I am loving the Home for Christmas designer series paper from the new Stampin' Up holiday catalog. Here I've cut out the individual deer by hand and put them on tags made using the ornate tag topper punch. For the background scenes I used the White Christmas stamp set from the annual catalog along with the Happy Scenes stamp set from the holiday catalog. The beautiful striped ribbon is also from the holiday catalog. All products are available for purchase between 09-01-15 and 01-04-16. I sponged night of navy, island indigo and black inks for the night sky effect. These tags were so much fun to create and will make a great gift tag for someone. I hope I've inspired you today. Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to stop by and look. To purchase any items I've used today, click on the shopping cart to the right.

Nutcracker Sparkly Seasons snow globe card
Wahoo! The Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini catalog is now available for everyone. This year's catalog is spectacular. My granddaughter is involved in ballet and every Christmas they put on the Nutcracker for a winter recital. When I saw the Sparkly Seasons stamp set and matching framelit bundle (Seasonal Frame thinlets die), I knew that had to be one of the first bundles on my list. I created this shaker card (my first one ever by the way) with the bundle. It took quite a bit of finagling, but it was well worth it. I embossed the card base with the Gently Falling 6x6 embossing folder. The falls is cut with the framelits in the bundle as well as the inner circle for the shaker part. The outside used the 2 1/2" punch I think. I stamped the globe base on whisper white, cut it out then stamped the hardwood background stamp over it with early espresso. I masked the nutcracker as to pull him out of the stamp all by himself. The sentiment is also from happy scenes and was gold embossed on a piece of mossy meadow card stock and punched out with the Washi label punch. Now to make one more so each of her ballet instructors will get one. Thanks for stopping by. If you'd like to purchase any of the items I've used today, just click on the shopping cart to the right. If you don't have a demonstrator and would like a catalog, please let me know. I'd be happy to get you one. Thanks for stopping by today.
