Ice skating birthday card with Dear Santa

For my final project this week, I've used Dear Santa and Forever Forest (along with some other things) to make a cute little birthday card for the young at heart.  My grandson's 18th birthday is coming up and this little guy reminds me so much of him the first time we took him ice skating in Disneyland at Olaf's Skating Rink.  Such great memories!  I've used a new technique with the Pearlized Enamel Effects to make the snow on my mountain tops.  To see how I've put this card together, be sure to watch the replay over on my YouTube channel.

Supplies and Measurements:
Dear Santa 164303 (ice skater)
Forever Forest stamps 162054 162054 (trees) & dies 162057 (mountains, trees)
Unbounded Love stamps 163378 (Inside sentiment)
Loveliest Tree 163714 (Happy Birthday)
Bright Skies dies 162793 (skating pond shape)
So Swirly Embossing Folder 163791 (for inked pattern on skating pond)
Riverside Irregular Pearls 164937
Ink Pads: Memento Tuxedo Black, Azure Afternoon, Mossy Meadow, Pool Party
Stampin' Blends alcohol markers: Azure Afternoon, Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie, Lt Petal Pink, Lt Basic Black, Dk Smoky Slate, Natural Tones--Medium Lt SU 700
Stampin' Write marker: Pecan Pie for inking tree trunk (DO NOT use a Stampin' Blend alcohol marker)
Pearlized Enamel Effects Basics 156310 (White, Red & Black included in package)
Azure Afternoon cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Basic White 4" x 5 1/4", 2 1/2" x 5 1/2", 3 5/8" x 4 7/8" for inside layer, & multiple scraps for stamping and die cutting
Blending Brush
Paper Snips for fussy cutting ice skater

I hope you have enjoyed seeing the new technique of adding texture for snow with the pearlized enamel effects.  I know I was thrilled with how it turned out.  It's an easy way to add texture and shine to the mountain tops.  To order your Stampin' Up! supplies, click on the shopping cart in the upper right.  It allows me to put out these tutorials for all of you.  Thanks in advance for your support.

Until next time; be happy, stay healthy and happy stamping!
