Humble Home Merry Christmas card

For my card today, I’ve combined a couple of bundles to make this Christmas card.  I could have used a sentiment from Humble Home, but it just didn’t fit my vision, so I pulled in the Peaceful Seasons bundle.  It is a must have sentiment and coordinating die bundle for the holidays in my opinion.  to see how I've put this card together, watch the video replay over on my YouTube channel.

Supplies and Measurements:
Humble Home bundle 164094* (includes stamps 164286 and coordinating punch 164093)
Peaceful Seasons bundle 164021 (includes stamps 164145 & coordinating dies 164020)
Timber 3D Embossing Folder 156406
Festive Glimmer Paper 164107 (scrap of Cherry Cobbler)
Sentimental Christmas DSP 164209) 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" tree print
Basic White Thick cardstock for card base, 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored in center at 4 1/4"
Basic White cardstock, 4 1/8" x 5 3/8", scraps for stamping, & inside layer 3 1/4" x 4 1/2"
Ink Pads: Pretty Peacock, Smoky Slate, Cherry Cobbler, Lost Lagoon
Stampin' Blends alcohol markers: Pretty Peacock, Dk Lost Lagoon, Cherry Cobbler, Lt Lemon Lolly
Petal Pink & Pretty Peacock Foil Gems 162587
Blending Brush 160518
Glass Mat Studio (optional for ink blending, but definitely very useful in your craft space) 163987

I want to thank you and let you know how grateful I am for taking time from your busy day to support my small business.  It's a small thing, but makes a big impact, especially when you like and share it with your craft friends.

Until next time; be happy, stay healthy and happy stamping!

Happy day Thanksgiving Eve to everyone here in the US.  I hope you have a wonderful holiday season filled with love, laughter, family and friends.

For my project today, I've made a holiday light string using fairy lights and the Humble Home bundle.  This is not my original idea, I've recreated it from a string I saw by Anna Wheaton.  What an awesome idea it is, I just had to recreate it for you.  Of course, I've done mine a little different.  Be sure to watch the video replay to see how I've put it together.  You will find it on my YouTube channel where I share some tips and tricks to make this little gem more easily.

Supplies and Measurements:
Humble Home bundle 164094* (includes stamps 164286 and coordinating punch 164093)
Pecan Pie cardstock, (2) 8 1/2" x 11" sheets, cut each sheet into 2 1/8" x 11" strips
Basic White cardstock for stamping 20 wreaths.
Pecan Pie ink pad, VersaMark Watermark ink pad
Basics WOW! embossing powder pack (Opaque Bright White)
Embossing Additions Tool Kit 159971
Wink of Stella Glitter Brush 141897
Real Red & White adhesive-backed Peppermints 164050
Vellum cardstock
1 inch circle punch
Adhesives: mini glue dots, Stampin' Dimensionals
fairy string light set with 20 lights (non Stampin' Up!)

I hope you like this project and will give it a try.  I've had a lot of fun making them and am very thankful Anne Wheaton shared it with her fellow demonstrators so I could share it with you.

Until next time; be happy, stay healthy and happy stamping!

Ice skating birthday card with Dear Santa

For my final project this week, I've used Dear Santa and Forever Forest (along with some other things) to make a cute little birthday card for the young at heart.  My grandson's 18th birthday is coming up and this little guy reminds me so much of him the first time we took him ice skating in Disneyland at Olaf's Skating Rink.  Such great memories!  I've used a new technique with the Pearlized Enamel Effects to make the snow on my mountain tops.  To see how I've put this card together, be sure to watch the replay over on my YouTube channel.

Naughty & Nice Fun Fold pocket gift card holder

For my card today, I'm using Naughty and Nice from the Online Exclusives section of my Stampin' Up! online store.  When I started, I wanted a card that was more than a card, yet still quick and simple to put together.  This card came about from a tag I made.  I showed that tag to my oldest granddaughter, who exclaimed Santa tags!  Well, that meant I couldn't very well show how to make the exact card so......I thought about how to change the tag and make a card with it....this is the result of my thought process.  I hope you find it useful.  Of course, you can change this layout to fit any occasion just by changing the stamps and colors.

To see how I've put this card together, be sure to watch the video replay over on my YouTube channel.

Supplies & Measurements:
Naughty & Nice stamp set 164358
Seasons of the Greetings bundle 164113* (includes stamps 164325 and dies 164112)

Basic White cardstock for stamping and die cutting & inside piece 3" x 4"
Take a Bow 6x6 DSP, 2 pieces 1" x 4 1/8"
Bubble Bath cardstock 3 1/4" x 8 1/2", scored in center at 4 1/4"

Shepherd's Care Peace on Earth sentiment card with a twist

Hello everyone.  This week I am not featuring any specific product.  I've been in a bit of a creative slump, so I'm just going where my creativity takes me with whatever products I happen to be inspired by.  Today's card features Shepherd's Care from the SD 2024 mini catalog by Stampin' Up!

For my card, I wanted the Shepherd's stamp to be the star of the show.  I also wanted to make a card that I could quickly and easily duplicate.  Of course, the quick and simple never seems to be quite within my grasp....I just can't stop and so the sentiment label came about here.  I didn't want to alter to the label die cut to fit my sentiment and when I put it on the card, the idea came to me to stamp a partial image to the left of the sentiment so it would look as if it's part of the scene.  I hope you like this technique as I'll probably be using it more often.

To see how I made this card and the special way I did the sentiment label to blend in with the scene, be sure to watch the video replay over on my YouTube channel.

Supplies and Measurements:
Shepherd's Care stamp set 164300
Changing Leaves dies 164138 (for sentiment label)
Misty Moonlight card stock, 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored in center at 4 1/4" for card base.
Sentimental Christmas 12 x 12 DSP 164209 ($3 of every purchase is donated to a literacy charity for         kids) 4" x 5 1/4"
Night of Navy cardstock, 3 3/8" x 4 5/8"
Basic White cardstock 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" for focal image, scrap for sentiment label and 3 5/8" x 4 7/8" for     inside layer.
Ink Pads: Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight, Crumb Cake and VersaMark watermark
Iridescent Faceted Gems 163368
Blending Brush
Basics WOW! embossing powders 165679 (clear)
heat tool
stamp positioner tool

I hope you like this card and that you will give it a try.  The layout is pretty basic and I think that helps the image to pop!

Until next time; be happy, stay healthy and happy stamping!
