This is the final card of my watercoloring technique class from my live on Tuesday, 7-26-22. It's just a really fun card that shows off a variety of products and coloring techniques. You can watch how I created this look by watching my YouTube video here:
The focal image background is made using a stamped image from the watercolor stamp set for the sun, then I masked the sun and ink blended Orchid Oasis at the top and balmy blue ink at the bottom. The sentiment comes from Whale done and complements this image beautifully.For the inside of my card, I used ink blending to add balmy blue to the cardstock, then stamped images from Whale done in Orchid Oasis and So Saffron. The sentiment is also from Whale Done.
Supplies and measurements:
Card base: Balmy Blue cardstock 5 1/2 x 8 1/2” scored in center at 4 1/4”
Embossed layer: Orchid Oasis cardstock 4 x 5 1/4 embossed with Seashells 3D folder
Focal image layer: Basic White 3 1/8 x 4 3/8
Focal Image: Basic White cardstock 3 x 4 1/4”
Cardstock for die cuts in Balmy Blue, Orchid Oasis, So Saffron and thick Basic White
Adhesive Sheets for adding to So Saffron before die cutting goggles and snorkel
