Graduation card 2026 with Balloon Festoon

For my card today I needed a couple of graduation cards but I didn't have any current graduation sets by Stampin' Up!  So, I improvised a bit and used the Balloon Festoon bundle along with Seasonal Celebrations which retired in April.  (Sadly, it's sold out but I encourage you to look through your stash for a graduation cap.  It's time to dust off those retired stamps and give them a little love.  You will also find a sneak peek of an embossing folder coming in the July Online Exclusives.  Of course, you can always use something you have on hand.  To watch the video tutorial on how I put my card together, be sure to click this link to head on over to YouTube.

Supplies and measurements:
Balloon Festoon bundle* 167606 (includes stamps and dies)
Seasonal Celebrations (for grad cap-sorry, retired.  Please use what you have or leave it off.)
Scalloped Wishes stamps (for happy graduation sentiment only) 167447 (can be purchased in a bundle* 167453 with coordinating dies.)
Sneak Peek alert! Swirls of Magic Embossing folder 168179 (July 2026 Online Exclusives coming 7/1)
Wonderful Stars Puffy Stickers 167526 (I used retired Shimmer Star Foam Stickers if you have them)
Gold Foil, #132622, 4" x 5 1/4"  & 3/4" x 3 5/8" strip for inside (again I used retired Brushed Silver & Gold foil I had on hand)
Two-tone and/or regular cardstock scraps for balloons in Real Read, Basic White and Basic Black
Basic Black cardstock scraps for embossing sentiments
Basic White cardstock 3 5/8" x 4 7/8" for inside layer
Basics WoW! Embossing powder (white) 165679
Ink Pads: Real Read, Basic Beige, VersaMark, Memento Tuxedo Black
Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon 165599, approx 16"

I hope you liked my card today and will give this a try using whatever supplies you currently have on hand to make a graduation card OR you could very easily make this one a birthday card or congratulations card.

You will find all the supplies I've used today in my online store (unless it's retired OR coming in the July OE release.)  Click on the shopping cart to the right, it will take you directly to my online store where you can shop 24/7.

Until next time; be happy, good health to you and happy stamping!

Balloon Festoon Shaped Birthday card

The first card I thought to make with the new Balloon Festoon card was a shaped birthday card.  I used the second largest of the balloon dies to make my card base.  I tried the largest balloon die but it wouldn't have fit into a standard medium size envelope, so I opted for the second largest size.  The finished card size is approximately 3 3/4" x 5".  I combined some images from the Words & Wishes stamp set to finish the overall design.  If you are in a hurry, you could easily stamp a sentiment, make the balloon card and call it good.  It would still be cute and unique with whatever pattern paper you used.  To see how I made my card, watch the video tutorial over on my YouTube channel by clicking this link.  After I finished the video, I did go back and add a baker's twine bow to the neck as I thought it would look a little more finished.  I love the difference it made, and you can see that in the photos below.

Supplies and measurements:
Balloon Festoon bundle* 167606 (includes stamps & dies)
Words & Wishes bundle* 167897 (includes stamps & dies)
Sunset Sparkle Sequins 167785
Baker's Twine Essential Pack 155475 (white)
Basic White cardstock 4 1/4" x 11", scored in the center at 5 1/2"
Basic White cardstock to cut 2nd & 3rd largest balloon die (both pieces are optional), & image/sentiment label
Beautiful Ordinary Life DSP
    4" x 6" approx. (cut 2nd largest balloon, balloon shine & gifts.
Ink Pads: Memento Tuxedo Black, Real Read, Timid Tiger, Lost Lagoon
Stampin' Blends alcohol markers: Pool Party, Lt Smoky Slate
Wink of Stella glitter brush 141897

I hope you love this card as much as I do.  While this shaped card is unique, it's quick and simple to make.  I hope you give it a try.  Birthday cards are my most used cards and kids of all ages would love to receive this one I think.

All of these items are now available to customers and can be purchased in my online store by clicking on the shopping cart to the right.  Thanks in advance for supporting my small business.  I appreciate you more than you know.

Ladybug Birthday in 2026-2028 In Colors

For my card today I wanted to focus on the new 2026-2028 In Colors which will debut on May 5.  I had this vision to stamp the ladybugs in a row and color one in each color...then decided I really needed to use the Peaceful Pine to color my foliage rather than a ladybug.  I started with a sketch (of which this card looks absolutely nothing like except for the rectangle lol), then dove in and this is the result.  I am rather pleased with the looks of it.   It just goes to show you how you can start with an idea or sketch and it's only a jumping off point for your creativity.  To watch the YouTube video tutorial on how I put this card together, click this link.

Birthday shell fan technique card

For my card today, I've used the Shell Collecting stamp set along with some techniques to make this beach scene.  I think it's very unique and I love how it turned out.  It took three tries to get the vision in my head down on paper, but I am pleased with the result and I hope you are too.  You can watch the video tutorial over on my YouTube channel to see how I achieved this look.  You will find it here by clicking this link. It's really pretty simple with some masking, ink blending and a little creativity.  I hope you give it a try.
