Turtle-y Grateful For You all year

For my card today, I've made a card that is both quick and easy.  It has very little stamping and uses mostly Designer Series Paper for the decorations.  When I was making it, I was thinking that it could be a Father's Day card, but for those who don't have father's, it could be for any BBQ chef in your life.  To see how easy it is to put together, be sure to watch the video replay over on my YouTube channel.

Measurements and Supplies:
Textured Notes dies 165555
Around It All dies 164725
Turtle-y Cute Designer Series Paper, 4 x 5 1/4" approx. & images fussy cut
Basic White cardstock for smaller circle & sentiment
Thick Basic White cardstock, 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored in center at 4 1/4" for card base
Darling Duckling cardstock, 1" x 4 1/2"
Shades of Green Hexagons 165233
Ink Pads: Darling Duckling, Memento Tuxedo Black
Blending Brushes 160518

I hope you have enjoyed seeing how quick and easy this card is and doesn't take all that many supplies.  Until next time; be happy, good health to you and happy stamping!

Turtle-y Awesome June birthday card

This week I am playing with the Turtle-y Cute suite of products.  I didn't want to make just any birthday card though, I wanted to make it specific to the recipient because that makes it more personal.  So, what better bundle to use than Year of Flowers?  I found the flowers in the stamp set to coordinate perfectly with the turtles as if they were meant to be.  To see how I've put this card together, be sure to head on over to my YouTube channel where you can watch the video replay.

Measurements and Supplies:
Turtle-y Awesome bundle* 165229 (includes stamps 165223 & coordinating dies 165228)
Turtle Textures Embossing Folder 165232
Perennial Postage dies 162607
Stylish Shapes dies 159183
Shades of Green Hexagons 165233
Thick Basic White cardstock for card base, 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored in center at 4 1/4"
Basic White cardstock 3 1/2" x 4 3/4", inside layer (optional) 3 5/8" x 4 7/8
& 1/2 sheet for stamping images
Ink Pads: Coastal Cabana, Lemon Lolly, Summer Splash, Tuxedo Memento Black
Stampin' Blends alcohol markers: Shy Shamrock, Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, Summer Splash, Lemon Lolly, Soft Sea Foam, Color Lifter
Watercolor Pencils Asst. 2 #149014: Coastal Cabana
Stampin' Write Marker: Crushed Curry
Blending Brushes 160518

I sure hope you have enjoyed today's card.  I'm sure the recipient will be loving it.  Making my cards personal for my friends and family is important to me and by combining these two sets in an unexpected way does just that.

Until next time; be happy, good health and happy stamping!

Cutest Cows meets Impressions Abloom in a cookie box

I have a treat box today which uses new product, Impressions Abloom, and mixes with older product, Cutest Cows, (currently in the last chance category in my online store and discounted.)   I had purchased a large box of limited-edition Keebler®️ butterbeer flavored mini cookies.  I finally got around to making a box for them.  I had a hard time because of the Harry Potter theme and not having any supplies for that.  So I had this great idea last night (at least I thought it was) to combine the Impressions Abloom flowers with the milk can and cow as butter is made from milk products and butter is used in the making of butterscotch.  I know, its a stretch but it did turn out pretty cute don't you think?  You can watch the video tutorial on making this box over on my YouTube channel.

Measurements and Supplies:
Cutest Cows stamps 162892 & Cutest Cows builder punch 162896 (last chance item while supplies last)

2025-2027 In Color 6"x6" DSP #165300, Strawberry Slush background 4 1/4" x 5"
Basic Black cardstock, 8 1/4" x 12" for box & scrap for sentiment label)

Sending good vibes two-tone floral card

For my card today, I've focused on using the new two-tone cardstock that Stampin' Up! has recently released in all our colors.  I thought I'd give it a try and show my customers how it looks and what you can do with it.  I do love the options for two colors of cardstock from the same sheet of paper.  On my card today, I've used the Petunia Pop & Old Olive two-tone.  Because the two-tone cardstock has a white core (as compared to our dyed-through 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock) you can do some fun techniques with it.  Be sure to watch the video replay over on my YouTube channel.

Measurements and Supplies:
Impressions Abloom bundle* 165617 (includes stamps 165605 & coordinating dies 165610)
Stylish Shapes dies 159183
