Cheerful Daisies, Petal Park birthday card

Happy Saturday everyone!  It’s supposed to be quite warm here today.  We’ve had some very nice weather the past few days.  I’ve really been enjoying some time on the deck soaking in the Vitamin D.  For my card today, I am mixing Petal Park and the Cheerful Daisies bundle.  My favorite stamps in Petal Park are those two step leaf arrangements.  I couldn’t wait to try them with the daisies.  They set the die cut daisies off perfectly.  I hope you are inspired to make something with your Daisy stamp set or you can purchase this bundle in my online store if you need it here:

You can watch the video replay of my live card tutorial over on my YouTube channel HERE:

Flowers of Friendship 1 piece of DSP makes 2 cards

Today’s Project really is two cards made from one piece of 3” x 4” Designer Series Paper.  I hope you like the projects.  I participated in a mystery stamping game with Marisa Alvarez of Kitchen Table Stamper last week.  This layout is the one she used.  I have used different stamps and things to create this card, simply using the clues I was given at the time.  You can watch the replay of my projects on my YouTube channel here.

To start, you'll need a 3 x 4" piece of patterned paper, preferably non-directional.  With the 4" side across the top, mark on the left side using a ruler and pencil 1 1/4" down the left side.  Then down the right side, mark at 2 1/4".  Place on your trimmer with one mark in the cutting track at the top, and the other mark in the cutting track at the bottom.  Then cut from mark to mark.  This will give you two pieces of DSP to use on your cards.  I placed my pieces at the top of each card; however, you could place them both at the bottom of your two cards or one at the top and the other at the bottom.  It's really whatever you prefer.  Then you can decorate however you would like.  This is how I chose to decorate mine.  I hope you like them.

Hey Love lollipop treat holder

I put together these treat holders after seeing a video by Darcy of Rejoice and Create.  You can check out her video over on YouTube.  I decided to use up some retired Designer Series Paper I had on hand.  I made up 34 lollipop holders.  I then decorated them with the Hey Love stamp set by Stampin’ Up! using the skunk and crocodile (or alligator) from the set.  I colored them using my Stampin’ Blends markers (which I absolutely love).  Colors used are Balmy Blue combo, Lovely Lipstick light, Granny Apple Green combo, Basic Black combo, Smokey Slate light and Ivory markers.  I fussy cut out each critter and mounted on a heart cut with the Be Mine Stitched framelits in Real Red.  The sentiment is also from Hey Love and stamped in Momento tuxedo black ink on Whisper White as are the critters.

Here is a closer look at the critters.  To ensure I didn’t lose the facial features of the skunk, I used the Stamperatus to stamp each skunk on a square piece of cardstock big enough to stamp four by rotating the cardstock then stamping until all four were on the cardstock.  I then colored each skunk and after I was finished coloring, I put the squares back on my Stamperatus and restarted each skunk, thereby ensuring the facial features were not lost in the coloring.  It also gave more definition to the body.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope I’ve inspired you to do something creative.  Please leave me a comment, I would love to hear from you.  If you would like to purchase any supplies, please click on the shopping cart in the upper right.  It will take you directly to my online store.  Happy stamping!

You make me happy notecard

For today’s project, I used the Whisper White notecards and envelopes which are found on page 193 of the annual card.  This card is #simplestamping and makes a great card for Valentines, an anniversary or just because.  It’s so easy and quick to put together.  I started with a notecard, added a layer of Designer Series Paper from the Tropical Escape 6x6 Designer Series Paper stack then stamped my focal image and sentiment from the Meant to Be stamp set on a piece of Whisper White cardstock in Momento tuxedo black ink and colored it in with my Stampin’ Blends markers.  The colors I used were Flirty Flamingo, Lovely Lipstick and Call Me Clover.  Super simple and quick.  I used my Stamperatus for perfect placement of the sentiment.

The inside image is from the same stamp set and I used the same piece of Designer Series Paper to decorate the envelope.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.  I hope I’ve inspired you in some way to be creative.  Please leave me a comment, I’d love to hear from you.  If you would like to purchase any of the products I’ve used today, click on the shopping cart in the upper right.  Remember, during Sale-a-Bration for each $50 increment in product you purchase, you receive one free level one Sale-a-Bration item.  If you purchase $100, you can choose, two level one OR a level two Sale-a-Bration item.  Sale-a-Bration runs until March 31.

You're Inspiring Mother's Day card

I made two of these cards for my mom and mother-in-law for Mother's Day this year.   The card base is from the Tutti Frutti cards and envelopes which were part of the 2018 SAB promotion which has since ended.  This card features the hinge step stamping technique technique utilizing the Stamperatus  which can be seen here.  This awesome new tool will be available in the 2018-2019 annual catalog and is an amazing new stamp positioning tool.   The sentiment is from Blossoming Basket which is no longer available; however, you could use any sentiment you already have on hand.  The daffodils are from a stamp set called You're Inspiring 145808 and are colored using our new Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.  I used light and dark Daffodil Delight 144603 and light and dark Old Olive 144597 as well as a touch of light Pumpkin Pie 144599.   The sentiment is stamped in Pool Party ink 126982 on Whisper White cardstock 100730.
Isn't that ribbon lovely?  It's the 1/4" Whisper White organza ribbon 145590 colored with a light Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend marker.  You can color any whisper white ribbon with Stampin' Blends markers quickly and easily.  I love having the versatility of that!

I hope you were inspired by my project today.  Please leave me a comment.  If you would like to purchase any of the items used today, please visit my online store by clicking on the shopping basket.  I would love to earn your business.  Thanks for stopping by.
