Happy Thanksgiving Scalloped rectangle shaped card with hot foil

This card came about during a phone call to my friend when this idea popped into my head.  I wrote it down, finished my phone call, then came inside and went to work on the idea which involved a foiled brick wall, the little mouse, and leaves.  This is the final result.  During the working phase I decided to try to make a scalloped rectangle card...I will definitely be making more of those.  It's so easy to put together and it's something different than your every day card.

Be sure to watch the video tutorial for the scented pumpkin technique, inspired by Lisa Bowden, and how to put this card together.  You can find it over on my YouTube channel by clicking this direct link.

Cute ghostly trick or treat box

Today I've created a treat box using the Oh My Fright bundle by Stampin' Up! and mixing in an unexpected stamp set found in the hot foil category of my online store.  You do NOT need a hot foiling system to use the stamp set, it's meant to loosely coordinate with hot foil dies.  I think it's a highly useful background stamp set good for all types of occasions.  The size of this box will fit many treats including fun size, nuggets, kisses, caramels, and Dove to name some.  The finished inside box size is 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" x 1".  Overall height is approx 4 1/2".  You will find the video tutorial over on my YouTube channel by clicking this direct link.

Supplies and measurements:
Oh My Fright bundle* 168176 (includes stamps & dies)
Echoes of Detail stamp set 170046 (can be purchased in a bundle* 170049 with hot foil dies)

score on 5 1/2" side at 2 1/4" each end
score on 4 1/4" side at 1" each end, trim per the template above.
Secret Sea cardstock approx 2 1/2" x 4 3/4" for tag
Basic White cardstock approx 2 1/2" x 4 3/4" for tag

Until next time; be happy, good health to you and happy stamping!
