The project I have for you today features the Scary Cute bundle by Stampin' Up!  At first, I only purchased the stamp set Scary Cute because I didn't need the coordinating dies!  Oh, how wrong I was.  As you can guess, I ended up ordering the coordinating dies separately (which cost me more in the long run than purchasing the bundle initially would have.)  In any case, for my FB Live on Wednesday night, I made this card and a coordinating treat box.  You can watch how I put them together over on my YouTube channel HERE:

Measurements and Supplies:
Scary Cute bundle 159582 (Scary Cute stamp set & Scary Silhouettes dies)

Happiness Abounds Orchid Oasis fun fold

I am showcasing the Happiness Abounds bundle again today which is included in the newly released Stampin' Up! 2022-23 Annual Catalog.  If you missed Thursday's card, be sure to check that out.

For today's card, I've used the Basic Borders dies to make a fun fold, then added a piece of card stock to it.  You can watch my video here to see how I put it together.  I hope you like it.  This is an easy layout and will work for any occasion you may need it for.  Just change the sentiment, and you're ready to go.

For the sentiment die cut on the inside, I used the All That dies (love this new product!).  Of course, you can leave the die cut out and just stamp on the inside if you like.
Supplies and Measurements:

All That dies 159807 (can be purchased in the He's All That bundle 159079)

Daffodil Daydream Medley of Cards

During my FB Live Tuesday, I made several cards and showed how to use the Daffodil Daydream bundle of products by Stampin' Up! along with the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper (DSP) which you can earn for free with a qualifying purchase through the end of February 2022.  You can watch the live replay on my YouTube page here: https://youtu.be/5SRsVDEiEAY

This is one of the cards we made.  It is a simple card with a big impact, I think.
Measurements: A2 card base in Daffodil Delight, Daffodil Afternoon DSP 4 x 5 1/4", Flirty Flamingo focal layer 3 1/8 x 4 1/8" and Shimmery White cardstock for the focal image 3 x 4".  Stampin' Blends markers for coloring in Daffodil Delight and Evening Evergreen.  White baker's twine colored with the dark Flirty Flamingo blend.
Inside layer is Basic White cardstock cut at 3 5/8 x 4 7/8".  This is the layer I use for the inside of my cards most often as I can get five of them from one sheet of cardstock.  The sentiment comes from A Wish for Everything.  It can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog and has coordinating dies called Word Wishes dies which cover most holidays.  Be sure to check those out!

Supplies and measurements:  A2 card base in Mint Macaron, Daffodil Afternoon DSP 4 x 5 1/4", Encircled in Beauty die cut in Flirty Flamingo, largest Layering Circle die in Basic White using a partial die cut technique. (see video for how to)  Stampin' Blends in Mossy Meadow, Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight.  Wink of Stella pen on flower centers.  Bumble Trinkets and Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon.  The thanks is cut from Basic black using the Well Written dies (retired), but you could use the Amazing Thanks dies which are current and in my online store.  I cut three out and layered them on top of each other using our adhesive sheets on the back of the black cardstock prior to die cutting.

For my final card today, I started with an A2 card base in Mint Macaron, then added a Daffodil Afternoon base layer 4 x 5 1/4".   Using the Stitched Rectangles dies, I cut the rectangle which is approximately 2 1/4 x 3 1/2" in Basic White.  Sentiments are from Special Moments and stamped in Momento Tuxedo black ink.  I cut the largest oval from the Beautiful Shapes dies in Pale Papaya and layered on the rectangle.  The darling kangaroo is from Count on Me.  I colored her using the newly released Natural Tones Collection of Stampin' Blends Markers in SU 400 and SU 1000.  The flower she's holding is colored with Pale Papaya and Mossy Meadow.
For the inside of the card I used the stitched rectangle die which is closest to 3 5/8 x 4
7/8".  I stamped the bear from Count on Me and colored it with SU 300.  I just love the new options available in the Natural Tones collection of markers!  The heart is colored with Flirty Flamingo and her clothes were paper pieced using the Daffodil Afternoon DSP.  I show how I did this in the video.

Well, that's all for me today.  Thanks for stopping by!  To place an order, click on the shopping cart in the upper right corner.  I'd love to earn your business!  Please leave a comment, I'd love to hear from you.

Until next time; be happy, stay healthy and happy stamping!

Honeybee Home Fun Fold Mystery Stamping card

I participated in a mini catalog kickoff event recently.  This card layout was part of the mystery stamping challenge put out by Barb Milliken, although I did modify it slightly.  When I saw the challenge, I immediately decided to use the Honeybee Home bundle along with the coordinating Heart and Home Designer Series paper.  This card came together so quickly for me.  I love participating in Mystery Card challenges! You can see how I put this card together over on my YouTube channel here: https://youtu.be/ukK2hPyfgSk

This is a view of the inside of the card.  The original mystery card used a 1 x 5 1/4" strip of the dsp.  I didn't care for that look so I changed it to a 4 x 5 1/4", then added the scalloped rectangle for my message inside.

Measurements and Supplies:
Cardstock in Cinnamon Cider, Misty Moonlight and Basic White
Momento Tuxedo Black ink pad
Stampin' Blends alcohol markers in Pale Papaya, Olive,  Daffodil Delight and So Saffron
Wink of Stella
Stampin' Dimensionals
Stampin' Cut and Emboss machine
Hive 3D Embossing folder
Honeybee Home bundle which includes the Honeybee Home stamp set and coordinating Honeybee Blooms Dies
Grassy Gove stamp set for sentiment (or you can use whatever you have on hand)
Linen Thread

1. Cinnamon Cider cardstock 5 1/2 x 8 1/2.  Cut two inches from the 8 1/2" side and save for layering.  Your base is then 5 1/2 x 6 1/2", score that piece at 2 1/4" and fold so the 2 1/4" flap is on the left front of your card.  Emboss the remaining 2" piece with the Hive 3D embossing folder and add to the 2 1/4"  front flap.
2. Using the Stitched So Sweetly dies, cut from Misty Moonlight the largest scalloped rectangle.  Next, cut two of the second largest scalloped rectangles from Basic White cardstock.
3. Stamp the sentiment from Grassy Grove on one of the white rectangles, then adhere it to the Misty Moonlight rectangle.  To the remaining white rectangle, stamp the flower cluster, centered at the bottom of the die cut, inside the stitching lines.  Color with Stampin' Blends.
4.  Add these pieces to the front flap, making sure to only place adhesive on the left half of the die cuts to ensure you don't accidently glue the card closed.
5. Stamp the tallest flower image from Honeybee Home and three of the honeybees in Momento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White card.  Color using your Stampin' Blends markers.  Die cut with the coordinating Honeybee Blooms dies.  If desired, also cut from basic white an additional flower die for layering.
6. Layer the two flower pieces together if you cut an extra.  Add this image to the left half of the white stamped rectangle.  Now with, stampin' dimensionals adhere two of the honeybees to the flower as shown.
7.  Next, add the 4 x 5 1/4" piece of patterned paper to the inside back of the card.  Adhere the flower stamped scalloped rectangle to the center of the dsp making sure when you close the card front, you can't see the white piece from the front.
 8.  Next using dimensionals only in the upper portion of the final honeybee, adhere it to the upper right corner overlapping slightly with the Misty Moonlight rectangle so it will hold the card closed, but not inhibit the opening the card too much.  (See my video for exact instructions.)  Your card is now completed!  Admire and send to someone who might enjoy seeing your creation.

Thanks for spending some time with me today.  I do so appreciate it!  If you would like to purchase any of the supplies I've used today, click on the shopping cart in the upper right.  It will take you to my online store where you can click shop now and add these items to your cart.  Leave me a comment and let me know what you think of our project.

Until next time; be happy, stay healthy and happy stamping!

Poinsettia Petals Thank you Card

Hello and welcome to the beginning of my 12 Projects of Christmas series for 2021.  Today I am featuring Poinsettia Petals. I made two cards utilizing the stamps and dies.  The card design is cased from Marisa Alvarez.  The first card has the poinsettia petals stamped in Cherry Cobbler and colored in with the light Real Red Stampin’ Blends marker.  The leaves are stamped in Mossy Meadow and colored with the light Mossy Meadow Blends marker.  I cut the sprigs fromBumblebee cardstock and covered them in Wink of Stella. For the center of the poinsettia, I first colored with the Bumblebee Stampin’ Write marker, then added three Decorative matte dots to the center.  The splatter is done in Mossy Meadow and comes from the Merriest Moments stamp set.  The strips of Designer Series Paper are from Heartwarming Hugs and the gingham piece is 1 1/4 x 4”, the striped piece is 3x 2”.  You can see how I made this card by watching here https://youtu.be/SsXTpISGacY

The second card uses Designer Series Paper and dimensions.  Instead of coloring, I stamped Cherry Cobbler on Real Red for the poinsettia petals and Mossy Meadow on Pear Pizzazz cardstock for the leaves.  The sprigs are cut from the gold brushed metallic cardstock.  The solid flower center is cut from Bumblebee and overlayed with the detailed flower center also cut from the brushed metallic cardstock.

This is the inside of both cards.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked what you saw.  I will be posting projects daily for the next twelve days to complete the twelve projects of Christmas.  Please join me over on my Facebook page at KnT Designs by Teresa for live videos featuring the 12 Projects of Christmas at 7:45 pm PDT each night excluding Mondays and Wednesdays.

Until Thursday; be happy, stay healthy and happy stamping!

Hello everyone, we’re just about to begin Onstage at Home, Stampin’ Up!’s virtual stamping convention. I am very excited to be able to participate in this inspirational event.  We will be able to take a look at the new January-June 2022 mini catalog and have the opportunity to purchase a small sampling of products from it.  This is just one of the perks of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  If you would like to join the Stampin' Up! family, now is a very good time to do so.  There is currently a sale on the starter kit.  For $75, you get to choose $125 in free product from any current products and you get free shipping.  If you are interested in joining my team, go to teresaharper.stampinup.net and click on join.  I'd love to welcome you to the Stampin' Up! family.

Today’s project is made with the Angel of Peace stamp set and I’ve paired it with the Merriest Moments bundle.  The Designer Series Paper I used is from the Tidings of Christmas 6x6 dsp stack.  The foliage piece is cut with the Merriest Frames dies and then embossed with the coordinating hybrid embossing folder in Evening Evergreen.  I added a bit of Wink of Stella to some of the leaves to give it a little sparkle.  The holly leaves are stamped in Soft Succulent and the holly berries in cherry cobbler, then diecut with the coordinating dies which are included in the Merriest Frames.  I cut a the stitched rectangle in basic white also from the same die set.  I then stamped the angel in Momento tuxedo black ink as I colored her with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.  You can watch my video on how to make this card at https://youtu.be/dEE0uMQYTNk

Here are the Stampin' Blends I used to color the angel.

Other supplies used:
Basic White thick 8 1/2 x 5 1/2"
Evening Evergreen 4 1/4 x 5 1/2"
Basic White scrap 3" x 4" approx to cut stitched rectangle, additional scrap for stamping holly leaves and berries along with sentiment
Tidings of Christmas 6x6" Designer Series Paper
Ink pads in Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen, Cherry Cobbler and Momento Tuxedo Black

Lucky little Ladybug card

Today’s project features a free Sale-a-Bration stamp set which you can earn with a qualifying order or by hosting a workshop ((either in person or virtual).  I also used the coordinating Ladybug dies (153588) which can be purchased through March 31, 2020, or while supplies last.  I started with an A2 card base in Granny Apple Green.  Then on a layer of Whisper White, I stamped the four lady bug image around the edges, masking the corners with a sticky note.  I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock using the stitched scallop die from Stitched So Sweetly dies (151690) and then stamped the large flower.  I also stamped the large flower on a scrap piece of cardstock, along with the lady bug.  I colored these images in with Stampin’ Blends, then cut them out with the coordinating dies.  In the die set, there is a die to cut the entire flower, or just the flower top.  In cut just the flower top.  The sentiment also comes from the same stamp set.  I added the scallop rectangle to a piece of basic black cardstock, then added to the lady bug framed whisper white piece.  I saw a similar card on Pinterest by Terri Pocock.

The photo below shows the colors I used for this card.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you’ve found some inspiration.  Should you want any supplies I’ve used today, or any others, please click on the shopping cart to the right.  I’d love to earn your business.

Until next time, happy stamping and make today amazing.

Unique Lovely Lily Pad card

Today’s project was inspired by a video I watched (sorry, I can’t remember who).  It features the Sale-a-Bration free stamp set called Lovely Lily Pad (152288).  It can’t be purchased, but can only be earned for free with a $50 purchase.  In any case, she took the medium lily and stamped it in multiple directions to make a new unique flower.  I loved how it turned out and immediately had to try it out.  This card is the result.  I first diecut a piece of whisper white card stock using the Stitched So Sweetly dies (151690).  I then stamped the medium lily using Memento Tuxedo Black ink (north), then flipped the stamp upside down (south) and lined it up so the bottom was touching the bottom of the previously stamped image.  Next, I stamped the image on a piece of sticky note paper with two thicknesses, then fussy cut it out just inside the outline to form a mask.  I used these masks to place over the two images I stamped on my cardstock.  I then stamped the lily two more times in the openings to the east and west of the masks.  You will have stamped the image four times (north, south, east and west) to form the new flower image.  Very clever right?  I then repeated this process randomly to fill my diecut.  Using my stamping blends, I then colored the images.  The ink pads in the second photo are the colors of blends I used.  I mounted my focal image on a piece of basic black cardstock.  I cut a layer of Follow your Art Designer Series Paper (149489) for the base layer and tied a piece of the Polka Dot Tulle ribbon (146912) around the piece before mounting it to an A2 size card base in basic black.  I left it without a sentiment so I can add it later and use for any occasion.  This card is perfect for a birthday, anniversary, wedding, just because and even sympathy.

Stampin’ blends Used:  Lovely Lipstick light 147026, Rococo Rose combo 149572, Pineapple Punch combo 147280 and Mango Melody dark 147944.

Over the Moon Udderly fantastic

Today’s card uses one of my favorite sets from the annual catalog (I have quite a few!)  The set is called Over The Moon (149331).  For this card I started with a basic black card base cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored and folded in half at 4 1/4".  I took a piece of whisper white cardstock cut at 4" by 5 1/4" and ink blended with balmy blue and granny apple green ink.  I used makeup brushes I purchased from Amazon to achieve the effect.  I stamped the grass clumps in granny apple green ink, then stamped my remaining images in Momento tuxedo black ink.  My little cow was stamped on a scrap piece of whisper white, stamped and colored with Stampin' Blends markers, then fussy cut and added to the card with dimensionals.  Blends markers I used were dark lovely lipstick, light basic black, petal pink combo, dark smokey slate, light so saffron, colorless blender, dark soft suede and dark mango melody.

For the inside of my card, I added more images from the same stamp set.  I inked the moon in so saffron ink, then colored with the blends markers.  I just love how this turned out.  I planned to put this in my husband's lunch pail just before he heads out for work, but as our 39th wedding anniversary is right around the corner, I might use it for that instead.

I hoped you've been inspired today.  If you are in the USA and would like to order to any products I've used (or anything else you might fancy), please click on the shopping cart.  I'd love to earn your business.  Until next time, make it a great day and happy stamping!

Beautiful Friendship promotion card

The card I have for you today was made for my granddaughter’s 8th grade promotion.  She will be a high schooler in the fall, it’s so hard to believe she’s grown so fast.  I used two new stamp sets from the 2019-2020 annual catalog which was released on June 4.  They are Beautiful Friendship (149252) and New Wonders host set (149426).  In order to get the host set, you will need to place an order of $150 in the U.S. or get a group of friends together to place orders totaling $150.  To make this card, I first cut a label using the Stitched Nested Label dies (149638) out of whisper white cardstock.  I then used some removable adhesive to place it on the a 3 3/4” x 5” piece of whisper white cardstock.  I then stamped the images from Beautiful Friendship using blackberry bliss, calypso coral, granny apple green and melon mambo inks.  The sentiment is stamped in memento black and comes from the New Wonders stamp set.  I then removed the stitched nested label piece and adhered the focal panel to a standard A2 card base in blackberry bliss.  I then popped up the label with stampin’ dimensionals being careful to match up the stamped images.

For the inside of my card, I stamped one of the fairies in memento black ink in the lower right corner of a piece of whisper white cardstock.  I then colored it using my stampin’ blends markers in light and dark blackberry bliss, light and dark calypso coral, light lovely lipstick, light pool party, light and dark granny apple green, light and dark crumb cake, light petal pink and the color lifter.

I hope you’ve found inspiration in my card today.  Please leave me a comment, I’d love to hear from you.  If you would like to purchase any of the products I’ve used today, please click on the shopping cart in the upper right.  It will take you directly to my online store.

Strong and Beautiful Magnolia Z-fold card

Today’s project was made for a friend who is currently fighting cancer.  I wanted to brighten her day and I’m hoping this card will do just that.  The sentiment for this card is from Strong and Beautiful (148732).  I started with a half sheet of letter sized cardstock in mossy meadow cut at 4 1/4” by 11, scored and folded at 2 3/4” and 5 1/2”.   I then cut layers from the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper at 2 1/2” x 4 and 4 x 5 1/4.  You will also need a piece of whisper white cardstock cut at 2 1/2” x 4 for the center panel so you will have a space to write.  I used my Stamparatus (146276) to stamp the beautiful large magnolia image from the Good Morning Magnolia bundle (151087) which includes the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set and coordinating Magnolia Memory dies.  I stamped it in early espresso on a piece of whisper white cardstock.  I then used my stampin’ blends in light and dark mossy meadow, light and dark flirty flamingo and light soft suede to color the image.  Once colored, I placed it back in the Stamparatus and overstamped the image in Versamark ink then added copper embossing powder and heat set it.  To finish off the image, I added a bit of wink of Stella to the flower petals.  I then used the coordinating magnolia memory dies to cut out the image.  For the inside of the card, I stamped two of the small magnolia flowers, colored them with the same blends, cut them out with the coordinating dies and attached them behind the front panel for a little surprise when you open the card.  The sentiment is stamped on a piece of cardstock cut at 1” x 5 1/4” in early espresso ink.

I want to thank you for taking time from your busy day to stop by my blog.  Please leave me a comment, I’d love to hear from you.  I hope I’ve inspired you to make something creative today.  Please click on the shopping cart if you would like to purchase any of the items I’ve used today.  It will take you directly to my online store.

Golden Afternoon sympathy card

Today’s project features the Golden Afternoon stamp set (148772) along with a Stampin’ Blends watercolor wash technique.  I love how it turned out.  In order to achieve this effect, start with a ziplock gallon bag.  Place a piece of cardstock underneath the bag so you can see the general area you need to color. Then scribble different colors across the area being careful not to overlap your colors to prevent transferring the previous color onto the marker.  I used night of navy, flirty flamingo, pumpkin pie, mango melody, granny apple green and crumb cake Stampin’ Blends.  Once you have your colors on the bag, wet the bag with a spritzer (126185) filled with alcohol.  Then place a piece of glossy cardstock (144240) face down onto the wet bag to transfer the color to the cardstock.  Press and rub the back of the cardstock gently for a few seconds, then lift and set aside to dry.  Each card will be unique.  I then stamped the beautiful tree from Golden Afternoon and the birds in Stazon black ink (101406) using my Stamperatus (146276) to prevent slipping on the glossy cardstock as it can be a bit tricky to stamp on with the slick surface when you use a clear block.  In order for my sentiment to stand out a bit, I stamped it with Versamark ink (102283) and then added copper embossing powder (141636), then heat set the powder.  Be sure to use an embossing buddy (103083) beforehand to prevent stray embossing powder from sticking where you don’t want it.

To finish off this card, I mounted the focal panel on a piece of basic black and then onto a card base of mango melody.

I hope I’ve inspired you to try this technique.  Thanks for taking time from your busy day to stop by my blog.  Please leave me a comment, I would love to hear from you.  If you would like to purchase any of the supplies I’ve used today, please click on the shopping cart it will take you directly to my online store.

Hope you have a fabulous day and happy stamping.

Best Catch love never gives up guy card

Today's project I made with my husband in mind.  He loves to fish, although he hasn't been in quite some time.  I made the card and left it for him to open while I was away on a craft retreat, so he would know I was thinking of him.  It features the Best Catch bundle (150605) which consists of the Best Catch stamp set (148598 and Catch of the Day framelits (148815).  When you purchase it with the bundle code, you save 10% but only through June 3, 2019.  Should this set carry over into the 2019-2020 annual catalog, it will no longer be offered as a bundle, so be sure to order yours today.

The card base on this card is tranquil tide.  I stamped the fisherman and sentiment in Momento black ink on a piece of Wood Textures designer series paper.  I love how it looks with this particular piece.  The fish is stamped in Momento black ink (132708) then colored with the Stampin' Blends markers.  For this I used dark balmy blue (148542), light night of navy (144036), light (146876) and dark granny apple green (146877), light bermuda bay (144580), dark petal pink (146871) and light smoky slate (145054).  I added wink of stella (141897) to some areas just to make him sparkle in some areas.  I then cut the image out with the coordinating framelits using the Big Shot (143263).

I stamped and cut the "fly" from the same stamp and die bundle for the inside of my card.  It is also colored with Stampin' Blends markers.  For this one I used many of the same colors but added some calypso coral light (144042) and dark 144044).
Thank you for taking time from your busy day to stop by my blog.  It's very much appreciated.  Please leave me a comment, I would love to hear from you.  If you would like to purchase any of the items I've used today, please click on the shopping cart in the upper right.  It will take you directly to my online store where you can shop 24/7.  I would love to earn your business.

Animal Outing 1st Birthday card

Today's project is inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest by craft-somniamomma.  I changed it up just a bit.  I made this little card for my grandson's first birthday.  It features the Animal Outing bundle which includes the Animal Outing stamp set and the matching Animal Friends thinlet dies which when purchased in the bundle 148324 saves you 10%.  The card base is is a standard A2 card base in thick whisper white.  The Designer Series Paper (DSP) layer is from the Tropic Escape 6x6 DSP stack and is cut at 5 3/8" by 4 1/8".  The focal image layer is cut at 5" x 3 3/4".  I stamped the balloon image from Hand Delivered (host set  availabe with a qualifying workshop or purchase of $150 or more) and colored with my Stampin' blends in pineapple punch 147280, balmy blue, soft sea foam 148059, poppy parade 147275, calypso coral 144045, granny apple green 147274, mango melody 147945,  and bermuda bay 144600.  I used the combo pack of each color to give them depth.  The 1st comes from Making a Difference stamp set 146676.  The balloon strings are hand drawn as a I had to mask off the hands under the balloons and I had a few smudges which I corrected with the strings!  The rhino and giraffe are stamped from the Animal Outing set and are stamped and then colored using my blends.  For the giraffe I used dark cajun craze and the light pumpkin pie 144578.  I stamped the giraffe using cajun craze rather than the Momento tuxedo black I used for the rhino and the balloons.  The rhino is colored in with the smokey slate combo 145058 and light petal pink 146866 for the nostril and ears.  To color his horn, I first put a fine layer of light smokey slate around the outside, then used my color lifter 144608 to push the color toward the center.  The little bird uses the pool party combo 144605 and light calypso coral for the beak.  I die cut the giraffe and popped him up with stampin' dimensionals 104430.

For the inside of my card I used the Birthday Banners stamp set 141506.  It's stamped in the coordinating colors of the DSP stack of shaded spruce and granny apple green.  I stamped the candle in balmy blue and used pineapple punch and mango melody for the flame.

Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to stop by my blog.  It's very much appreciated and I hope you've been inspired.  Please leave me a comment, I'd love to hear from you.  If you would like to purchase any of the products I've used today, please click on the shopping basket in the upper right.  It will take you directly to my online store where you can shop 24/7.  I'd love to earn your business.
