Pretty Petals for you treat bag

I recently attended the Stampin' Up! Convention in Salt Lake City.  We began our journey By flying into Las Vegas, then drove up to Salt Lake  stopping at Brice Canyon National Park.  Of course, the Las Vegas trip entailed a visit to m&m World.....my favorite store in Vegas!  I purchased some silicone coasters to share with my co-workers.  I couldn't just give them each a coaster without packaging them up so this project was born,  I love the way they turned out and so did my co-workers.

These bags were made with the mini treat bag Thinlet die.  They are so simple to make and fit the m&m coasters perfectly.  I used the pretty petals 6x6 designer series paper stack.  The tags were made using the triple banner punch and stamped with the Awesomely Artistic stamp set.  The for you also comes from the mini treat bag Thinlet dies.  The sentiment is from A Dozen thoughts.  Cardstock is basic black, mint macaron and calypso coral.  All products used are by Stampin' Up!

Grateful Vintage Leaves Sneaky Box

This box was inspired by Sam Donald of Pootles Papercrafts.  She created the box design and has a video tutorial on the instructions.  You can find it on YouTube by searching for sneaking box with flush fitting lid.  I loved it and decided to make a fall leaf version.  I stamped the top of the Box with the Vintage Leaves stamp set.  I love this set and it has matching Framelits!  You can purchase them separately or in a money saving bundle.  Who wouldn't want to save money, right?  I used the baby wipe technique to make the variegated colors on the leaves.  The cardstock for the top is Tip top taupe, a 2015-17 In color.  This has quickly become one of my most used neutral color.  The base of the box is made in Cajun craze.  I stamped the leaves for the focal image then cut them out with the matching Framelits.  I then sprayed them with alcohol and crumpled them to give them texture.  I tied the three leaves with linen thread.  The sentiment comes from endless thanks, as well as the banner.  I hand cut the banner out.  I hope you will try making one.  Thanks for taking the time out of your busy day to stop by!

Vintage Leaves butterfly thank you card

Oh how I love butterflies and leaves, so naturally, I couldn't wait to put them together.  This card uses the Bold Butterfly Framelits and Butterflies Thinlets.  I cut the solid butterfly images from the new black glimmer paper which will be available beginning September 1st in the holiday catalog by Stampin' Up!  The intricate butterflies were cut from a piece of whisper white cardstock sponged with  Cajun craze, rich razzleberry, cherry cobbler and crushed curry inks.  I finished them off with some pearl basic jewels.  I love the way they turned out.  I made my own stamp pad using the baby wipe technique in a plastic container to ink the leaf background.  It's stamped with the Vintage Leaves stamp set in the annual catalog.  The sentiment is stamped using Endless Thanks inside the frame from Awesomely Artistic and cut utilizing the Project Life Cards and Labels Framelits.  My card base is in Rich Razzleberry.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope your inspired to create something today.

The window is made using the Hearth and Home Thinlet dies and the scene is the background is stamped with Happy Scenes stamp set.  The thinlets and stamp set can be purchased in a bundle to save you money.

The ribbon, button and gold cord are also from the holiday collection.  The sentiment is from a new stamp set called Versatile Christmas.  The little holly sprigs are from another set called A Little Something.  It's bundled with a pillow box Thinlet die.  I cut the sentiment out using the Chalk Talk framelits.  The base of the cards is Very Vanilla card stock.  Hope you are inspired.  Be sure to check back each week to see what's new. Happy Halloween Scene DSP challenge card

This card uses the new Happy Scenes stamp set by Stampin' Up and the coordinating Hearth and Home Thinlets dies.  You can purchase them in a bundle and save 15%.  Who wanted like that?  the focal image on this card features direct ink to paper utilizing sponge daubers.  I first stamped my image.  I colored the pumpkins and leaves with markers.  I then began sponging at the bottom, layering colors.  I started with Mossy Meadow, added Delightful Dijon, Crushed Curry, Tangelo Twist, Cajun Craze, Night of Navy, Island Indigo and Basic Black.  The stars were created using the Uni-ball Signo white gel pen.  I cut my window frame out of chocolate chip cardstock and added the focal image to the back.  I then used A piece of DSP from the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper stack to look like wallpaper.  I added a piece of Into the Woods cotton ribbon (Rich Razzleberry) along the end of the DSP.  I then added the focal image to the card using stampin' dimensionals.  The spider web and the sentiment are all from the Happy Scenes stamp set.  I hope this card inspires you.  The stamps, dies and ribbon are sneak peaks from the upcoming holiday catalog available to customers on September 1, 2015.  If you would like to order, please use the shopping cart on the right hand side of this page.
