Oh My Fright interlocking triangular box

Hello and thank you for stopping by my blog today!  I have a clever little triangular box I saw Lauren Urbonis making and had to give it a try.  She had made hers for Christmas in July and I thought it would be nice to use the Oh My Fright bundle and make one for Halloween.  I changed one of the measurements slightly but overall, the box design is as she demonstrated it.   While it looks complicated, it's rather easy to make.  I chose to decorate all three box sides on my project, but you could definitely just decorate the center panel for the front of your box.  To watch the video tutorial over on my YouTube channel, click on this direct link.

Supplies and measurements:
Oh My Fright bundle* 168176 (includes stamps & coordinating dies)
Frightfully Fun DSP 168168 (I fussy cut a ghost & cat image from one sheet)
Basic Gray cardstock 2 pieces.  1 each of 4 1/8" x 11" & 3" x 3 1/2"
Score the 11" piece on the long side at 3 1/2", 7 and 10 1/2"
Score on the 4 1/8" side at 1 1/16" each end
On the smaller piece, place a tick mark in the center of the 3 1/2" side at 1 3/4", then cut from tick mark to the right bottom corner and then again from the same mark to the left bottom corner to form a triangle for the bottom of the box.
Granny Apple Green cardstock for layering base
    (3) pieces each 1 3/4" x 3 1/4"
    (3) pieces each 7/8" x 3 1/2"
DSP of your choosing (I made mine using Very Vanilla cardstock)
    (3) pieces each 1 1/2" x 3"
    (3) pieces each 5/8" x 3 1/2" (these will be full strips added to the cardstock with borders top & bottom)
Decorative Panels: Very Vanilla cardstock (3) each 1 1/4" x 2 3/4" if decorating all three panels.
Ink Pads:  Smoky Slate, Blackberry Bliss, Basic Beige & Black
Wink of Stella Glitter Brush 141897
Bats & Ghosts 168180
Basic White cardstock scrap for die cutting ghost
Very Vanilla cardstock scrap for bat
Blending brush 160518

I hope you love this box and that you will give it a try.  Be sure to watch the video where I show how it looks in a fall theme with upcoming new products.  You will find all the supplies I've used for this box in my online store by clicking the shopping cart to the right.  Thank you in advance for choosing me as your demonstrator.  I truly appreciate you.

Until next time; be happy, good health to you and happy stamping!

Sunset Coast quick and easy fun fold

Hello and welcome back to my blog!  Thanks so much for taking time from your busy day to spend a little with me.  I appreciate it so much!

For my card today I wanted to make a fun fold that would be quick and easy to put together.  I pulled out the Scenic Coast designer series paper (DSP), along with the Sunset Coast bundle.  I knew I wanted to use most of the 6" x 6" paper as it's so gorgeous.  While I was looking at cardstock, I saw a piece I had cut for another project that was 3 1/8" x 8 1/2" and already folded at 4 1/4".  That helped me decide on this particular fold, using up a piece I had prepared already.  I then figures out how I wanted to cut my DSP and started from there.  This card is the result and I think it turned out beautifully!  Don't you agree?

To see how easy it is to put this card together, be sure to watch the video tutorial over on my YouTube channel by clicking this link.

Supplies and measurements:
Sunset Coast bundle* 167781 (includes stamps and coordinating dies)
Scenic Coast 6" x 6" DSP 167773
    4 pieces: (2) 1" x 4 1/8", (1) 3" x 4 1/8" and 3/4" x 3" for inside layer
Secret Sea cardstock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" for card base & 2 3/4" x 3" for sailboat die cut
Basic Black cardstock scrap for die cutting birds
Basic Beige cardstock 3 1/8" x 8 1/2", scored in the center at 4 1/4"
Stamp Pads: Secret Sea, Timid Tiger, Crushed Curry, & Balmy Blue
Stampin' Positioner tool 167768 (very helpful for stamping on DSP)

Well, that's all for today.  Until next time; be happy, good health to you and happy stamping!

*Purchasing bundles saves 10% over the individual piece prices when combined.  You must use the bundle item code for the 10% bundle discount.  When purchasing Last Chance items; be sure to check if the individual piece prices are discounted.  Individual piece prices may be less expensive if the discounts are deep enough.

Graduation card 2026 with Balloon Festoon

For my card today I needed a couple of graduation cards but I didn't have any current graduation sets by Stampin' Up!  So, I improvised a bit and used the Balloon Festoon bundle along with Seasonal Celebrations which retired in April.  (Sadly, it's sold out but I encourage you to look through your stash for a graduation cap.  It's time to dust off those retired stamps and give them a little love.  You will also find a sneak peek of an embossing folder coming in the July Online Exclusives.  Of course, you can always use something you have on hand.  To watch the video tutorial on how I put my card together, be sure to click this link to head on over to YouTube.

Supplies and measurements:
Balloon Festoon bundle* 167606 (includes stamps and dies)
Seasonal Celebrations (for grad cap-sorry, retired.  Please use what you have or leave it off.)
Scalloped Wishes stamps (for happy graduation sentiment only) 167447 (can be purchased in a bundle* 167453 with coordinating dies.)
Sneak Peek alert! Swirls of Magic Embossing folder 168179 (July 2026 Online Exclusives coming 7/1)
Wonderful Stars Puffy Stickers 167526 (I used retired Shimmer Star Foam Stickers if you have them)
Gold Foil, #132622, 4" x 5 1/4"  & 3/4" x 3 5/8" strip for inside (again I used retired Brushed Silver & Gold foil I had on hand)
Two-tone and/or regular cardstock scraps for balloons in Real Read, Basic White and Basic Black
Basic Black cardstock scraps for embossing sentiments
Basic White cardstock 3 5/8" x 4 7/8" for inside layer
Basics WoW! Embossing powder (white) 165679
Ink Pads: Real Read, Basic Beige, VersaMark, Memento Tuxedo Black
Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon 165599, approx 16"

I hope you liked my card today and will give this a try using whatever supplies you currently have on hand to make a graduation card OR you could very easily make this one a birthday card or congratulations card.

Until next time; be happy, good health to you and happy stamping!
