Whale of a Time ocean scene thank you

My card for you today uses the Whale of a Time suite (154126) from Stampin’ Up!  This is a beautiful suite of products that includes ribbon, Designer Series Paper, sequins, a 3D embossing folder, stamps and a punch.  These products can be purchased as a suite, as a bundle or individually depending on your desires.  I began with an A2 card base in just jade,  I embossed a piece of balmy blue cards stock with the Seabed 3D (152700 ) embossing folder (stunningly beautiful in my opinion), cut it to 4 x 5 1/4” then spritzed with champagne mist shimmer paint mixed with rubbing alcohol.  To this I added a layer of the Whale of a Time Designer Series Paper (152460) cut at 2 x 3 1/4”.  I then stamped two seahorses and the coral and kelp on whisper white.  These images are from the Whale Done stamp set (152470).  It can also be purchased in a bundle (154053) with the Whale punch to save 10%, although we did not use the punch today.  The seahorse is stamped in balmy blue, then thumped with  a Stampin’ write marker in misty moonlight to create the two-toned color on him.  I used the same method on all of my images to create a multi-dimensional image.  For the second seahorse, I stamped in bumblebee ink and thumped in calypso coral.  The kelp is stamped in pool party ink and thumped in pretty peacock.  For the coral, I stamped in calypso coral ink and thumped in cajun craze.  I added a piece of pool party sheer ribbon to the embossed layer and tied a bow.  I then added my sentiment on top of the ribbon.  This piece is cut at 1 1/2 x 3/4” and stamped just jade and thumped with pretty peacock.  I did have to fussy cut the images as the stamp set does not have coordinating dies.  For the finishing touch, I added sequins from the Whale of a Time sequins (152461).

I love how it turned out.  If you would like to purchase any of these products or any additional Stampin’ Up! Happy stamping,
Teresa
