Postcard Pals Bokeh card

I absolutely love the Postcard Pals (146701) stamp set.  It just makes me smile.  I borrowed this set from my friend and made my monthly thank you cards with it.  I started with a card base in Soft Sea Foam.  The Designer Series Paper is from the Wood Textures 6x6 paper stack (144177).  I then used a piece of Highland Heather cardstock.  I stamped my little postcard pal in Tuxedo Momento black ink, then masked him off prior to stamping one of the two images from the Bokeh stamp set (148113) in Soft Sea Foam stamped off once (aka second generation stamping).  I used my Stamperatus (146276) in order to get perfect stamp placement.  I then colored my image using Stampin’ Blends markers.  The sentiment is also from the Postcard Pals stamp set.  Every time I look at this card, I just can’t help but smile.  I hope it brightens your day as well, if only for a moment.

My second card is done in Balmy Blue utilizing the same tools.  Thanks for stopping by my little blog today.  I hope I’ve inspired you to do something creative.  If you wish to purchase any of the supplies I used today, you can click on the shopping cart to the right.  It will take you directly to my online store.  I would love to earn your business.  Please leave me a comment, I would love to hear from you.  Thanks again, and have a crafty day.

Marbled Varied Vases

I love this stamp set and punch which was inspired by Mary Fish for her million dollar sales achievement.  The stamp set is called Varied Vases (146644) and has a coordinating punch (147040).  It can be purchased in a bundle (148381) and save you 10%.  Here is a card I created using it along with the marbled background stamp (144772).  I used blushing bride for the marbled background.  The vase features Mary’s signature tulip.  Flowers are stamped in Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Rich Razzleberry, and Mango Melody.  I cust a stitched oval diecut and mounted it on a scalloped oval from the Layering ovals framelits.  The ribbon behind the focal image is burlap ribbon.  I opted to leave the sentiment off and add it to the inside as I need a card.  This card design could be used for any occasion.

I hope you enjoy my card for you today and are inspired to create something yourself.  You can order any of the supplies I’ve used today by clicking on the shopping cart to the right.  I’d love to have your business.  Please leave me a comment, I’d love to hear from you.  Thanks for stopping by my blog and have a crafty day.

Simply the Best Seasonal Vase

Today’s card continues to feature the Vase Builder punch (147040) which coordinates with Mary Fish’s million dollar achiever Varied Vases stamp set (146644).  In addition, I’ve added the flowers from a new stamp set called In Every Season (146709) which features flowers for every month.  This set has several images which will work in the vases from the punch.  I punched the vase in Whisper White then stamped the pattern from Timeless Textures (140517) in Bermuda Bay and Touches of Texture (143251) in Daffodil Delight.  The flowers are colored with the Stampin’ Blends in Calypso Coral and the leaves in Old Olive.  I used the stitched oval die framelits (146828) to cut the oval.  The sentiment comes from the Varied Vases stamp set.  My Designer Series Paper is in Calypso Coral and is retired; However, you could use a background paper from the Subtles Designer Series Paper 6x6 paper stack (146966).

Cauldron Bubble copper Happy Halloween

This card was inspired by a post on Pinterest by Barbara Bower.  I’ve changed a few things and made it my own.  It features products from the Toil and Trouble suite in the 2018 holiday catalog.  I used the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper (147531) and cut the cute little witch from the paper using the Cauldron framelits (bundle 149931).  The stamp set Cauldron Bubble (147713)) and the Cauldron Framelits (147914)  can be purchased separately or in the bundle.  The bundle saves you 10%.  I stamped and cut the broom and the cauldron.  I colored them using the Stampin’ Blends markers.  Happy Halloween is embossed in copper embossing powder.  The spider web embellishment was also cut from the framelits.  The bow is made from the Black 3/8” glittered organdy ribbon also from the suite.  These produces can be found on pages 48 and 49 of the 2018 Stampin’ Up!
Holiday catalog.  The background is stamped in Pumpkin Pie ink using the Buffalo Check background (147794) stamp.

Trick or Tweet chick hand sanitizer holder

This project is inspired by Julie Dimatteo of the PaperPixie.com.  She made a Christmas version.  I decided to make this for a door prize.  I used Highland Heather cardstock for the holder.  It is wrapped in a piece of Designer Series Paper from the Brights collection 6x6 paper stack(146964).  I stamped the little bird and pumpkin bucket from Trick or Tweet (147722) and colored them with Stampin’ Blends markers in Daffodil Delight dark, Pumpkin Pie light, and Mango Melody dark.  They hold a hand sanitizer from Bath and Body Works.  These are very easy to put together and use the envelope punch board (133774).

Petal Promenade Thank You

This card features the Petal Promenade suite which is available in the 2018-19 Stampin’ Up! annual catalog.  This was one of the first bundles I purchased from the catalog.  It’s called Beautiful Promenade bundle 148389.  By purchasing both the stamp set and framelits together, you save 10%.  Of course, they can be purchased separately.  I used Fresh Fig as my card base and the first layer.  I used one of the stamps from the set to make my own background paper and create a little texture stamping in the fresh fig.  The bottom of the layer is embossed using one of the two embossing folders in Petal Pair 145656.  Other colors used are Flirty Flaming, Petal Pink and Tranquil Tide.  I embossed the sentiment, flowers and rectangle in copper embossing powder.  The sentiment is from the Hand Delivered host stamp set 146808 which can only be purchased with host rewards earned from an order and/or workshop totaling $150 or more.  You can check these out by clicking on the shopping cart in the upper right corner or by going to teresaharper.stampinup.net.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope I’ve inspired you to create your own card.  Please leave me a comment, I’d love to hear from you.

Pocketful of Daisy Delight Tissue holder

These little tissue holders were inspired by a video from Elizabeth Shannon I saw on Youtube.  I changed the dimensions slightly to fit a pack of Puffs Plus with lotion facial tissues.  I used Dapper Denim cardstock and the Burlap stamp as the background.  I stamped off before stamping on the cardstock.  I cut a pocket using the Pocketful of Sunshine bundle 145345.  I again stamped the background with the burlap stamp and the pocket stitching details from the Pocketful of Sunshine stamp set.  The little bless you tag is also from the Pocket framelits 143750 and I hand wrote the bless you on the tag.  The large Daisy is from the Daisy Delight Bundle 145361.  I stamped the daisy in Sweet Sugarplum ink 141395 with Daisy Delight stamp set 143669 and punched it with the daisy punch 143713.  A clear faceted gem 144142 colored with the light Rich Razzleberry Stampin' blend marker 144584 completes the daisy along with a little Clear Wink of Stella glitter brush 141897.
I love how this turned out.  I made several of these to leave as pillow gifts for my girlfriends at our April beach crop event.  The pocket holds a lemon tea bag.

You're Inspiring Mother's Day card

I made two of these cards for my mom and mother-in-law for Mother's Day this year.   The card base is from the Tutti Frutti cards and envelopes which were part of the 2018 SAB promotion which has since ended.  This card features the hinge step stamping technique technique utilizing the Stamperatus  which can be seen here.  This awesome new tool will be available in the 2018-2019 annual catalog and is an amazing new stamp positioning tool.   The sentiment is from Blossoming Basket which is no longer available; however, you could use any sentiment you already have on hand.  The daffodils are from a stamp set called You're Inspiring 145808 and are colored using our new Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.  I used light and dark Daffodil Delight 144603 and light and dark Old Olive 144597 as well as a touch of light Pumpkin Pie 144599.   The sentiment is stamped in Pool Party ink 126982 on Whisper White cardstock 100730.
Isn't that ribbon lovely?  It's the 1/4" Whisper White organza ribbon 145590 colored with a light Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend marker.  You can color any whisper white ribbon with Stampin' Blends markers quickly and easily.  I love having the versatility of that!

I hope you were inspired by my project today.  Please leave me a comment.  If you would like to purchase any of the items used today, please visit my online store by clicking on the shopping basket.  I would love to earn your business.  Thanks for stopping by.

Blossoming Basket Bundle birthday card

Today is my mom's birthday.  Happy Birthday mom!  This card it for you.  It uses the Blossoming Basket bundle which was available for free during the 2018 Sale-A-Bration(SAB) promotion which has now ended.  Although the stamp set is no longer available, the Basket Weave Dynamic embossing folder will be available for sale when the 2018-2019 annual catalog begins in June.  The card base was another offering during SAB.  The roses are colored with our Stampin' Blends markets in light and dark Pink Piroutte 144604, along with light Rich Razzleberry 144584 and light and dark Daffodil Delight 144603.  Greenery is colored with light and dark Old Olive 144597 and light Daffodil Delight.  The butterflies are colored with Daffodil Delight and light Calypso Coral 144042.  I used light and dark Crumb Cake 144601 on the basket.
did you notice the stitched rectangle?  I used the Stitched Shapes framelits 145372 to make the rectangle using a stitched square.  You can stretch the square to make a rectangle by placing the edge of your top acrylic plate before the end of the square so it won't cut the one edge.  Then rotate your paper and cut again doing the same thing.  This will avoid cutting one edge and allows you to cut a rectangle instead of a square.  I did the same thing with the scallop rectangle.  It comes from the Layer Squares framelits 141708 and is cut in Pink Piroutte cardstock 111351.  I fussy cut out the basket.  I then stamped and colored the roses a second time and fussy cut those out so I could pop them up with Stampin' Dimensionals 104430 for some dimension in my basket.  I know my mom will love this card.

Please leave me a comment if you liked my project today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog.  If you would like to order any products I used today, please click on the shopping cart to the right.  I'd love earn your business.  I hope you take some time to craft today.

Stampin' Up Apron of Love treat holder

Today's project is inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest made by Cindy Bouchard.  I took her card idea and turned it into this treat holder.  The Stampin' Up logo stamp has been retired and was only available to demonstrators in the Best Decision Ever business stamp set.  I embossed it with Versamark ink 102283 and white embossing powder 109132.  Other stamp sets used are the Apron of Love bundle 145986 which includes Apron of Love photopolymer stamp set 145835 and the Apron Builder Framelits 145661.  When purchased in a bundle, you save 10%.  The paint brushes, exacto knife and pencil are from a red rubber stamp set called Crafting Forever 143958.  I fussy cut them out.
The images from the Crafting Forever stamp set were colored with a mixture of Stampin' blends and Stampin' Write markers.  The little scissors were cut twice with the Apron Builder framelits. Once with basic black cardstock 121045 and once with silver foil sheets 132178.  I then cut the top of the black scissors off and mounted to the silver foil scissors.  I love how they turned out.  These little treat holders will hold four Hershey's miniture bars.  I made these as pillow gifts for my friends at our April 2018 beach crop.  They absolutely loved them.

Bird Banter meets Petal Passion birthday

I made this birthday card for a co-worker.  It features the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper 145589 along with the Bird Banter stamp set 145852.  I cut a whisper white cardstock layer and a Petal Passion DSP layer at 5 1/4 x 4.  I then used the layering circle framelits to cut a circle in both layers at the same time.  I then used the white cardstock layer over the top of another whisper white layer to sponge soft sky ink into the circle.  I stamped the leaf branch onto the soft sky circle and then adhered my DSP layer over the whisper white layer.  I then cut a scalloped circle slightly bigger from a layer of lemon lime twist cardstock and then cut a circle one size down into the center to make the scalloped circle outline and adhered it on top of the DSP.
I stamped the cockatiel bird from the Bird Banter stamp set onto shimmery white cardstock 101910.  I then colored my bird with an aqua painter using lemon lime twist 144086 and bermuda bay 131171 inks.  The finishing touch for this card is a strip of 1/4" organza ribbon 145590 with a strip of the lemon lime twist ombre ribbon 144234.  I stamped the sentiment on whisper white using bermuda bay ink and cut it out with a framelit from the Petals and More framelits 145655.  This is popped up on some mini stampin dimensionals 144108.  My card base is a standard A2 whisper white card base.

Celebrate Spring Foil card

I was inspired by many cards I saw on Pinterest for this card.  It features the beautiful Spring Foil cardstock and the Celebrate thinlets.  The Celebrate You thinlets will be available in the 2018-2019 annual catalog.  They were a free item during the 2018 Sale-A-Bration season, along with the Spring Foil cardstock.
I used the Stampin' Blends to color the Spring Foil cardstock and the work celebrate.  Stampin' Blends are so amazing!  Colors used were the light and dark old olive 144597, light and dark Calypson Coral 144045, and light and dark Daffodil Delight 144603.  The strips of gold are retired washi tape but you can achieve the same look with a strip of gold foil sheets 132622.  My card base is a standard A2 size in Calypso Coral.

We Must Celebrate diaper card

Isn't this baby shower invite or gift card just adorable!  I love how it turned out.  I got the instructions for cutting the card to look like a diaper from a video I found on YouTube by Melanie Muenchinger.  It's entitled How to make a Simple 3D Diaper Card-No template needed.

I cut the Pool Party cardstock as instructed in the video by cutting the bottom left corner at approximately 2" from the bottom and roughly 1 3/4" from the left side on the diagonal.  Then using that cut piece on the right side as a template to make both sides even.  I then ran  the cut card base through the big shot with the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions (143231) embossing folder.  I ran the cut corner pieces through separately making sure to put them in the folder the same direction as the card base to match the pattern.  The bunny, snail and mushrooms are stamped on whisper white card stock with Momento black ink and are from the stamp set We Must Celebrate (145898) which can be found in the 2018 Occasions catalog.  I colored them with my Stampin' Blends markers then fussy cut them out.  The tree stump is from Always and Forever (143814), but you could also use the tree stump from Hedgehugs (145879).  I stamped the tree stump, then cut the bottom off as I didn't want the whole stump, just the top of it.   I little bit of ribbon on each "fold" where the diaper pins would go and my card is finished.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you are inspired to go do something creative.  Please leave me a comment, I'd love to hear from you.

This Little Piggy retiform technique card

I had seen several cards using the retiform technique.  This card is my first try utilizing this technique.  It features This Little Piggy (143922) stamp set.  I sectioned off each triangle using post-it notes and sponged crumb cake ink along the edge of the post-it.  After making my four sections, I stamped my pigs in Momento tuxedo black ink and colored them with my Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.  The cute little lips and sentiment are also in the same stamp set.

I used Smokey Slate light and dark (145058), Pink Pirouette light and dark (144604), Crumb Cake dark (144581) and the Bronze (144607) Stampin' blends markers to color my pigs.  I then added some clear Wink of Stella glitter brush (141897) on the wings of the flying pig for some sparkle on this card.  Stampin' Blends can be purchased individually, in combo packs of light and dark or in a markers collection (147475).  If you purchase the collection before March 31, 2018, you will earn up to two free Sale-A-Bration products.  Just click on the shopping cart to be taken to my online store where you can get further details.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you have been inspired to try this technique.  Please leave me a comment if you have questions or comments.  I would love to hear from you.

Congratulations with a Beautiful Bouquet jar of love

This card combines a couple stamp sets to make a beautiful bouquet of flowers.  The background for this card is stamped with the Burlap background stamp (143982).  It's stamped on very vanilla cardstock with crumb cake ink.  The flowers are from the Beautiful Bouquet (143666) photopolymer stamp set and cut with the coordinating framelits Bouquet Bunch (143659) which can be purchased in a bundle (145297) to save you 10%.  The flowers are stamped in Sweet Sugarplum, Fresh Fig, Daffodil Delight and Peekaboo Peach.  They are sitting in a jar which was stamped on cardstock vellum (101856) from the Jar of Love (141587) stamp set and cut with the coordinating Everyday Jars framelits (141490).  These sets combined are amazing and extremely versatile.  They can be used for any occasion year around.  The water in the jar is stamped in pool party ink and the stamp is also from the Jar of Love stamp set.  My sentiment is stamped on whisper white and cut with stitched  shapes framelits (145372) and set on a scalloped square which was cut using the Layering Squares framelits (141708).  I also used some daffodil delight ribbon (retired) and burlap ribbon (141487) to finish off the card.

Thanks for taking time from your busy day and stopping by my blog.  Please leave me a comment, I'd love to hear from you.  If you would like to order any of the products used on this project, please click on the shopping cart and it will take you to my online store where you can purchase those items and many more.  Have a creative day and I'll talk with you soon.

Hedgehog Happiness thank you card

Although this card features a retired stamp set, I combined it with products you can get from the 2018 Sale-a-Bration (SAB) brochure and some items from the annual catalog. The focal image was colored with our new Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.  I used Rich Razzleberry (144602), Smokey Slate (145058), Crumb Cake ((144601), light Daffodil Delight (144586), light Calypso Coral (144042) light Pink Pirouette (144592), light Old Olive (144574) and Bronze (144607).  The image was stamped in Momento Tuxedo black ink (132708) which is  a must for using the blends with.  It won't smear or bleed as it is meant to be used with alcohol inks.  The Springtime Foils designer series  paper is from the second release of SAB products which you  can choose for free when you purchase each $50 increment of product.  I used a sponge brayer (141714) to layer Berry Burst ink over  the white background to change the color.  I love how it turned it. The ribbon is from the 2018 occasions catalog and is the Berry Burst 3/8" metallic-edge ribbon (145489).  The card base is a piece of Berry Burst cardstock.  It can be purchased separately (144243) or in a multi pack of 2017-2019 in color cardstock (144247).

We do have a current stamp set which features adorable hedgehogs and is called Hedgehugs.  It is equally adorable and available now.  SAB items are available while supplies last, but no later than March 31, 2018, when the promotion ends.  Be sure to get yours right away before they sell out.  The Occasions catalog is available until May 31, 2018. Click on the shopping cart to the right, to go to my online store to make your purchases and be sure to take advantage of SAB.  Each $50 increment spent earns you one item.  If you spend $100, you can choose two in the $50 category OR for the first time, Stampin' Up does have three options to purchase at the $100 level.  Be sure to check it out.  You won't want to miss out.

Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to stop by my blog.  I hope I've inspired you to do something creative today.  Please leave me a comment, I'd love to hear from you.

You've Got This with Brusho

I designed this card for a make-n-take for my last workshop.  The ladies had a lot of fun and each one was quite different.  This was my first card made using the new Brusho Crystal Colour (144101) which are available in the Occasions catalog. I first stamped the flower image with Versamark (102283) ink on a piece of watercolor paper (122959).  I then added copper embossing powder (141636) and heat set it with our heat tool (129053).  I added yellow Brusho crystals in the center, tapping lightly on the bottom of the canister.  Around that, I added gamboge or orange and then added red around the outside.  For the leaves, I first put yellow down and topped with moss green.  After putting down the crystals, I took my aqua painter (103594) and, starting in the center, added a little water and "painted" the colors cleaning my brush  as I went so as not to mix all the colors together.  For this technique, a very little water goes a long way and gives you a nice vibrant color.  I set this aside to dry.  After a few minutes, I used the lowest setting on my heat tool to set the color.  I then added a piece of copper trim ribbon to the bottom of the watercolor paper.  I tied a bow with the copper trim and used a glue dot to secure it to the ribbon across the bottom.  Any stray dry crystals can be blown away as the crystals require water to activate the color.

This piece was mounted to a piece of real read card stock.  I put a piece of wood texture designer series paper through my big shot (143263) with a new embossing folder which is only available for free for a limited time as part of the Blossoming Basket bundle (147505) through Sale-a-Bration which ends on March 31, 2018.  You can choose this bundle for free when placing an order of $100 or more.  Stampin' Up has let us know this embossing folder (which is called the Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions embossing folder) will be available for purchase when the 2018-2019 catalog is released in June.  I added the basket weave embossed piece to a card base of Early Espresso.  I did not put a sentiment on this card so it can be used for any occasion I need a card for.  I think this card is very versatile and would be great for just about anything.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today and taking some time from your busy day.  I hope you are inspired to try Brusho if you haven't already.  It was a lot of fun and I know the ladies in the class had a great time and were very pleased with their results and how easy it was to use.

Always and Forever Painted Harvest wedding card

I love the way this card turned out (and so did the bride).  It uses Sweet Sugarplum, Berry Burst and Fresh Fig for the flowers and Tranquil Tide for the leaves.  I've used the wood textures (144177) designer series paper in the background.  The flowers are stamped with Painted Harvest (144783) which is a carryover set from the 2017 holiday catalog and is still available for purchase.  I also used Always and Forever (143814) from the annual catalog for the Mr. & Mrs. and the tree stump.

I fussy cut the flowers and tree stump.  The leaves were punched with the leaf punch (144667) which is also a carryover from the 2017 holiday catalog.  With wedding season coming soon, this would make a lovely card in any color scheme.

If you would like to order any of the products used, please click on the shopping cart on the right.  It will take you directly to my online store.   Thanks for stopping by my blog today and taking time out of your busy day.  I hope you were inspired.

Lovely Thank You Wishes

Today I am featuring the Lovely Wishes stamp set (145924) which can found on page 50 of the 2018 Occasions catalog.  I started with a card base of thick Whisper White cardstock.  I added an embossed layer of Pear Pizzazz using the Layered Leaves Dynamic embossing folder (It has an extra deep impression).  I then used one of the leaf stamps from the set to stamp on some of the raised areas in the coordinating ink color.  That’s one of the things I love most about Stampin’ Up! Everything coordinates--inks, papers, and embellishments!  It’s so easy to make beautifully coordinated projects without worrying about the colors matching.  My main focal panel was stamped on Whisper White cardstock in Momento tuxedo black ink.  I colored the images with my Stampin’ Blends markers.  I didn’t have to as the stamp set has stamps to easily fill in the images if you don’t care to color. I love to color and I've been having so much fun with my Stampin' Blends that I chose not to use those particular stamps on this project.

The sentiment I used is from the Petal Palette stamp set (145785 clear mount).  Thanks for stopping my blog today.  I hope you've found a little inspiration here.  Please leave me a comment, I'd love to hear from you.  If you'd like to purchase any of the items I've used today, please click on the shopping cart to go directly to my online store.  I'd love to earn your business.  I hope you have a happy and creative day.

Painted with Love narrow notecard set

Today’s project features four note cards I made to go inside the You Warm My Heart note card box I blogged about last week.  All cards start with the Whisper White Narrow note cards & envelopes (145583).  You get 20 cards and envelopes in a package and they are made from the thick Whisper White cardstock.

This first card features the Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper (145580).  Each sheet of this paper has gold foiling on one side and a printed pattern without foiling on the reverse.  I used the Sure Do Love You stamp set (145766) and coordinating framelits Lots to Love Box framelits (145653), bundle pricing (145966).  When you purchase the bundle and the narrow note cards, you will have spent enough to qualify for a free Sale-a-Bration item such as Party Pandas (147221). {Offer available through March 31, 2018 only}

The second card utilizes the same Sure Do Love You Stamp set as well as a coordinating stamp set called Heart Happiness.  (145769).  I used the Petal Passion DSP on this card as well.  The gold hearts are from the Painted Love Gold Vinyl stickers (145586).   The gold embossed dots are from a stamp included with Petal Palette (145788).

The next card again uses the Petal Passion DSP and the Petal Palette stamp set (birds).  There is only one bird in the stamp set, but a stamped a mirror image to have the birds looking at each other.  The heart is from Heart Happiness.  I added a stamped image from the same set by inking up three of the small hearts and stamping them inside the main heart image.  A final touch is the retired washi tape from the 2017 holiday catalog.

The final card uses the same watercolor technique as the heart from the box last week.  This time I inked the stamp with Marina Mist, Island Indigo and Dapper Denim markers and spritzed with water.  I wanted this card to have a very masculine feel to it.  The heart is mounted on a stamped label from Labels to Love punched with the Everyday Label punch.  The gold intricate piece behind is from the Petals and More thinlets dies (145655) which I also used to die cut the birds in the card above.  You an purchase the Petal Palette stamp set and the Petals and More thinlets as a bundle (145974) and save $10.  These items can be found on page 23 of the 2018 Occasions catalog.  You Warm My Heart sentiment comes from Lovely Wishes stamp set (145924).

Thank you for taking time from your busy day to visit my blog.  I hope you found some inspiration and will try your own projects.  Please leave me a comment, I'd love to hear your thoughts.  I hope you have a happy creative day.

You Warm My Heart narrow note card box

My project today is a box created with the Lots to Love Box framelits (145653) and the Sure Do Love You stamp set (145763) which can also be purchased as a bundle (145966) to save 10%.  The box is made from Powder Pink cardstock.  My next step was to stamp my heart as it needs time to dry.  I started with the heart image from Sure Do Love You.  I inked it up with Stampin’ Write markers in Sweet Sugarplum, Berry Burst and Rich Razzleberry working from lightest to darkest.  I then gently spritzed the stamp with water and quickly stamped it on a piece of watercolor paper.  After it dried, I die cut it with the coordinating framelits Lots to Love Box.  I then added a layer of the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper (145589) to the box top.  The sentiment is stamped on Powder Pink cardstock in Rich Razzleberry with a stamp from Lovely Wishes (145924).  The shape was stamped using Labels to Love (144967) and the Everyday Label Punch (144668).  The gold strip behind is actually a sticker from Painted Love Gold vinyl stickers (145586).  You get four sheets of stickers (2 each of 2 designs.). They are gorgeous and add elegance to any project.

This box was designed to hold the new Whisper White narrow note cards and Envelopes which are part of the Painted with Love suite.  The finished size of the box is 4 7/8" x 3 5/8" and will hold four note cards and envelopes (145583).  It can also be used to hold treats or small gifts.

Let’s Celebrate Amazing You

My project today features my favorite stamp set from Sale-a-Bration (SAB) thus far.  It’s called Party Pandas (147221 clear mount) and can only be earned as a free item through March 31, 2018.  I started with a Berry Burst card base and stamped the confetti image from the stamp set in the matching ink around the edges.  No need to stamp the center as it's going to be covered.  My focal layer was sponged using a sponge dauber with Soft Sky for the sky area.  I used a blender pen with Lemon Lime Twist for the grass.  I stamped the Pandas directly on the Whisper White cardstock with Momento Tuxedo black ink.  That way I could use my Stampin' Blends to color in the hat and balloon.  The sentiment uses the Amazing You stamp set (147212) also from SAB and the coordinating framelits called Celebrate You thinlets (146840).  I die cut the word amazing from retired Blushing Bride glimmer paper, but you could use any of our glimmer papers or even foil papers with equally great results.

This card is for my amazing friend who has a birthday on the 22nd of this month.  I know she will love it.  Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to stop by my blog.  Please leave me a comment, I'd love to hear from you.  If you wish to order any of these products, click on the shopping cart and it will take you to my online line where you can place your order.  I'd love to earn your business.  I hope you have a creative day.

You’re Inspiring Labels to Love

My card for this week features a holiday favorite which has been carried over. It’s called Labels to Love (144967 clear mount) and has a coordinating Everyday Label Punch (144668).  The sentiment comes from a new stamp set from the Occasions mini catalog called You’re Inspiring (145808).  It can be found on page 31 and is very versatile with uses for Mother’s Day, Easter, birthdays and thinking of you cards.  Be sure to check it out.  My card base is Powder Pink with a layer of Petal Passion Designer Series Paper (DSP) (145589).  The flower images are from a free Sale-a-Bration stamp set called Amazing You (147215) only available with a $50 purchase through March 31, 2018.  I used my Stampin' Blends to color the flowers, then fussy cut them out.  If you haven't tried the Stampin' Blends markers, they are fantastic.  They are Stampin' Up!'s new alcohol markers released in November 2017.  They are so easy to color with and blend beautifully.  Even a novice like me, can color beautifully with them.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today, please feel free to leave me a comment.  I'd love to hear your thoughts.  If you would like to order any of the products I've used, please click on my shopping cart to the right.  It will take you directly to my online store where you can place your order.  I'd love to earn your business.  I hope you have a creative day.

Happy wishes painted with love heart card

This card features the Happy Wishes Sale-a-Bration free stamp set along with the new Painted with Love Speciality Designer Series Paper.  The heart on this card is made using a marker technique direct to the stamp, gently spritzed with water, then stamped on watercolor paper.  I used Sweet Sugarplum, Berry Burst and Rich Razzleberry markers to get the ombre look.  The secret to this technique is not to spray too much water onto your stamp.  It only takes one or two sprays to create the effect.  Be sure to let the stamp sit on the watercolor paper for a couple of minutes to absorb the liquid.  The stamp comes from the Sure Do Love You stamp set which can be found on page 19 of the 2018 Occassions catalog.  It also has a coordinating framelit set  Lots to Love Box framelits dies.  They can be purchased as a bundle to save you 10%.  I used the heart die to cut out my heart after stamping it.  The sentiment comes from Happy Wishes which can be earned for free when placing an order of $100.  I colored the flowers on it with my new Stampin' Blends markers along with the original Stampin' Write markers.  I hope you enjoy this card.  I used it as a make-n-take at my last workshop.

Party Panda 2018

Happy New Year everyone.  It’s been quite a long while since I’ve posted anything.  It seems Life is quite busy and blogging takes a bit of time.  I set it aside last year, but have been challenged to post weekly this year.  We’ll see how that goes.  My first project uses the Large Numbers framelits, the new Sale-a-bration stamp set Party Panda, We must Celebrate stamp set for the confetti and the happy. Both stamp sets will be available beginning January 3.

What is Sale-a-bration you ask?  It is only the best time of the Stampin’ Up! Year!  For every $50 spent on merchandise, before taxes or shipping, you earn a free item from the Sale-a-bration brochure.  It definitely doesn’t get any better than free and there are no limits to the amount of items you can earn for free.  I hope you enjoy my card and I wish for each of you a healthy and very happy new year.
