Quilted cross Easter card

Hello all!  Great news!  Stampin' Up! announced free shipping for the next three days with a $75** qualifying order!  Free shipping will run February 18-20, 2026, and ends at 11:59 pm MT or 10:59 p.m. PT.  Head on over to my online store for all the details.

Today I have a card that was inspired by May May Made it.  I saw how she made these little quilted circles and placed them into a cross using a patterned paper.  It inspired me to try out her method.  I had to change the circle sizes and Stampin' Up! does not currently have the size circle punch she used.  I altered the measurements to fit the 1 3/4" punch, grabbed some wood paper, and put this card together using Stampin' Up! products.  I hope you give this a try.  I do love how it looks.  To watch the video tutorial where I show you how to create it, head on over to my YouTube channel by clicking this link.

For my card today, I've gone a little crazy making a gift card pocket card for movie theater tickets or gift card.  I love how the Around It All dies complement the popcorn bucket character.  But you better hurry if you don't already own those dies as they are currently in the last chance section of my online store, heavily discounted and while supplies last.  I think they are a staple for every card maker/gift giver.  If you would like to see how I put this card together, head on over to my YouTube channel and watch the video tutorial.

Sending good vibes two-tone floral card

For my card today, I've focused on using the new two-tone cardstock that Stampin' Up! has recently released in all our colors.  I thought I'd give it a try and show my customers how it looks and what you can do with it.  I do love the options for two colors of cardstock from the same sheet of paper.  On my card today, I've used the Petunia Pop & Old Olive two-tone.  Because the two-tone cardstock has a white core (as compared to our dyed-through 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock) you can do some fun techniques with it.  Be sure to watch the video replay over on my YouTube channel.

Measurements and Supplies:
Impressions Abloom bundle* 165617 (includes stamps 165605 & coordinating dies 165610)
Stylish Shapes dies 159183
Plaster Painting 3D Embossing Folder 164656
The Right Words stamp set 165316
Petunia Pop cardstock 51/2" x 8 1/2", scored in the center at 4 1/4"
Petunia Pop two-tone cardstock for circles (light side) and flower center (dark side)
Old Olive two-tone cardstock for leaves.  I cut from both sides of the paper in light and dark
Bubble Bath cardstock scraps
Daffodil Delight cardstock scraps
Coastal Cabana cardstock scraps
Ink Pad: Petunia Pop (inside colors: Bubble Bath, Petunia Pop, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive)
2024-2026 In Color Flat Pearls 165266
Wink of Stella Glitter Brush 141897

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I truly appreciate you taking time from your busy day to spend it with me.

It’s Your Special day Cutest Cows fun fold

Happy Saturday and welcome back to the blog.  I'm so happy you are here.  I hope you will watch the video replay of how I put this card together over on my YouTube channel.  This week's focus is all about using those stamps you already have in your collection and maybe using them with something new.  You bought them, let's use them and make them new again by adding other items in your collection to make some really cute cards.  Today, we are using some stamps that were actually meant to be throw away pieces to make our "cow spots", along with an older Cutest Cows, newer Perfect Pairs (already on the last chance list) and some newly released dies.  I hope you like this card and how I mashed all these things together for a unique look.

Measurement & Supplies:
Cow spots from inside pieces in Hearts & Hugs 163659 (but see what you have on hand.)  I like to keep these excess pieces.  You can always put them in a case with other inside red rubber pieces from other stamps just for future use anytime you need them.

Cutest Cows stamps 162892 & Cutest Cows Builder Punch 162896
Perfect Pairs stamp set 164898 (Last Chance item)
Around It All dies 164725 (can be purchased in a bundle for a 10% savings) (aka Wonk-a-doodle circles 😂)
Elements of Text stamps 164774
Blending Brushes
Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems 161288
Azure Afternoon cardstock for card base 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 1 1/4" & 4 1/4"
Basic White cardstock, 4 x 5 1/5", 2 3/4" x 5 1/4" & additional for stamping and die cutting
Ink Pads: Azure Afternoon, Granny Apple Green, Memento Tuxedo Black
Stampin' Blends alcohol markers: Lt Basic Black, Smoky Slate, Lt Azure Afternoon, Dk Petal Pink, Natural Tones Collection Medium Light SU 700

Fun Fold Angle Cut Card with Detailed Dogwood & watercolor pencils

I have a new fun fold for you today, at least new to me.  I saw Ange McKay make a fun fold very similar to this yesterday, and had to try it.  Her card was a tri-fold card and I didn't want to use a whole sheet of cardstock, so I altered it for a bi-fold card that you can make two card bases from one sheet of cardstock. When I made my original sample, I colored my focal image with Stampin' Blends markers.  I was then inspired by Linda Dalke to try my hand at some water coloring with the watercolor pencils.  I've forgotten how much I love using them.   So for this card, I've colored my image with the watercolor pencils.  To see how I've put this card together, be sure to watch the video replay on YouTube.
