Red, white and blue jar of flowers watercolor car

The project I’m showing you today was created as a make-n-take for my local stampers group.  We had our first in-person workshop this month.  As we are a group under 10 persons, we were allowed to meet.  My friend Lynette had asked me to create a card that could be used as a thank you and used the Jar of Flowers stamp set from the new annual 2020-2021 catalog.  This is the project I came up with.
I started with a whisper white card base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2”.  To this I added a piece of Designer Series Paper from the Boho Indigo product medley (153132 Or refill 153925) cut at 4 x 5 1/4”.  I die cut the second largest scalloped rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly dies (151690) out of seaside spray.  I did a very light watercolor wash of night of navy and cherry cobbler on Fluid 100 watercolor paper (149612).  Let dry thoroughly, then stamp the jar image with memento ink and punch with the Jar punch (152703).  This punch can be purchased separately, or as a bundle (154064 ) with the Jar of Flowers stamp set.  I then stamped the floral spray from Jar of Flowers (152515) on whisper white card stock with momento ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends in misty moonlight, cherry cobbler, just jade, light seaside spray, light night of navy.  I used wink of Stella on the white flowers and the cherry cobbler flowers.  I then fussy cut the floral spray.  I first added my jar to the seaside spray die cut and then used stampin’ dimensionals to add the floral image.

I thought this card could be used for most any occasion and certainly fits the upcoming holiday.  I hope you have enjoyed my card today and have been inspired.  Thank you for stopping by.  If you would like to purchase any of the products I’ve used today, please stop by my online store by clicking on the shopping cart in the upper right.  I would love to earn your business.  Please leave me a comment, I’d love to hear from you.

Until next time, be safe, stay healthy and make it a great day.
Happy stamping,

2020-2021 Annual Stampin' Up Catalog is Live!

Today is the day!  The brand new annual catalog has gone live to customers.  I'm so excited.  I've placed my order and should be receiving it next week.  Please check out my Facebook page at KnT Designs by Teresa.  Be sure to like and follow so you don't miss any posts.  I do weekly lives on Monday evenings around 7 p.m.  I would love for you to join me.

Here is a project I made with the new Jar of Flowers stamp set.  It also uses a sentiment from Colorful Seasons which just retired, but you could use any sentiment.  I used Stampin' Blends to color the image in Old Olive combo, Light Mossy Meadow, Rococo Rose combo, Flirty Flamingo combo, So Saffron combo, Light Crumb Cake, Dark Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight combo and Pretty Peacock combo.
The ribbon on the card combs from the Forever Greenery ribbon combo pack which is available in the new annual catalog.  I used a die from the Ornate Borders dies to cut the fancy edge at the bottom of this card.

Thank you for taking time from your busy day to stop by my blog today.  I really appreciate it.  Please leave me a comment, I would love to hear from you.  I hope I have inspired you today.  Should you wish to order any supplies, please click on the shopping cart in the upper right.  I would be most appreciative to earn your business.

Well, until next time, make it a wonderful day and happy stamping!

Well Written Lasting Lily Jar welcome

My project for you today features the Lasting Lily Sale-a-Bration free stamp set.  This set is available with a $100 spend through March 31, 2019.  It is one of Stampin’ Up!’s exclusive distinktive stamp sets.  It has amazing detail and will make beautiful cards for any occasion making it very versatile.  I started with a card base in Berry Burst to that I added a layer of Very Vanilla which was stamped with the Crackle Paint background stamp in various spots.  To achieve this look I inked up the background stamp in gray granite, then gently set my paper over the top and pressed with my fingers in various spots to ink sporadically across the cardstock.  We saw this technique during Onstage in Orlando last November.  I then stamped the large and small lilies in Daffodil Delight, Berry Burst and Flirty Flamingo, then fussy cut them out.  During the month of March 2019 you can order lily framelits which will do this work easier for you.  I also stamped the both leaves in Granny Apple Green.  The jar from Jar of Love is stamped on vellum cardstock with Momento black ink then cut with the Everyday Jar framelits.  The ribbon is Flirty Flamingo and part of the All My Love Ribbon combo which comes with the 1/8” Flirty Flamingo and Lovely Lipstick stitched edge ribbon.  Both ribbons are beautiful.  I die cut the welcome using the Well Written framelits which are a must have for card making.  This is a mega framelit set and can be purchased with the Well Said stamp set in a bundle for a savings of 10%.  To the top of the die cut I added a layer of Wink of Stella for some shimmer, then topped that with a layer of the fine tip glue pen.  Adding the fine tip glue gives a layer of shine without any tackiness making your die cut look like an expoxy element.

For the inside of the card I used the Make a Difference stamp set to stamp the to, Dear Friend and the flowers at the bottom.  The logo is from a retired set which was only available to demonstrators.

I made this card to welcome a new member to my team.  I hope you’ve enjoyed this project today and that it inspires you to do something creative today.  If you would like to order any of the products I’ve used today, you can do so at teresaharper.stampinup.net or click on the shopping cart in the upper right.  If you’re interested in joining my team, just go to my website and click on Join the Fun or contact me today.  Now is a great time to join as it’s Sale-a-Bration and you get $175 worth of product for $99 with free shipping or you can choose to pay $129, receive $175 in free product of your choosing with free shipping and get an Stampin’ Up! Logo tote bag.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today, please leave me a comment.  I’d love to hear from you.  In the mean time, make it a great day and happy stamping.

Butterfly Gala with marble and ghosting techniques

This card turned out so beautifully.  It could be used for most any occasion including Valentines Day.  To make the background, I stamped my butterfly images on glossy white card in Versamark ink.  I then used alcohol on a cotton swab and added two drops each of Coastal Cabana, Balmy Blue and Bermuda Bay, tapping lightly all over the card until I was happy with the color.  To finish it off, I added a pearlized doily.  My sentiment is from the same stamp set and stamped in Bermuda Bay ink on a Decorative Label punch out inked around the edges with Coastal Cabana ink.  The final element is a stamped butterfly from the Butterfly Gala set, stamped in Moment black ink and sponged with dauber using the same three inks used in the background.  I used the Butterfly Duet punch to punch it out.  The stamp set and punch can be purchased separately or as a bundle which saves you 10%.  Finally, the focal image is mounted on a standard A2 card base in Bermuda Bay.  I was very pleased with the final result as the background started out as a play around with the ghosting technique, then just seeing what would happen if I added the marbling technique as well.  I did find lighter colors work better than the dark, or at least in my play.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and taking time from your busy day.  It’s very much appreciated.  Click on the shopping cart in the upper right to go to my online store where you can order any Stampin’ Up! supplies you might want.  It’s Sale-a-Bration time until March 31 which means you can earn free product for each $50 in product you purchase.  Details can be found in my online store.  Should you have any questions, feel free to leave me a comment and I’ll be happy to answer them for you.
