray granite, so saffron and crumb cake.  For her wings, I used clear Wink of Stella.  I fussy cut her out and added her to my sentiment panel.

For the card inside, I used a base of basic black with a layer of petal pink cardstock.  To this I added a smaller panel of whisper white.  I stamped my sentiment which is also from New Wonders.  This card has a lot of fussy cutting to give it the dimension I was going for.  The flowers from this card are from free as a bird and the leaves are from New Wonders.  All of the images were colored with my blends markers.  For this little fairy I used purple posey and highland heather.  The leaves are colored in old olive.
A lot of time went into this card, but I think it was worth it in the end as I love how it turned out.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my post today and that I’ve inspired you to make and send a card of encouragement to someone you know.  Thank you for taking time from your busy day to stop by my blog.  Should you wish to purchase any of the items I’ve used today, please click on the shopping cart it will take you directly to my online store.  Until next time, make it a great day and happy stamping.

Promotion congratulations welcome to the team

One of my former coworkers recently received a job promotion.  I’m so proud of him and I had just received the new stamp set Welcome To The Team.  The idea for this card just popped into my head and came together better than I imagined.  Wahoo!  I always love it when that happens. This card features several new products and one of the 2019-2021 In colors.  I started with a standard A2 card base of Night of Navy.  To this I added a piece of designer series paper from the 2019-2021 In color 6x6 stack in Seaside Spray.  this piece is cut at 4" x 5 1/4".  The frame is part of the Heirloom Frames Dies and 3D embossing folders (152325).  This particular set is different from any embossing folders we've offered before.  It comes with two 3D embossing folders, the rectangle shown below and an oval, as well as dies to cut both the rectangle and oval frames.  In order to obtain the effect you see on the card below, you first cut your card stock with the die using a die cutting machine (I use a Big Shot).  After die cutting the shape, you then run it through the machine again, but this time using the die cut inside the matching embossing folder.  So cool right!  I'm loving these frames.  They have so many possibilities.  Come back for a view of the cards I created with the ovals.  I'll be posting those soon.

After getting my frame ready, I measured the inside piece that was die cut from the center of the frame and added 1/8" to the measurement just to ensure you didn't see the background paper through the frame.  That piece was cut at 1 7/8" x 2 7/8" out of whisper white cardstock.  I then stamped the sentiment and office chair from the Welcome To The Team stamp set in Memento tuxedo black ink and colored the image with my Stampin' Blends markers.  I used the night of navy combo, dark smokey slate and light gray granite as my colors.  I love how this came together and looks amazing.  I know my friend will be ecstatic to receive it.

Thanks for taking time from your busy day to stop by my blog today.  I hope I've inspired you to share some creativity with a handmade card.  If you live in the USA and would like to order any of the products I've used today, please click on the shopping cart.  It will take you directly to my online store.  Please leave a comment, I would love to hear from you and always appreciate hearing your thoughts.  Until next time, make it a great day and happy stamping!

Over the Moon Udderly fantastic

Today’s card uses one of my favorite sets from the annual catalog (I have quite a few!)  The set is called Over The Moon (149331).  For this card I started with a basic black card base cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored and folded in half at 4 1/4".  I took a piece of whisper white cardstock cut at 4" by 5 1/4" and ink blended with balmy blue and granny apple green ink.  I used makeup brushes I purchased from Amazon to achieve the effect.  I stamped the grass clumps in granny apple green ink, then stamped my remaining images in Momento tuxedo black ink.  My little cow was stamped on a scrap piece of whisper white, stamped and colored with Stampin' Blends markers, then fussy cut and added to the card with dimensionals.  Blends markers I used were dark lovely lipstick, light basic black, petal pink combo, dark smokey slate, light so saffron, colorless blender, dark soft suede and dark mango melody.

For the inside of my card, I added more images from the same stamp set.  I inked the moon in so saffron ink, then colored with the blends markers.  I just love how this turned out.  I planned to put this in my husband's lunch pail just before he heads out for work, but as our 39th wedding anniversary is right around the corner, I might use it for that instead.

I hoped you've been inspired today.  If you are in the USA and would like to order to any products I've used (or anything else you might fancy), please click on the shopping cart.  I'd love to earn your business.  Until next time, make it a great day and happy stamping!

Just a note black magic card

Sorry I’ve been a little lax in posting.  Life has been very busy with the grandkids on summer break.
Today’s project is one I created for a friend who is going through some pretty tough times dealing with a horrible case of breast cancer.  Just a little note to brighten her day.  It’s made using the black magic technique but a little more modern I guess you’d say.  I was inspired by a video I watched from Ruth Trice of Artful Inkin’. I first stamped on rich razzleberry cardstock sized at 5” x 3 3/4” my largest images in Versamark ink.  The stamp sets I used are Beautiful Bouquet, Floral Essence, Colorful Seasons, Flourishing Phrases (sentiment) and First Frost.  You can use any floral sets you have on hand to create this look simply by picking out a a couple of large images and filling in with smaller ones.  I then added white embossing powder.  I then, carefully, added my medium images being sure not to stamp over any embossing powder.  I heat set the embossing powder with my heat tool.  Finally I finished up by adding my leaves and the smallest images, added embossing powder and heat set those.  Once completely cooled, I began to color my images using Stampin’ Blends markers in old olive, pretty peacock, rich razzleberry, rococo rose, seaside spray, so saffron and mango melody.  I used both the light and dark markers.  I then set it aside to thoroughly dry.  I added by focal panel to a layer of seaside spray cardstock cut at 4x 5 1/4” and finally added to a thick whisper white card base 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” scored and folded at 4 1/4”.

For the inside of the card I used a quote which comes from the Rustic Retreat stamp set and the leaves are from Very Versailles.  Both are beautiful stamp sets and can be used for any occasion.

I hope I’ve inspired you today to try this technique.  It does turn out really lovely.
Thanks for taking time from your busy day to stop by my blog.  It’s very much appreciated.  Should you wish to order any supplies and you are in the USA, simply click on my shopping cart and it will take you directly to my online store.  Until next time, make it a great day and happy stamping. 🤗

Make a Wish with Pigment Sprinkles background

I was playing around with Stampin’ Up!’s new pigment sprinkles.  This background came together, and then it sat around for a few days before I came up with the card for today.  Here’s the original background piece:
I didn’t want to hide the beautiful background, I just wanted a simple sentiment that would compliment it.  I used a retired stamp set called called Life is Grand.  It is a sentiment only set and is one of the new fabulous distinktive© stamp sets that Stampin' Up! has released.  Of course, if you don't already own this set, you could use any sentiment you have on hand.  The label comes from the new Wild Rose dies (149547).  These can be purchased along with the To A Wild Rose stamp set in a bundle and during the 2019-2020 catalog period you save 10% when you purchase the bundle.  151073.  The stamp set is one of the sets inspired by million dollar sales achiever Mary Ellen Byler.  It's a must have, please check it out in my online store.  I added a strip of tricolor ribbon and bow to finish the card off  (149708).  My focal panel is 3 3/4" x 5' with an A2 card base of thick whisper white.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today, I hope I have inspired you to try out the pigment sprinkles 149663.  They come in a box with six different colors (bermuda bay, gorgeous grape, daffodil delight, granny apple green, melon mambo and mango melody.)  I used bermuda bay and gorgeous grape on watercolor paper to achieve this effect.  Simple sprinkle them on your paper, spray with water carefully and watch the magic.  Let dry and have some fun.  As you can see in the first photo, I taped my paper with washi tape to ensure it stayed flat.

If you wish to order any of the supplies I've used today and you live in the USA, please click on the shopping cart.  It will take you directly to my online store.  Make it a great day and happy stamping.

Beautiful Friendship promotion card

The card I have for you today was made for my granddaughter’s 8th grade promotion.  She will be a high schooler in the fall, it’s so hard to believe she’s grown so fast.  I used two new stamp sets from the 2019-2020 annual catalog which was released on June 4.  They are Beautiful Friendship (149252) and New Wonders host set (149426).  In order to get the host set, you will need to place an order of $150 in the U.S. or get a group of friends together to place orders totaling $150.  To make this card, I first cut a label using the Stitched Nested Label dies (149638) out of whisper white cardstock.  I then used some removable adhesive to place it on the a 3 3/4” x 5” piece of whisper white cardstock.  I then stamped the images from Beautiful Friendship using blackberry bliss, calypso coral, granny apple green and melon mambo inks.  The sentiment is stamped in memento black and comes from the New Wonders stamp set.  I then removed the stitched nested label piece and adhered the focal panel to a standard A2 card base in blackberry bliss.  I then popped up the label with stampin’ dimensionals being careful to match up the stamped images.

For the inside of my card, I stamped one of the fairies in memento black ink in the lower right corner of a piece of whisper white cardstock.  I then colored it using my stampin’ blends markers in light and dark blackberry bliss, light and dark calypso coral, light lovely lipstick, light pool party, light and dark granny apple green, light and dark crumb cake, light petal pink and the color lifter.

I hope you’ve found inspiration in my card today.  Please leave me a comment, I’d love to hear from you.  If you would like to purchase any of the products I’ve used today, please click on the shopping cart in the upper right.  It will take you directly to my online store.

Thank you for taking time from your busy day to spend a little time with me.  I very much appreciate it.  Until next time, make it a great day and happy stamping.

Strong and Beautiful Magnolia Z-fold card

Today’s project was made for a friend who is currently fighting cancer.  I wanted to brighten her day and I’m hoping this card will do just that.  The sentiment for this card is from Strong and Beautiful (148732).  I started with a half sheet of letter sized cardstock in mossy meadow cut at 4 1/4” by 11, scored and folded at 2 3/4” and 5 1/2”.   I then cut layers from the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper at 2 1/2” x 4 and 4 x 5 1/4.  You will also need a piece of whisper white cardstock cut at 2 1/2” x 4 for the center panel so you will have a space to write.  I used my Stamparatus (146276) to stamp the beautiful large magnolia image from the Good Morning Magnolia bundle (151087) which includes the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set and coordinating Magnolia Memory dies.  I stamped it in early espresso on a piece of whisper white cardstock.  I then used my stampin’ blends in light and dark mossy meadow, light and dark flirty flamingo and light soft suede to color the image.  Once colored, I placed it back in the Stamparatus and overstamped the image in Versamark ink then added copper embossing powder and heat set it.  To finish off the image, I added a bit of wink of Stella to the flower petals.  I then used the coordinating magnolia memory dies to cut out the image.  For the inside of the card, I stamped two of the small magnolia flowers, colored them with the same blends, cut them out with the coordinating dies and attached them behind the front panel for a little surprise when you open the card.  The sentiment is stamped on a piece of cardstock cut at 1” x 5 1/4” in early espresso ink.

I want to thank you for taking time from your busy day to stop by my blog.  Please leave me a comment, I’d love to hear from you.  I hope I’ve inspired you to make something creative today.  Please click on the shopping cart if you would like to purchase any of the items I’ve used today.  It will take you directly to my online store.

Beautiful Friendship wish list bookmark

I made today’s project after being inspired by a Facebook video I watched last night by LeeAnn Greff.  Then while looking at our quarterly publication Stampin’ Success, I saw we had some printouts for making wishlists.  I was immediately inspired to combine the two projects together.  Here is what I came up.

The bookmark features a new photopolymer stamp set from the 2019-2020 annual catalog released on June 4, called Beautiful Friendship (149252).  It’s one of our distinktive stamp sets which makes it look almost real.  These are my favorite new types of stamps.  They are always so detailed and vibrant.  Here the hydrangea is stamped in highland heather, leaves in granny apple green and the roses in gorgeous grape with centers in early espresso.  I added some Wink of Stella to the roses for a little shimmer.  I then punched a small hole and tied some of our beautiful new purple tricolor ribbon (149708) to the top to finish it off.

Thank you for taking time from your busy day to stop by my blog.  Please leave me a comment, I would love to hear from you.  If you would like to purchase any of the items I’ve used today, please click on the shopping cart it will take you directly to my online store.  Until next time, make it a great day and happy stamping.

Today’s project features the beautiful products from the Everything is Rosy product medley, available only through May 31, 2019, so hurry and get your products today before they’re gone.  They are so pretty and feature the colors of melon mambo, night of navy, and rose gold foiling.    Check on the information at my online store, product code is 150059.  I used the 6x6 rose gold foiled designer series paper, the rose gold foil 6x6 foil sheets, included dies and label sheet from the bundle on this card.  You get so much product and it makes such beautiful cards.  I also used the brand new Floral Essence stamp set (149450) which will be available beginning June 4, 2019, when the new annual catalog launches.  The sentiment comes from Butterfly Gala (148580) which is available now.   I stamped the flowers in night of navy and melon mambo with flower centers of crushed curry.  The leaves are stamped in soft sea foam and punched with the leaf punch (144667) which is also available now.  The Floral Essence stamp set can also be purchased in a bundle with the perennial flower punch for a savings of 10% when the catalog launches.  I used a standard card base in thick whisper white, then added a 3 1/4" x 5 1/2 piece of night of navy cardstock with a 3x5 1/2 piece of the Everything is Rosy designer series paper.  I attached the rose gold foil diecut to each side of the night of navy cardstock .  I also made a matching insert and envelope to complete the ensemble.

Golden Afternoon sympathy card

Today’s project features the Golden Afternoon stamp set (148772) along with a Stampin’ Blends watercolor wash technique.  I love how it turned out.  In order to achieve this effect, start with a ziplock gallon bag.  Place a piece of cardstock underneath the bag so you can see the general area you need to color. Then scribble different colors across the area being careful not to overlap your colors to prevent transferring the previous color onto the marker.  I used night of navy, flirty flamingo, pumpkin pie, mango melody, granny apple green and crumb cake Stampin’ Blends.  Once you have your colors on the bag, wet the bag with a spritzer (126185) filled with alcohol.  Then place a piece of glossy cardstock (144240) face down onto the wet bag to transfer the color to the cardstock.  Press and rub the back of the cardstock gently for a few seconds, then lift and set aside to dry.  Each card will be unique.  I then stamped the beautiful tree from Golden Afternoon and the birds in Stazon black ink (101406) using my Stamperatus (146276) to prevent slipping on the glossy cardstock as it can be a bit tricky to stamp on with the slick surface when you use a clear block.  In order for my sentiment to stand out a bit, I stamped it with Versamark ink (102283) and then added copper embossing powder (141636), then heat set the powder.  Be sure to use an embossing buddy (103083) beforehand to prevent stray embossing powder from sticking where you don’t want it.

To finish off this card, I mounted the focal panel on a piece of basic black and then onto a card base of mango melody.

I hope I’ve inspired you to try this technique.  Thanks for taking time from your busy day to stop by my blog.  Please leave me a comment, I would love to hear from you.  If you would like to purchase any of the supplies I’ve used today, please click on the shopping cart it will take you directly to my online store.

Hope you have a fabulous day and happy stamping.

Tea Together thanks a bunch

For today's project, I combined  new stamp sets, Tea Together (148779) Beautiful Bouquet (143666) and Colorful Seasons (143726) with an older retired stamp set, Basket of Wishes.  In doing so, it shows the versatility of stamp sets and how they can be utilized to inspire you to bring out and dust off some of the sets you love.  Look around and see what sets you have that you could use for this same technique.  The sentiment and the black flower centers come from Beautiful Bouquet, the tea cup from Tea Together, the cherry blossom flowers from Colorful Seasons and the succulents from Basket of Wishes.  Look around and see what you have, then dust it off and get creating.  I started with the succulents on this card, then used a mask to mask them off prior to stamping the tea cup.  This gives the illusion that it's one stamp and the succulents are sitting inside the cup.  I then stamped the tea cup.  I stamped a tea cup onto a post it note then cut out of the center of tea cup to mask off the outside of tea cup to place my cherry blossoms and black flower centers on the cup and stay inside the cup image. I colored the handle, base of the tea cup and plate using my Stampin' Blends in light and dark flirty flamingo which can be purchased either separately or in a combo (147278).  I colored the succulents using the light and dark mint macaron blends (147283) along with the light flirty flamingo.  The focal panel was cut using a Rectangle Stitched framelit (148551) and mounted a panel of Wood Texture designer series paper (144177) which was also cut with the largest rectangle from the die set.  These were mounted on a card base of tranquil tide.  I love how this turned out.

For the inside of this card, I stamped my sentiment in soft suede and the branch image is actually two stamps which make the cherry blossom branch.   All of these images come from Colorful Seasons.

The photo below shows my mask for the inside of the tea cup, although this was a project I made for St. Patrick's Day.  But it gives you the same technique.
Thank you for taking some time from your busy day to visit my blog today.  I hope I've inspired you to do something creative.  If you would like to purchase any of the Stampin' Up! products I've used today, click on the shopping cart to the right.  It will take you directly to my online store where you can shop 24/7.

Flowering teacup z fold card #simplestamping

Today's card features the Flowering Desert stamp set (148700) and an image from the stamp set found in the February 2019 Paper Pumpkin monthly subscription kit.  It is a Z fold card and stands upright.  I used cajun craze, grapefruit grove and mint macaron card stock to make the base and Z fold of the card.  The focal image is on a piece of whisper white which has been sponged with sponge daubers and the following inks starting from the bottom and working up:  sahara sand, daffodil delight, mango melody, pumpkin pie, cajun craze, flirty flamingo, gorgeous grape, pacific point and night of navy.  I stamped the cacus over the top in mint macaron.  I then stamped the botanical teacup on a piece of whisper white and colored with my Stampin' Blend alcohol markers in light and dark old olive, light flirty flaming, light crumb cake and light and dark calypso coral.  The flowers on the cup are stamped in cajun craze and are also from the February Paper Pumpkin kit.  I then fussy cut the tea cup image out and added to the focal panel with stampin' dimensionals to give it some added depth and interest.  The mint macaron layer on the smaller front panel and the larger back panel are stamped with an image from Flowering Desert to make my own designer series paper to coordinate.  All you need to make this card is stamps, ink and paper which makes it a #simplestamping card.

I did not put a sentiment on this card as I did not want to detract from the focal panel.  This card was made as a thank card and the sentiment can be found on the inside of the card, hidden from view until the card is opened.

Vibrant Vases thanks #simplestamping

Today's project is a thank you card I made for customers for shopping with me in March.  It features the Vibrant Vases (148656) stamp set and utilizes only stamps, ink and paper making it a #simplestamping card.  I started with a card base in merry merlot, then added a layer of Wood Textures (144177) designer series paper (DSP).  To that I added my focal image which is a panel of whisper white cut at 2 1/2 x 3 3/4 and layered on another piece of merry merlot cut at 2 3/4" by 4".  This card uses only one stamp set, Vibrant Vases which is a two step stamping set which means, there is no coloring.  For instance, the Vase outline is stamped in tranquil tide and has the leaves in it.  I then stamped the inside of the vase in lemon lime twist.  The flower outline is stamped in fresh fig and the inside of the flowers in merry merlot.  The leaves of the flowers were stamped in tranquil tide as well as the sentiment.  To line things up properly, I used the Stamperatus stamp positioning tool (146276) and was able to make multiples of this card very quickly.

For the inside, I used a piece of the Wood Textures DSP left from the front panel to decorate along the bottom.  The inside sentiment comes from the Flowering Desert (148700) stamp set, but you could just as easily use a sentiment from Vibrant Vases.
I want to thank you for taking time from your busy day to visit my blog.  I appreciate you so much.  Please leave me a comment, I'd love to hear from you.  If you would like to purchase any of the Stampin' Up! products I've used today, please click on the shopping cart in the upper right.  It will take you directly to my online store where you can shop 24/7.  I would love to earn your business.

Waterfront Flowering Desert own kind of beautiful #simplestamping

Today's project is a card I designed which features the Waterfront stamp set.  The stamp set was designed with the help of million dollar sales achiever Connie Heisey (146386)  You can do so much with this set to make any kind of scenery easily and quickly just be stamping images here and there.  It also features the Flowering Desert stamp set from the 2019 Occasions catalog (148700).  I used the following ink colors to achieve this picturesque scene:  berry burst, fresh fig, sahara sand, tanquil tide and lemon lime twist for the ground cover.  Mango melody, crushed curry, flirty flamingo, pacific point and night of navy inks for the sunset.

The sentiment comes from the Flowering Desert stamp set and is stamped in tranquil tide.  For the inside of my card, I stamped the cactus image and flowers in tranquil tide and berry burst also from the Flowering Desert stamp set.  Because this card utilizes only stamps, ink and paper and features at least one of the retiring colors (it actually features four of them), it qualifies for the April #simplestamping challenge issued to demonstrators.

Thank you for taking time from your busy day to stop by my blog.  I'm honored and ask that you leave me a comment.  I'd love to hear from you.  If you would like to purchase any of the items I've used today, please click on the shopping cart in the upper right.  It will take you directly to my online store where you can shop 24/7.  I would very much appreciate the business.

Best Catch love never gives up guy card

Today's project I made with my husband in mind.  He loves to fish, although he hasn't been in quite some time.  I made the card and left it for him to open while I was away on a craft retreat, so he would know I was thinking of him.  It features the Best Catch bundle (150605) which consists of the Best Catch stamp set (148598 and Catch of the Day framelits (148815).  When you purchase it with the bundle code, you save 10% but only through June 3, 2019.  Should this set carry over into the 2019-2020 annual catalog, it will no longer be offered as a bundle, so be sure to order yours today.

The card base on this card is tranquil tide.  I stamped the fisherman and sentiment in Momento black ink on a piece of Wood Textures designer series paper.  I love how it looks with this particular piece.  The fish is stamped in Momento black ink (132708) then colored with the Stampin' Blends markers.  For this I used dark balmy blue (148542), light night of navy (144036), light (146876) and dark granny apple green (146877), light bermuda bay (144580), dark petal pink (146871) and light smoky slate (145054).  I added wink of stella (141897) to some areas just to make him sparkle in some areas.  I then cut the image out with the coordinating framelits using the Big Shot (143263).

I stamped and cut the "fly" from the same stamp and die bundle for the inside of my card.  It is also colored with Stampin' Blends markers.  For this one I used many of the same colors but added some calypso coral light (144042) and dark 144044).
Thank you for taking time from your busy day to stop by my blog.  It's very much appreciated.  Please leave me a comment, I would love to hear from you.  If you would like to purchase any of the items I've used today, please click on the shopping cart in the upper right.  It will take you directly to my online store where you can shop 24/7.  I would love to earn your business.

Coffee Cafe Tic Tac treat holder made with love

Last week I was at my bi-annual paper crafting retreat.  I like to leave pillow gifts each night for the ladies.  We usually have between 6 and 7 total, including myself.  The ladies look forward to finding these gifts on their pillows and I really enjoy being able to do so for them.  I have so much fun ahead of time, planning for and making the gifts.  Usually, I CASE an idea from someone and then make it my own.  This particular gift I made completely from scratch because the idea I had in mind was simply too small for the Tic Tac treats I picked up at the Dollar Tree.  The Tic Tacs came in a pack of three.  They aren't the regular size containers, nor are they the mini size ones that Paper Pixie gets from Amazon either.  So a mid-size container had to have it's very own box....so this is what I came up with.  I love how they turned out.  This treat holder features the Coffee Cafe stamp set (143677) and the matching Coffee Cup framelits (143745).  I did use retired designer series paper, but you could use anything you have on hand and change the colors accordingly to suit your needs.  The treat box is made from pool party cardstock.  After making the two box pieces, I stamped and cut out my dies to piece together my cups.  I then added the completed cup to the top of the box with Tombow multi purpose liquid glue (110755)

I love how they came out.  They were a perfect fit for the treats and the ladies loved them.  Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to stop by my blog today.  Please leave me a comment, I'd love to hear from you.  If you would like to purchase any items I've used today, or any other Stampin' Up! products, I would appreciate your business.  Simply click on the shopping cart in the upper right, it will take you directly to my online store where you can shop 24/7.

Glad we’re friends with Incredible Like You #simplestamping

Today's project is an all occasion card.  It features the Incredible Like You stamp set (148708).  I started with a thick whisper white card base.  I stamped the sentiment and tiny flowers in berry burst, the foliage in granny apple green and the large flower in Gorgeous Grape.  I layered a piece of berry burst cardstock to the image which is only 1/8" larger than the focal panel which is cut at 5x 3 3/4".  The stamp set is a two step stamping set so you can easily achieve depth and dimension just by using the stamps.  That makes this a #simplestamping card as all you need are stamps, ink and paper.  Anyone can create this card and make it look really nice.  I love these kinds of stamps.  This is a photopolymer set which means that you can see through the stamps for perfect placement every time.  This card was inspired by Kylie Bertucci, an Austrialian Stampin' Up! demonstrator.

Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to stop by my blog today.  Please leave me a comment, I'd love to hear from you.  I hope you have been inspired to CASE my card and/or make another one of your own.  If you would like to purchase any of the products I've used today, please click on the shopping cart in the upper right, it will take you directly to my online store which is open 24/7.  I would really appreciate the business.

Until next time, make it a great day and happy stamping!

Fable friends encouragement card

Today's project features the Fable Friends stamp set (148670).  Is this bunny not the cutest?  I love it so much.  It reminds me of Peter Rabbit.  I started this project with a card base in crumb cake.  I sponged a little soft suede ink onto the recessed side of the Pine Planks (143708) dynamic embossing folder then placed my card front into the folder on the opposite side and carefully closed the lid prior to running it through my Big Shot (143263).  I then stamped my rabbit in Momento Tuxedo black ink on a piece of whisper white.  I colored him using my Stampin' Blend markers in Pool Party (144605), Crumb Cake (144601)  and Soft Suede (147273).  I used the light Petal Pink for the inside of his ears.  His buttons are Pear basics that I colored with my Blends.  I then cut him out using the Rectangle Stitched framelit dies (148551) and mounted that on a larger rectangle cut from pool party cardstock using the same die set.  The sentiment is stamped in pool party ink and also cut using the rectangle stitched dies.  This is mounted on a larger stitched rectangle which has been cut from a scrap piece of pool party.  The sentiment comes from the February Paper Pumpkin kit.  I combined two of the sentiments from the kit, but you could use anything that you have on hand.  If you aren't familiar with Paper Pumpkin, it's a monthly all inclusive kit subscription.  You can skip a month, suspend your account for several months, cancel at any time and there are no penalties.  Prepaid subscriptions are also available for one month, three months, six months or twelve months.  Each kit includes an exclusive stamp set you won't find anywhere else, ink and all the cardstock and embellishments you'll need to complete the kit.  Your first Paper Pumpkin kit  will include a clear block for mounting your stamps  in addition to everything else.  Should you have questions, please feel free to contact me.

I hope you've enjoyed my card today and are inspired to create something.  If you would like to purchase of the products I've used today, please click on the shopping cart to the right.  It will take you directly to my online store.  I would very much appreciate your business.

Amazing Happy Life card

This card is inspired by Dena Rekow of the Creativity Cave.  I watched a Facebook live where she created a similar card.  This card features the Amazing Life bundle (150624) which includes the stamp set (148750) and the Rectangle Stitched Framelit dies (148551).  If you don't have these dies in your stash, you are missing out.  They have stitching on both the inside cut and the outside cut which you can see if you look closely at the card photo.  I began with a card base in gray granite.  To make my focal image, I first stamped the large sentiment in the center of a layer of whisper white.  I then cut the sentiment out with a die from the stitched rectangle die framelits which are included in the Amazing Life bundle.  if purchased together, you save 10% when using the bundle order code.  This left me with a white frame.  To this I repeatedly stamped one of the flowers from the Amazing Life stamp set and turned it in different directions so it didn't look so uniform.  I colored both the sentiment and the flowers with my watercolor pencils (141709).  I added the frame to the card base, then adhered the sentiment piece to the frame opening using Stampin' dimensionals to add some depth and create interest.  This card is fun, easy and quick to make.

For my envelope, I stamped the same flower on the envelope flap and colored some randomly with my watercolor pencils.  I'm hoping the recipient will be excited to receive this little bit of happy mail.
Thank you so much for taking time from your busy day to stop by my blog.  Please leave me a comment, I would love to hear from you.  If you would like to purchase any of these items, just click on the shopping cart to the right.  It will take you directly to my online store where you can make a purchase.  I would very much appreciate it.

It's time to run, I hope you will make it a great day and happy stamping!

Animal Outing 1st Birthday card

Today's project is inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest by craft-somniamomma.  I changed it up just a bit.  I made this little card for my grandson's first birthday.  It features the Animal Outing bundle which includes the Animal Outing stamp set and the matching Animal Friends thinlet dies which when purchased in the bundle 148324 saves you 10%.  The card base is is a standard A2 card base in thick whisper white.  The Designer Series Paper (DSP) layer is from the Tropic Escape 6x6 DSP stack and is cut at 5 3/8" by 4 1/8".  The focal image layer is cut at 5" x 3 3/4".  I stamped the balloon image from Hand Delivered (host set  availabe with a qualifying workshop or purchase of $150 or more) and colored with my Stampin' blends in pineapple punch 147280, balmy blue, soft sea foam 148059, poppy parade 147275, calypso coral 144045, granny apple green 147274, mango melody 147945,  and bermuda bay 144600.  I used the combo pack of each color to give them depth.  The 1st comes from Making a Difference stamp set 146676.  The balloon strings are hand drawn as a I had to mask off the hands under the balloons and I had a few smudges which I corrected with the strings!  The rhino and giraffe are stamped from the Animal Outing set and are stamped and then colored using my blends.  For the giraffe I used dark cajun craze and the light pumpkin pie 144578.  I stamped the giraffe using cajun craze rather than the Momento tuxedo black I used for the rhino and the balloons.  The rhino is colored in with the smokey slate combo 145058 and light petal pink 146866 for the nostril and ears.  To color his horn, I first put a fine layer of light smokey slate around the outside, then used my color lifter 144608 to push the color toward the center.  The little bird uses the pool party combo 144605 and light calypso coral for the beak.  I die cut the giraffe and popped him up with stampin' dimensionals 104430.

For the inside of my card I used the Birthday Banners stamp set 141506.  It's stamped in the coordinating colors of the DSP stack of shaded spruce and granny apple green.  I stamped the candle in balmy blue and used pineapple punch and mango melody for the flame.

Last Lily sympathy card

Today's project is a #simplestamping card.  Stamps, ink, paper and a little bit of ribbon.  It features the Lasting Lily sale-a-bration stamp set which is only available for a couple more days.  You can earn these stamps for free with a qualifying purchase of $100 but only through March 31, 2019.  So hurry, time is running out to get yours.  This is one of the Distinktive stamps which have been specially designed for photo realism.  They are amazing with such detail  and are very versatile.  A must have in my book.

The lilies are stamped in blackberry bliss and garden green.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  To finish off this card, I added a bow tied with the black glittered organdy ribbon 147897 that carried over from the 2018 holiday catalog.  It's the perfect accent for this card don't you agree?  I added my focal image to an A2 card base in blackberry bliss.  That's all there is to this one.  A very quick and simple card with a lot of wow factor.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.  If you would like to get the any of the products I've used today, click on the shopping cart link to be taken directly to my online store.  I'd love to earn your business.

Wishing You Well tulip wreath card

Today's project uses one of my absolute favorite background stamps.  It's the buffalo check 147794 and I stamped it on a piece of balmy blue cardstock cut at 5 1/4" by 4" with night of navy.  Piece is layered on a thick whisper white A2 card base.  The focal image is stamped on a piece of regular whisper white cardstock which has been cut at 3 3/4" x 5.  I stamped the wreath from the Wishing You Well 147864 stamp set which is a carryover from the 2018 holiday catalog.  The tulips are stamped in lovely lipstick and come from the Vibrant Vases 148656.  They are punched out with the coordinating Vase Builder punch 147040.  The bow on this wreath is also part of the Wishing You Well stamp set.  This set is one of Stampin' Up!'s new Distinkive sets that are photo realistic and absolutely amazing.  The sentiment comes from the FREE Sale-a-bration stamp set called Part of My Story.  You can earn this with a $50 qualifying purchase through March 31, 2019.

I absolutely love how this card turned out.  It looks so bright and springy!  If you would like to purchase any of the supplies I've used today, please click on the shopping basket link.  It will take you directly to my online store where you can shop 24/7.  I'd love to earn your business and be your Stampin' Up! demonstrator if you don't already have one.

Painted Seasons friend are flowers Thank you card

For my project today, I had to make a quick thank you card to place in one of my customer orders....yes, I could have used one I already had made, but.....it's more fun to make a new one.  I had this frame already laying around from another project so I just needed to use it.  This is the idea that came to me.  It features the Painted Seasons Sale-a-bration free stamp set 150349 and I used the coordinating dies Four Seasons framelits 150074 (which are only available while supplies last or March 31 whichever is earliest) to cut out the two flowers in the center piece.  Hurry to get your free Sale-a-bration items before they're gone.  You only have a short time until the end of this month.  for every $50 you spend, you get to choose one free level 1 item.  For every $100 you spend, you can choose a level 2 item or a two level 1 items.  The more you spend, the more you get for free but only until March 31, 2019!  I then adhered them down with a tiny bit of adhesive to die cut the frame using the Rectangle Stitched framelit dies 148551.  The frame is also cut with those same dies.  I mounted both diecuts to a card base in blackberry bliss.  The colors used to stamp were blackberry bliss, calypso coral, mint macaron and pool party for the small dots.  The sentiment comes from A Big Thank You 147377.

I hope you've enjoyed the project today.  Thank you for taking time from your busy schedule to stop by my blog today.  It's very much appreciated.  If you would like to purchase any products I've used today, please click on the shopping cart in the upper right.  It will take you directly to my online store.  I would love it if you would please leave me a comment.  I read each one.

This Little Piggy is growing up birthday card

Hello everyone!  I just had to share this card today.  It was designed and made by my 14-year-old granddaughter Kaitlyn for her mom’s birthday.  She did the majority of the work, all of the design, coloring and fussy cutting.  I am thrilled with the way this turned out.  I picked her up after school, we came home and she got started working straight away.  When she was finished, she was ready to go home.  Her mom gets a lovely card and I got to spend some quality crafting time with my granddaughter.  It was a win-win.  The stamp set she chose is called This Little Piggy.  The sentiment comes from Itty Bitty Birthdays.  The flowers were die cut from Gorgeous Grape cardstock using the Bouquet Bunch framelits.  The grass is cut from a retired framelit set which was part of the Basket Bunch bundle.  Her card base is Highland Heather, with a layer of Soft Sky (retired) and a piece of the Highland Heather gingham Designer Series Paper from Gingham Gala 6x6 Designer Series Paper stack.  She used a bit of Wink of Stella on the cloud which is also from This Little Piggy.  She colored the pig with Stampin’ Blends in Petal Pink (combo), Ivory for her nose and light Crumb Cake on the hooves.  I think she did a fabulous job for her first time using the blends.  She then fussy cut out the pig and popped her up on stampin’ dimensionals.

I should have taken a photo of the inside of the card, but forgot.  Inside she used the Making a Difference stamp set to spell out Kinda, then added lol and jk (just joking).  Her mom got a laugh out of the sentiment she made.

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s project and are inspired to create something of your own.  Please leave a comment, we’d love to hear from you.  If you want to purchase any Stampin’ Up! Supplies, I would be grateful for your business.  Please click on the shopping cart in the upper right.  It will take you directly to my online store.  Thanks for stopping by my blog today, make it a great day and happy stamping!

St. Patricks Day tea together treat card

Today’s project is a 3D project.  I got the idea from LeAnn Greff who had made a similar project; however, her’s did not fit my chosen treat.  I had to alter the dimensions of the holder to fit my treat.  The finished size of the card front is 2 3/4” x 2 3/4”.  It features the Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper 149574 free during Sale-a-Bration but only until the end of this month, so hurry to get your $50 order in to earn this paper for FREE!  I used the tea cup from Tea Together 148779 and the matching Tea Time framelit dies 149697 which are also a Sale-a-Bration FREE item with a $100 purchase.  I masked the outside of the tea cup after stamping it in Momento Tuxedo black ink, then stamped the clover from Amazing Life onto the tea cup.  The dot stamp is also from Amazing Life.  I then colored the image using the Call Me Clover Stampin’ Blends combo set.  Then using the coordinating framelits, I diecut the tea cup (Inspiration from Kathy Morgan for the tea cup). The sentiment comes from the Amazing Life stamp set and is diecut with the Rectangle Stitched Framelit dies which can be purchased as a bundle 150624 through the end of May 2019 to save you 10%.

In order to make the card base treat holder, you need a 2 3/4” x 10 1/2” piece of Call Me Clover cardstock.  Score at 3/4, 3 1/2, 4 1/4, 7 and 7 3/4”.  On the square closet to the 3/4” inch score, using your layering circle framelits 141705, diecut a hole with the circle closet to 1 1/4”.  Then diecut in whisper white a scallop closest to 1 1/2” and the same circle die used previously to make the scalloped frame to got around.  Adhere this to the card base.  Stamp Have a Lucky Day from Itty Bitty Greetings in the lower right corner in Call Me Clover.  Fold and burnish on all the score lines.  On the 3/4” strip at one end, place liquid glue or tear tape.  I trimmed this piece off just a hair so it would fit properly when folding up and adhering to make the treat holder portion.  Adhere the 3/4” end to the 3/4” scored strip between the squares to form the treat box.  I designed this size to fit a Knoppers  Milk Hazlenut Wafer I found at Walmart.  You can now decorate the front with the tea cup and sentiment.  I love how his project turned out and the wafers are delicious.😋
