You're the sweetest woolly friend

My featured bundle this week is Woolly Friends.  Of course, I have to mash it up with some other products to make the cutest little friend card.  This card is perfect for Valentine's Day or any day for that matter.  I've used the Lovely Doilies and scored it as was shown by Sara Douglas on each of the scallops which gave it a little lift.  She used hers to make a medallion but that wasn't the look I was actually going for.  You can watch the video tutorial on how I made this card over on my YouTube channel by clicking this link.

Supplies and measurements:
Woolly Friends bundle* 166888 (includes stamps & coordinating punch)
Banner Sayings bundle* 167051 (includes stamps & coordinating three banner punch)
Endless Love dies 167061 (can be purchased in a bundle* with coordinating stamps)
Hearts of Love 3D embossing folder 167071
Lovely Doilies 167104
Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink gems 165615
Real Red & White Baker's Twine 164051
Ink Pads: Secret Sea, Bubble Bath, Real Red, Granny Apple Green, Old Olive
Stampin' Blends alcohol markers: Petal Pink, Bubble Bath

I hope you will give this a try.  I'll post an additional card over on my Facebook page I made with this exact layout, in blues and with the sentiment Welcome little cutie that would be perfect for a new baby.

Until next time; be happy, good health to you and happy stamping!

Loose Valentine's shaker treat box

Hello and happy Sunday!  I have a cute little treat box for you today and I've made it extra special by adding a shaker element.  I typically don't like to make traditional shaker cards unless I'm hand delivering them.  I always hand deliver treats so a shaker box works perfectly for those.  This box doesn't take a lot of supplies to make and once you get the hand of them, they're really pretty quick and easy.  I have a video tutorial over on my YouTube page you will want to watch to see how I put it together.  You can see it here by clicking this link.  You will notice in the photos below I added an additional piece of dsp to the inside of the box top.  You could see the glue lines through the vellum, so I covered it.  I didn't cut the inside piece at the same time as the top two.  Because it's vellum, if you're off a tiny bit, it really doesn't show through.

Supplies and measurements:
Endless Love dies 167061 (can be purchased in a bundle* with a coordinating stamp set)
Valentine Kisses stamp set 167027 (can be purchased in a bundle* with coordinating dies)
Real Red Ink
Real Red & White Baker's twine 164051
Bubble Bath Faux Linen ribbon 167075
Poppy Parade cardstock for box, 4 1/2" x 8"
    Score on 4 1/2" side at 1/4" & 3/4" each end
    Score on 8" side at 1/2" & 3 3/4" each end
Made With Love DSP 2 7/8" x 3 1/8" (portrait if directional) (two pieces or one piece and one in plain cardstock for inside.
Vellum 2 7/8” x 3 1/8”
Window Sheet 2 3/4” x 3”
Loose Valentine Assortment 167074
Adhesive Strips 141825

Finished box size is 3" w x 3 1/4" h x 1/2" d

I hope you will give these a try.  I'm sure your friends and family would be thrilled to receive one of these handmade treat boxes for Valentines.

Until next time; be happy, good health to you and happy stamping!

Happy Birthday bee fun fold

For my project today, I'm bringing in a stamp set that was been around for a bit, hopefully, you have it on hand already.  It works for so many things.  I decided to make this a very easy fun fold card.  Just one extra score and voila, you have this fun fold made easily.  You will find a video tutorial over on my YouTube channel by clicking this link.

Supplies and measurements:
Bee My Valentine stamps 162547
Bee Builder Punch 162553
Valentine Kisses bundle* 167310 (includes stamps & coordinating dies)
Banner Sayings bundle* 167051 (includes stamps & three banner punch)
Beautifully Celebrated dies 166974 (can be purchased in a bundle* with coordinating stamps)
Poppy Parade cardstock for card base 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 1 1/4" & 5 1/2" on the long side
Made with Love DSP 167054
    1 piece 1" x 5 1/4" & 1 piece 2 3/4" x 5 1/4"
Early Espresso cardstock scraps
Basic White cardstock
    inside layer 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"
scraps for stamping & die cutting
    piece for label approx 3 3/4" x 3 1/8"
scrap of vellum
    Tiny Bee trinkets 164714
Ink Pads: Pool Party, Secret Sea, Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade
Stampin' Blends alcohol markers: Darling Duckling, Balmy Blue, Flirty Flamingo
Wink of Stella Glitter Brush 141897
Basics WOW! embossing powder (clear) 165679
Embossing Additions Tool kit 159971
heat tool

I hope you give this fun fold a try.  I did have a bit of trouble using the small little bird as an anchor to keep the card closed during the video.  I revamped it, cut the bird die in thick basic white three times, glued each layer on top of the other and added my stamped bird image over the top.  I then placed a double stack of glue dots on my card where I needed it and added the bird stack to the glue dots.  It isn't perfect, but it works with such a small image.

You will find all the supplies I've used today in my online store by clicking on the shopping cart to the right.  Thank you so much for stopping by!  I'm so pleased you did.

Until next time; be happy, good health to you and happy stamping!

To The Point Label topped box in a bag

I saw an idea making a large box in a bag that used a 9” piece of Designer Series Paper which gave me the idea to alter the dimensions in order to make better use of a 12 x 12 sheet.  I usually make multiples so using a piece of Designer Series Paper that size wasn’t to my liking.  First, I altered it to make a bag that had a 1 1/4” square bottom and I really liked the size.  Then, I thought it might be less wasteful to make it a bit bigger and still get six from a 12 x 12 sheet but with no waste.  I went back to the math and came out with my larger bag measurements.  To see how I put both bags together, be sure to watch the video replay on my YouTube channel.

Supplies and Measurements:
Marbled Elegance Designer Series Paper 164919
    For Small Bag 3 1/2" x 5 1/2"
Score on 3 1/2" side at 1 1/4".  If directional paper, the bottom of the pattern should be where you are scoring at (if using a Simply Scored, pattern bottom should be on the left.)  Rotate DSP clockwise to the 5 1/2" side.  Your scoring line should be at the top of the scoring tool.  Score only down to the score line at 1 1/4", 2 1/2", 3 3/4" and 5"

 For Larger Bag 4" x 6"
Score on the 4" side at 1 3/8" (If directional, pattern should be on the left of the Simply Scored tool).  Rotate clockwise (score line should be at the top of the tool) and score only down to the score line at
1 3/8", 2 3/4", 4 1/8" & 5 1/2"

Additional supplies for small bag:
Hugs For Love bundle* 165738 (includes stamps 1164559 & To The Point Label Punch 164568)

Bee Gabled You Make Me Smile Box

Hello everyone!  I'm continuing this week with my series using the Meant to Bee bundle from the January 2025 Scrapbooking Brochure and combining it with the Hugs for Love punch bundle from the January - April 2025 Stampin' Up! mini catalog.  My project for you today is inspired by Marisa Alvarez.  She made a gabled treat box last week that I loved.  It didn't quite fit the To The Point Label Punch I wanted to use, so I altered the dimensions and created a different sized box perfect for your Valentine treats or for any other occasion.  To see how I put the box together, be sure to watch the video replay over on my YouTube channel.

Supplies and Measurements:
Meant to Bee bundle 167243* (includes stamps 166583 and coordinating dies 166582)
