A Stampin' Up! sketch card with the 2025 Crafting Advent Calendar stamps

I recently received the new 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calendar for 2025 by Stampin' Up!  I wanted to see what it was all about.  My friend Tracy suggested I open one window each day and try to make a card with the contents.  Today is Day 1 and I started with just the stamps.  The stamps are all occasion stamps, even though the box itself is decorated for Christmas.  I thought I would make a card for a December birthday, using just the stamps and some additional cardstock/DSP.  Stampin' Up! sent out some sketches to those of us who participated in World Card Making Day last Saturday.  I decided to incorporate one of those sketches into my project for today.

Sending Love Vertical Bandstand Fun Fold card

For my card today, I've borrowed a sentiment from a returning favorite from last year.  I've paired it up with the new Online Exclusives*** Changing Leaves Hybrid bundle.  With some ink blending and coloring of one image, I love how this turned out.  It definitely brings on the feel of autumn and reminds us that sometimes changes can be beautiful.  If you would like to see how I've put this card together, watch the video replay over on YouTube.

You Are Amazing Changing Leaves card

 The bundle I've chosen to showcase this week is the Changing Leaves Hybrid bundle by Stampin' Up!  With September less than a month away, I'm seeing the changing of leaves beginning here in Oregon.  I love all the beautiful colors and so it's fitting that we get to using this bundle from the Online Exclusives*** collection of products.  With a hybrid bundle, you not only get stamps and coordinating dies, but the dies work within the included embossing folder.  It's a very neat concept.  For my card today, we will be using the dies and embossing folder independently of each other. Autumn Leaves 6x6 scenery fun fold card

 For today’s project featuring the All About Autumn suite, I’ve created a 6x6 scenery fun fold.  I’ve used this fun fold on a Regal Reindeer card in July and cased the fold from a fellow demonstrator.  Be sure to check that card out too.  I love this fun fold because it uses almost an entire sheet of 6x6 Designer Series Paper minus 3/4” off the top or bottom of the scene.  This is a perfect fold if you just can’t cut up the scene.  You can watch the video replay to see how I made this card on my YouTube channel HERE:

Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder 162189, available September 6, 2023.

All About Autumn DSP 6x6, cut 3/4" off the top or bottom, your choice.  Set 3/4" piece aside for another project.

    Next on the remaining 5 1/4 x 6" piece cut from the left on the 6" side at 2 3/4", then cut another piece 1 1/4".  This will leave a 2" piece.  Keep all three pieces in their correct scenery order.
