Happy Hedgehog birthday sneak peek

Happy New Year everyone!  I hope you have a wonderful start to the new year.

Today's the second card of my Happy Hedgehog sneak peeks.  This stamp set and the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Special Moments will be available beginning January 4, 2022.  I hope you like it.  I didn't use the hedgehogs on this card at all.  I wanted to show how to make a #simplestamping card using only stamps, ink and paper; along with a Sale-A-Bration product.  In addition, I wanted to show the versatility of the stamp set.  If you have been following me, you will know that #simplestamping is a difficult challenge for me.  This one I think, really meets the parameters.  You can see how I put this card together, along with the card from my post on December 29, 2021, over on my YouTube channel here:  https://youtu.be/bNQWgPHSfmc

A look at the inside of the card is below.

February Paper Pumpkin alternative

Today’s project features the large stamp from the February 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit.  I used the envelope from the kit as Designer Series Paper on the front of my card which I added to a white card base.  The sentiment strip is the reverse side of the envelope or the inside of it.  I stamped it with Pretty Peacock ink.  To color my flower, I used a mixture of stampin blends and water coloring.  The flower is stamped on shimmery white cardstock.  I was inspired by Chelsey Christensen, also known as Creative Chelsey.  The sentiment comes from a coordinating Sale-a-Bration stamp set called Happy Birthday which you can earn for free.....now who doesn’t love free?
Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I really appreciate you taking time from your busy day.  If you would like to purchase any items today, you can click on the shopping cart to the right.  It will take you directly to my online store.  Through March 31, 2020, you can earn free items with each $50 you spend, no limit to the amount of free items you can get.  If you would like to order a Paper Pumpkin subscription kit which is an all-inclusive paper crafting kit delivered to your door each month, please use this link to sign up.  https://www.paperpumpkin.com/en-us/sign-up/?demoid=2109129 I would really appreciate your business.

Unique Lovely Lily Pad card

Today’s project was inspired by a video I watched (sorry, I can’t remember who).  It features the Sale-a-Bration free stamp set called Lovely Lily Pad (152288).  It can’t be purchased, but can only be earned for free with a $50 purchase.  In any case, she took the medium lily and stamped it in multiple directions to make a new unique flower.  I loved how it turned out and immediately had to try it out.  This card is the result.  I first diecut a piece of whisper white card stock using the Stitched So Sweetly dies (151690).  I then stamped the medium lily using Memento Tuxedo Black ink (north), then flipped the stamp upside down (south) and lined it up so the bottom was touching the bottom of the previously stamped image.  Next, I stamped the image on a piece of sticky note paper with two thicknesses, then fussy cut it out just inside the outline to form a mask.  I used these masks to place over the two images I stamped on my cardstock.  I then stamped the lily two more times in the openings to the east and west of the masks.  You will have stamped the image four times (north, south, east and west) to form the new flower image.  Very clever right?  I then repeated this process randomly to fill my diecut.  Using my stamping blends, I then colored the images.  The ink pads in the second photo are the colors of blends I used.  I mounted my focal image on a piece of basic black cardstock.  I cut a layer of Follow your Art Designer Series Paper (149489) for the base layer and tied a piece of the Polka Dot Tulle ribbon (146912) around the piece before mounting it to an A2 size card base in basic black.  I left it without a sentiment so I can add it later and use for any occasion.  This card is perfect for a birthday, anniversary, wedding, just because and even sympathy.

Stampin’ blends Used:  Lovely Lipstick light 147026, Rococo Rose combo 149572, Pineapple Punch combo 147280 and Mango Melody dark 147944.

I hope I’ve inspired you today to create something of your own.  Thank you for taking time from your busy day to stop by my blog.  Should you wish to purchase any of the supplies I’ve used, please click on the shopping card to the right.  It will take you directly to my online store where you can shop 24/7 for all your supplies.  Remember, through March 31, 2020 it is Sale-a-Bration where you can earn a free item with every $50 increment you spend.  I would love to earn your business.

Until next time, make it a great day and happy stamping.

Thoughtful Blooms Stone Thank You card

Hello, I’m back after a long absence.  Life has been crazy busy and something had to give.  Things are better and it’s time to get back to blogging.  Hopefully, I can keep the momentum going.  Today’s card is one I made using several Sale-a-Bration products which are available through the end of March 2020 with a qualifying order.  For every $50 increment you spend, you earn a free Sale-a-Bration item of your choice.  This card uses the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set, small bloom punch and stone embossing folder which is part of the Power of Hope Bundle.  The small bloom punch will be available for purchase in the upcoming 2020-2021 annual catalog.  In addition, I used the bee stamp from the January Paper Pumpkin (if you don’t have this set, you could use a bee from the Honey Bee stamp set (151527) which can be purchased separately, or as part of a bundle which includes coordinating dies (153792).  Colors used on this card are coastal cabana, early espresso, pineapple punch, so saffron and calypso coral.  The sentiment is from Label Me Bold (151631).  This set was inspired by Million Dollar Sales Achiever Jasmin Schulz.  Focal images are on a diecut from the Nature’s Thought dies (153586) which are part of the Coordination Product release available through March 31.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my post today and that I’ve inspired you to make a send a card to someone you know.  Thank you for taking time from our busy day to stop by my blog. Wishing You Well tulip wreath card

Today's project uses one of my absolute favorite background stamps.  It's the buffalo check 147794 and I stamped it on a piece of balmy blue cardstock cut at 5 1/4" by 4" with night of navy.  Piece is layered on a thick whisper white A2 card base.  The focal image is stamped on a piece of regular whisper white cardstock which has been cut at 3 3/4" x 5.  I stamped the wreath from the Wishing You Well 147864 stamp set which is a carryover from the 2018 holiday catalog.  The tulips are stamped in lovely lipstick and come from the Vibrant Vases 148656.  They are punched out with the coordinating Vase Builder punch 147040.  The bow on this wreath is also part of the Wishing You Well stamp set.  This set is one of Stampin' Up!'s new Distinkive sets that are photo realistic and absolutely amazing.  The sentiment comes from the FREE Sale-a-bration stamp set called Part of My Story.  You can earn this with a $50 qualifying purchase through March 31, 2019.

I absolutely love how this card turned out.  It looks so bright and springy!  If you would like to purchase any of the supplies I've used today, please click on the shopping basket link.  It will take you directly to my online store where you can shop 24/7.  I'd love to earn your business and be your Stampin' Up! demonstrator if you don't already have one.

Painted Seasons friend are flowers Thank you card

For my project today, I had to make a quick thank you card to place in one of my customer orders....yes, I could have used one I already had made, but.....it's more fun to make a new one.  I had this frame already laying around from another project so I just needed to use it.  This is the idea that came to me.  It features the Painted Seasons Sale-a-bration free stamp set 150349 and I used the coordinating dies Four Seasons framelits 150074 (which are only available while supplies last or March 31 whichever is earliest) to cut out the two flowers in the center piece.  Hurry to get your free Sale-a-bration items before they're gone.  You only have a short time until the end of this month.  for every $50 you spend, you get to choose one free level 1 item.  For every $100 you spend, you can choose a level 2 item or a two level 1 items.  The more you spend, the more you get for free but only until March 31, 2019!  I then adhered them down with a tiny bit of adhesive to die cut the frame using the Rectangle Stitched framelit dies 148551.  The frame is also cut with those same dies.  I mounted both diecuts to a card base in blackberry bliss.  The colors used to stamp were blackberry bliss, calypso coral, mint macaron and pool party for the small dots.  The sentiment comes from A Big Thank You 147377.

I hope you've enjoyed the project today.  Thank you for taking time from your busy schedule to stop by my blog today.  It's very much appreciated.  If you would like to purchase any products I've used today, please click on the shopping cart in the upper right.  It will take you directly to my online store.  I would love it if you would please leave me a comment.  I read each one.

Thanks again, make it a great day and happy stamping.

Well Written Lasting Lily Jar welcome

My project for you today features the Lasting Lily Sale-a-Bration free stamp set.  This set is available with a $100 spend through March 31, 2019.  It is one of Stampin’ Up!’s exclusive distinktive stamp sets.  It has amazing detail and will make beautiful cards for any occasion making it very versatile.  I started with a card base in Berry Burst to that I added a layer of Very Vanilla which was stamped with the Crackle Paint background stamp in various spots.  To achieve this look I inked up the background stamp in gray granite, then gently set my paper over the top and pressed with my fingers in various spots to ink sporadically across the cardstock.  We saw this technique during Onstage in Orlando last November.  I then stamped the large and small lilies in Daffodil Delight, Berry Burst and Flirty Flamingo, then fussy cut them out.  During the month of March 2019 you can order lily framelits which will do this work easier for you.  I also stamped the both leaves in Granny Apple Green.  The jar from Jar of Love is stamped on vellum cardstock with Momento black ink then cut with the Everyday Jar framelits.  The ribbon is Flirty Flamingo and part of the All My Love Ribbon combo which comes with the 1/8” Flirty Flamingo and Lovely Lipstick stitched edge ribbon.  Both ribbons are beautiful.  I die cut the welcome using the Well Written framelits which are a must have for card making.  This is a mega framelit set and can be purchased with the Well Said stamp set in a bundle for a savings of 10%.  To the top of the die cut I added a layer of Wink of Stella for some shimmer, then topped that with a layer of the fine tip glue pen.  Adding the fine tip glue gives a layer of shine without any tackiness making your die cut look like an expoxy element.

For the inside of the card I used the Make a Difference stamp set to stamp the to, Dear Friend and the flowers at the bottom.  The logo is from a retired set which was only available to demonstrators.

I made this card to welcome a new member to my team.  I hope you’ve enjoyed this project today and that it inspires you to do something creative today.  If you would like to order any of the products I’ve used today, you can do so at teresaharper.stampinup.net or click on the shopping cart in the upper right.  If you’re interested in joining my team, just go to my website and click on Join the Fun or contact me today.  Now is a great time to join as it’s Sale-a-Bration and you get $175 worth of product for $99 with free shipping or you can choose to pay $129, receive $175 in free product of your choosing with free shipping and get an Stampin’ Up! Thinking of you Country Floral chameleon card

Oh my gosh I really love the stamp sets that came in the January and February Paper Pumpkin boxes!    I combined the chameleon and bird from the January set with the teacup from the February kit, to come up with the focal image for this card.  First I stamped the chameleon, then masked it off and stamped the tea cup image over the top.  I used my Stamperatus to accomplish this so I could rest amp if necessary to avoid a halo effect from the mask.  I then stamped the little bird to look like he is standing on the succulent.  I colored the images with my Stampin’ Blends.  I cut the image out using the rectangle stitched framelit dies.  I mounted that on a piece of mint macaron which I also cut using the rectangle stitched dies.  I then cut a piece of watercolor paper, lightly misted it with water and ran it through the big shot with the Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions folder.  The depth and dimension is amazing and it’s free through March 31, 2019, with a $50 order! I colored it with my aqua painter using mint macaron for the leaves and pool party and Flirty Flamingo for the flowers.  This is layered on a Flirty flamingo card base.  The sentiment is from By the Bay which is a Sale-a-Bration free item you can use when you spend $50

The inside card is stamped with an image from Tea Together and the envelope image and sentiment is from the same two Paper Pumpkin stamp sets.
Stampin’ Blend colors I used are Mint Macaron light and dark, Flirty Flamingo light and dark, Pool Party light and dark, Crumb Cake light, Soft Suede dark, Calypso Coral light, Smokey Slate light, color lifter, Call Me Clover light.  I hope this project has inspired you as I really enjoyed making this one and I love how it turned out.  If you want to purchase any of the items I’ve used today, head on over to my online store by clicking on the shopping cart in the upper right.

By the Bay sunset of hope card

For my project today, I made a card for a my friend who was knocked over by her dog and suffered a broken shoulder which required a shoulder replacement surgery.  Ouch!  I hope she likes it.  The sentiment comes from High Tide which can be found in the annual catalog.  The house is a FREE Sale-a-Bration stamp set called By the Sea which can only be earned with a purchase of $50 or more through the end of March 2019.  I used our watercolor pencils to color in the scenery.  The sunset background is sponged using sponge daubers and the following colors of ink:  So Saffron, Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie, Highland Heather, Pacific Point and Night of Navy.  The water is sponged using Balmy Blue and the waves were stamped in Bermuda Bay and also come from the High Tide stamp set.  This is attached to a larger piece of whisper white cardstock which has also been stamped with the same scene from By the Bay and then mounted on a card base of Mango Melody.  My inspiration is from the Sale-a-Bration brochure and I added my own touches.

For the inside of the card, I used the birds from the same set to stamp along the bottom and sea shell to stamp over the sentiment which is taken from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set.  I also added these elements to my envelope prior to mailing.

Beauty Abounds as Part of My Story

I’m loving the Beauty Abounds stamp set out of the Occasions catalog.  It makes simple and quick cards.  I used one of the Bokeh dots images from this set.  The butterfly stamp is from Butterfly Gala.  Here I paired it with Part of My Story which is a Sale-a-Bration item you can earn for free.  The card also has a strip of the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper which is also a free Sale-a-Bration item.  Colors used are Mango Melody, Flirty Flaming, Lovely Lipstick and Lemon Lime Twist.  This card was very easy to make a set of four quick cards and envelopes, ready for gift giving, or very easily mass produced if you’re in need a lot of cards for a special event.  I used these as customer thank you cards this month.

I hope you’ve found some inspiration day and thank you for stopping by my little blog today.  If you’d like to purchase any f the items I’ve used, please click on the shopping cart and it will take you directly to my online store.  If you’d like to join my team and earn a discount, now is the time to join as we have a great deal.  All the details can be found on my shopping page.

You make me happy heart bokeh

Today’s project features a technique Jenn Houston from the Artsy Fartsy Gallery showed on her Facebook Live.  She had gotten the heart bokeh idea from a friend.  I loved the idea and so I’ve reproduced it on this card.  I started with a card base in Balmy Blue and embossed it with the Hardwood Planks embossing folder.  The bokeh panel is on a 3 3/4x5 piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I used sponge daubers to sponge on Flirty Flamingo, Lovely Lipstick and Petal Pink ink randomly.  I cut the larger hearts in scrap cardstock from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits and the tiny heart from the Well Written framelit dies (a fabulous set by the way).  I then used the negative piece to sponge Whisper White craft ink through the openings randomly all over the cardstock and set it aside to dry.  The heart focal image features the Be Mine scalloped stitched die cut in Lovely Lipstick foil which is currently a Sale-a-Bration item you can only get for free, but hurry as stock is getting low and once it’s gone, it will no longer be available.  I stamped the inside heart in Momento ink on Whisper White and colored it in with my Stampin’ Blends markers in Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green and Lovely Lipstick.  Again, I cut it out using the same die I used to cut the scalloped foil heart.

The sentiment comes from the coordinating stamp set Meant to Be and can be purchased as a bundle to save you 10% until June 3, 2019.  I masked off the word happy in the sentiment so I could use the Well Written framelit dies to cut out the larger happy die cut.  I used a layer of clear Wink of Stella and then covered with a layer of the fine tip glue pen and set it aside to dry which gave me the look of an epoxy sticker.  This is one of my new favorite technique for some die cuts.  I placed a small piece of the Whisper White flax ribbon which is available in the Occasions catalog.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my project today and that I’ve inspired you to create something of your own or CASE my project.  With Valentines Day coming, this would make a great Valentines for someone you love or perhaps even an anniversary card or just because.  If you need any of the supplies I’ve used today, I would love it if you would shop my online store by clicking on the shopping cart in the upper right.  Better yet, if you would like to earn a discount on all future purchases, please join my team.  I’d be happy to have you.  Sale-a-Bration is the very best time to join as you get $175 in product for $99 or you can choose to spend $129 and receive $175 in product and an awesome logo’d  craft bag.  All details can be found at teresaharper.stampinup.net.

You're Inspiring Mother's Day card

I made two of these cards for my mom and mother-in-law for Mother's Day this year.   The card base is from the Tutti Frutti cards and envelopes which were part of the 2018 SAB promotion which has since ended.  This card features the hinge step stamping technique technique utilizing the Stamperatus  which can be seen here.  This awesome new tool will be available in the 2018-2019 annual catalog and is an amazing new stamp positioning tool.   The sentiment is from Blossoming Basket which is no longer available; however, you could use any sentiment you already have on hand.  The daffodils are from a stamp set called You're Inspiring 145808 and are colored using our new Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.  I used light and dark Daffodil Delight 144603 and light and dark Old Olive 144597 as well as a touch of light Pumpkin Pie 144599.   The sentiment is stamped in Pool Party ink 126982 on Whisper White cardstock 100730.
Isn't that ribbon lovely?  It's the 1/4" Whisper White organza ribbon 145590 colored with a light Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend marker.  You can color any whisper white ribbon with Stampin' Blends markers quickly and easily.  I love having the versatility of that!

I hope you were inspired by my project today.  Please leave me a comment.  If you would like to purchase any of the items used today, please visit my online store by clicking on the shopping basket.  I would love to earn your business.  Thanks for stopping by.

Hedgehog Happiness thank you card

Although this card features a retired stamp set, I combined it with products you can get from the 2018 Sale-a-Bration (SAB) brochure and some items from the annual catalog. The focal image was colored with our new Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.  I used Rich Razzleberry (144602), Smokey Slate (145058), Crumb Cake ((144601), light Daffodil Delight (144586), light Calypso Coral (144042) light Pink Pirouette (144592), light Old Olive (144574) and Bronze (144607).  The image was stamped in Momento Tuxedo black ink (132708) which is  a must for using the blends with.  It won't smear or bleed as it is meant to be used with alcohol inks.  The Springtime Foils designer series  paper is from the second release of SAB products which you  can choose for free when you purchase each $50 increment of product.  I used a sponge brayer (141714) to layer Berry Burst ink over  the white background to change the color.  I love how it turned it. The ribbon is from the 2018 occasions catalog and is the Berry Burst 3/8" metallic-edge ribbon (145489).  The card base is a piece of Berry Burst cardstock.  It can be purchased separately (144243) or in a multi pack of 2017-2019 in color cardstock (144247).

We do have a current stamp set which features adorable hedgehogs and is called Hedgehugs.  It is equally adorable and available now.  SAB items are available while supplies last, but no later than March 31, 2018, when the promotion ends.  Be sure to get yours right away before they sell out.  The Occasions catalog is available until May 31, 2018. Click on the shopping cart to the right, to go to my online store to make your purchases and be sure to take advantage of SAB.  Each $50 increment spent earns you one item.  If you spend $100, you can choose two in the $50 category OR for the first time, Stampin' Up does have three options to purchase at the $100 level.  Be sure to check it out.  You won't want to miss out.

Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to stop by my blog.  I hope I've inspired you to do something creative today.  Please leave me a comment, I'd love to hear from you.

Let’s Celebrate Amazing You

My project today features my favorite stamp set from Sale-a-Bration (SAB) thus far.  It’s called Party Pandas (147221 clear mount) and can only be earned as a free item through March 31, 2018.  I started with a Berry Burst card base and stamped the confetti image from the stamp set in the matching ink around the edges.  No need to stamp the center as it's going to be covered.  My focal layer was sponged using a sponge dauber with Soft Sky for the sky area.  I used a blender pen with Lemon Lime Twist for the grass.  I stamped the Pandas directly on the Whisper White cardstock with Momento Tuxedo black ink.  That way I could use my Stampin' Blends to color in the hat and balloon.  The sentiment uses the Amazing You stamp set (147212) also from SAB and the coordinating framelits called Celebrate You thinlets (146840).  I die cut the word amazing from retired Blushing Bride glimmer paper, but you could use any of our glimmer papers or even foil papers with equally great results.

This card is for my amazing friend who has a birthday on the 22nd of this month.  I know she will love it.  Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to stop by my blog.  Please leave me a comment, I'd love to hear from you.  If you wish to order any of these products, click on the shopping cart and it will take you to my online line where you can place your order.  I'd love to earn your business.  I hope you have a creative day.

You’re Inspiring Labels to Love

My card for this week features a holiday favorite which has been carried over. It’s called Labels to Love (144967 clear mount) and has a coordinating Everyday Label Punch (144668).  The sentiment comes from a new stamp set from the Occasions mini catalog called You’re Inspiring (145808).  It can be found on page 31 and is very versatile with uses for Mother’s Day, Easter, birthdays and thinking of you cards.  Be sure to check it out.  My card base is Powder Pink with a layer of Petal Passion Designer Series Paper (DSP) (145589).  The flower images are from a free Sale-a-Bration stamp set called Amazing You (147215) only available with a $50 purchase through March 31, 2018.  I used my Stampin' Blends to color the flowers, then fussy cut them out.  If you haven't tried the Stampin' Blends markers, they are fantastic.  They are Stampin' Up!'s new alcohol markers released in November 2017.  They are so easy to color with and blend beautifully.  Even a novice like me, can color beautifully with them.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today, please feel free to leave me a comment.  I'd love to hear your thoughts.  If you would like to order any of the products I've used, please click on my shopping cart to the right.  It will take you directly to my online store where you can place your order.  I'd love to earn your business.  I hope you have a creative day.
