Mixed Media meets Fright Night mash up card

I've made another card mashing up bundles from the Online Exclusives.  For this card I wanted to show that Fright Night is not just for Halloween.  It can make some beautiful cards that have nothing to do with Halloween at all.  I hope you like it and are inspired to give it a try.  To watch the video tutorial on how to put this card together, be sure to head on over to my YouTube channel.

Supplies and Measurements:
Fright Night bundle* 166107 (includes stamps and coordinating dies)
Mixed Florals bundle* 164642 (includes stamps and coordinating dies)
Beautiful Motifs stamp set 165198 (available in a bundle with dies)
Basic Beige cardstock for stamping & die cutting images & inside layer 4" x 5 1/4"
Old Olive cardstock for card base 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored in center at 4 1/4"
Woven Textures DSP, 4" x 5 1/4" & 1/2" x 4 1/4" for inside layer (optional)
Linen Thread
Ink Pads: Calypso Coral, Early Espresso and Tuxedo Memento Black
Stampin' Blends alcohol markers: Calypso Coral, Darling Duckling, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Natural Tones Deep combo SU 100 & SU 200

I hope you have enjoyed today's card.  I had so much fun using the Fright Night bundle for uses other than Halloween and seeing how it all pulled together into this beautiful card.  The tags in the dies are very useful for any purpose.  Next up is to make a treat box using them!

Until next time; be happy, good health to you and happy stamping!

Hello again.  I'm so glad you are here.  For today's project, I'm continuing my fold-flat box series, this time, I've redesigned the box to fit on a 1/2 sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock.  I love maximizing my paper, so I usually try to make boxes sized to make two from a single sheet of cardstock.  I've used some of the newly released July Online Exclusives for my box today.  I also showed a Halloween version in my video tutorial.  Be sure to watch the replay over on my YouTube  channel.

Jar of Joy Fold Flat Box

For my share today, I have a fold flat box that you can make now and save for later to fill as it takes up very little storage space.  I've combine a couple of stamp sets that weren't necessarily intended to be used together along with some die sets.  This goes along with the #CreativeChallengeSU for the month of July.  Let's get started by watching the video tutorial over on my YouTube

Measurements and Supplies:

I hope you find these fold flat boxes useful.  I love the idea that you can make now, then fill and give later without taking up a bunch of room storing them.  Stay tuned on Saturday for a Halloween themed box.

Today is the start of a three-day sale on all two-tone cardstock at 20% off with no limits and while supplies last.  Hurry over to my online store (click on the shopping cart) and check it out.  Some colors will sell out faster than others.

Celebrate card with a mash up of bundles by Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome back to my blog.  Today's project is a mash up of some new products by Stampin' Up!  I've taken the Cheers & Sips bundle and added in the Beautiful Motifs bundle to make this card.  Unique and quite striking don't you agree?  I used the drink with the umbrella because it reminded me of a time when my elderly neighbor and friend (more like my adoped grandpa) would make Shirley Temples for my girls and myself on a hot summer day.  He's been gone quite some time now and I miss him every day.   It brings back such wonderful memories and a smile for my heart.  To watch the video tutorial, head on over to my YouTube channel.  I'll teach you how to make it.

Measurements and Supplies:
Cheers & Sips bundle* 165594 (includes stamps and coordinating dies)
Beautiful Motifs bundle* 165206 (includes stamps & coordinating dies)
Everyday Arches dies 164629 (can be purchased in a bundle with coordinating stamps)
More Messages die 165472 (can be purchased in a bundle with coordinating stamp)
Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots 166139
Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper 165586 (cut glasses from one of the sheets)
Basic White Thick cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored in center at 4 1/4" for card base
Basic White cardstock for stamping/die cutting & inside layer 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"
Cloud Cover cardstock 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"
Secret Sea two-tone cardstock for die cutting foliage
Ink Pads: Pretty in Pink, Cloud Cover, Blackberry Bliss, Berry Burst, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive
Stampin' Blends alcohol markers: Old Olive, Strawberry Slush, Berry Burst, Blackberry Bliss

I think today's card can be used for so many celebratory occasions.  I will add an appropriate sentiment inside the card once I get ready to send it off.  I hope you will give this a try.  Hopefully, you purchased these bundles last month while they were on sale.  If not, they are still available in my online store.  Click on the shopping cart to purchase all of your Stampin' Up! supplies.  I would love it if I could earn your business.

Until next time; be happy, good health to you and happy stamping!

Double flap top fold-over gift card box

Today’s project was inspired by Stampin’ Up!®️ staff who presented a similar box during a recent demonstrator event I attended.  I resized their box so that it would fit a gift card and you could still get two from a sheet to 8 1/2” x 11” cardstock.  I hope you find the box useful.  You could decorate with anything you have on hand for any occasion. It’s pretty quick and very easy to make.  I’m using my featured bundle this week, Poppin’ By, to decorate mine.  You can watch the video replay over on my YouTube channel.

Supplies and Measurements:
Poppin' By bundle* 165489 (includes stamps & dies)

Poppin' in to say hello book fold wreath

This week I'm featuring one of the Online Exclusives bundles I just had to have as soon as I saw it.  My daughter asked me to make a gift card box for my grandson last Christmas as she was giving him a movie theater gift card.  I didn't have any stamps, so I had to seriously improvise.  This year, I won't have to do that with this set!  It's so cute and fun.  I was inspired during a Stampin' Up! demonstrator event with a wreath card I saw.  While I'm not using the set they showed, I was inspired to make a wreath with the popcorn pieces.  I do love how it turned out.  I don't think I would have thought to make the wreath if I hadn't seen that presentation.  If you would like to see how I put this card together, you can watch the video tutorial over on my YouTube channel.

Supplies and measurements:
Poppin' By bundle* 165489 (includes stamps & dies)
Spotlight on Nature dies 163580 (can be purchased in a bundle)
2025-2027 In Color 6x6" DSP 165300 (Strawberry Slush splatter pattern)
    1 piece = 1" x 4", 1 piece = 4" x 4"
Basic Black cardstock 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2" & 6 3/4" for card base
Basic White for stamping and inside layer 4" x 4"
Daffodil Delight two-tone cardstock 166669
Basic Black & Shy Shamrock scraps for glasses & sneaker die cuts
Ink Pads: Strawberry Slush, Daffodil Delight, Memento Tuxedo Black
Pack Your Bags Twine three-pack 165582 (Strawberry Slush)
Baker's Twine Essentials pack 155475 (Basic Black)
Wink of Stella glitter brush 141897

I hope you like this card.  Of course, you could use any stamps you currently have on hand and make this fun fold and a wreath.  It's one of the easiest fun folds and works the best for wreaths as it features  a square card on the right side perfect for showcasing a small wreath.

Until next time; be happy, good health to you and happy stamping!
