It's a good day to celebrate birthday card

 The card I have for you today continues using those Sale a-bration free items Stampin' Up! offered through February 28.  I showed this card during a live tutorial on Thursday before SAB ended.  However, if you don't have that particular stamp set, you can use any small Happy Birthday, confetti or other sentiment you have in your stash and still make a card very similar.  The technique of making your own designer series paper is the main focus here.  The remaining images from this card are all still available in current stamp sets available in my online store.  You can watch the video replay over on my YouTube channel where I show you how to make your own paper and how to make your own banner piece to fit the die cut banner from Birthday Celebration dies.

Sending Love Vertical Bandstand Fun Fold card

 Hey all, I've got another vertical floating bandstand card for you today.  I absolutely love this fun fold.  I think it's easy and makes such a huge impact.  I made this particular card so I could send it out to my Aunt in Minnesota as I didn't get to mailing out my Christmas cards.  I wanted her to know I hadn't forgotten about her but didn't really want an all out Valentine card.  This is the result.  I hope you like it.  To see how I've put this card together, you can watch the video over on my YouTube channel.

You Make Life Better with Thoughtful Wishes Fun Fold

 Today I'm sharing this quick and easy card made using the Thoughtful Wishes stamp set.  I cased this card from Stampin' Up! Of course, I changed some of the measurements and turned it into a fun fold card to make it my own.  It started as a 3 1/2" x 5" notecard size, but that didn't work for me, so I modified it and made it a standard A2 size card with a fun fold to it.  I love being inspired by a card and then modifying it to make it mine!  I hope you enjoy this card and are inspired to make one of your own.  To see how I put it together, you can watch the video replay over on YouTube.

Sending Smiles Mystery Stamping fun fold card

Today’s project is the second card made during my live on Tuesday, 5-17-22.  This card came about by playing a mystery stamping layout with Barb Milliken.  I love the layout.  It's simple, yet different.  The bundle of products is called Sending Smiles and you will find it on page 14 of the newly released 2022-23 Stampin' Up! You can watch how I put this card and one additional card, which will be posted on my blog on Saturday, here.  If you've been following me very long, you'll know how much I love a good wreath.  I was hanging out yesterday, when the idea for this card just popped into my head.  As I didn't have any grandkids to watch, I headed straight for my studio to put the image in my head down on paper.  I love how it turned out!

I kept the inside fairly simple.

Supplies and Measurements: 

Sun Prints Suite 158805 (includes Nature's Prints bundle 158801[Nature's Prints stamps 158793 and Natural Prints Dies 158800], Sun Prints DSP 158790 and Fern 3D embossing folder 158804

Friends are Like Seashells stamp set for coloring in flowers

Orchid Oasis card base 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2 and 6 3/4"

2022-2024 In Color 6x6 DSP (1 sheet, cut in three pieces at 4 x4", 1 x 4" and 1/2 x 4")

3 3/4" square for outside panel and 4" square for inside panel of Basic White cardstock

Scrap Basic White for stamping and die cutting flowers.  

Scrap Parakeet Party for die cutting foliage pieces
