Well Written Lasting Lily Jar welcome

My project for you today features the Lasting Lily Sale-a-Bration free stamp set.  This set is available with a $100 spend through March 31, 2019.  It is one of Stampin’ Up!’s exclusive distinktive stamp sets.  It has amazing detail and will make beautiful cards for any occasion making it very versatile.  I started with a card base in Berry Burst to that I added a layer of Very Vanilla which was stamped with the Crackle Paint background stamp in various spots.  To achieve this look I inked up the background stamp in gray granite, then gently set my paper over the top and pressed with my fingers in various spots to ink sporadically across the cardstock.  We saw this technique during Onstage in Orlando last November.  I then stamped the large and small lilies in Daffodil Delight, Berry Burst and Flirty Flamingo, then fussy cut them out.  During the month of March 2019 you can order lily framelits which will do this work easier for you.  I also stamped the both leaves in Granny Apple Green.  The jar from Jar of Love is stamped on vellum cardstock with Momento black ink then cut with the Everyday Jar framelits.  The ribbon is Flirty Flamingo and part of the All My Love Ribbon combo which comes with the 1/8” Flirty Flamingo and Lovely Lipstick stitched edge ribbon.  Both ribbons are beautiful.  I die cut the welcome using the Well Written framelits which are a must have for card making.  This is a mega framelit set and can be purchased with the Well Said stamp set in a bundle for a savings of 10%.  To the top of the die cut I added a layer of Wink of Stella for some shimmer, then topped that with a layer of the fine tip glue pen.  Adding the fine tip glue gives a layer of shine without any tackiness making your die cut look like an expoxy element.

For the inside of the card I used the Make a Difference stamp set to stamp the to, Dear Friend and the flowers at the bottom.  The logo is from a retired set which was only available to demonstrators.

I made this card to welcome a new member to my team.  I hope you’ve enjoyed this project today and that it inspires you to do something creative today.  If you would like to order any of the products I’ve used today, you can do so at teresaharper.stampinup.net or click on the shopping cart in the upper right.  If you’re interested in joining my team, just go to my website and click on Join the Fun or contact me today.  Now is a great time to join as it’s Sale-a-Bration and you get $175 worth of product for $99 with free shipping or you can choose to pay $129, receive $175 in free product of your choosing with free shipping and get an Stampin’ Up! Congratulations with a Beautiful Bouquet jar of love

This card combines a couple stamp sets to make a beautiful bouquet of flowers.  The background for this card is stamped with the Burlap background stamp (143982).  It's stamped on very vanilla cardstock with crumb cake ink.  The flowers are from the Beautiful Bouquet (143666) photopolymer stamp set and cut with the coordinating framelits Bouquet Bunch (143659) which can be purchased in a bundle (145297) to save you 10%.  The flowers are stamped in Sweet Sugarplum, Fresh Fig, Daffodil Delight and Peekaboo Peach.  They are sitting in a jar which was stamped on cardstock vellum (101856) from the Jar of Love (141587) stamp set and cut with the coordinating Everyday Jars framelits (141490).  These sets combined are amazing and extremely versatile.  They can be used for any occasion year around.  The water in the jar is stamped in pool party ink and the stamp is also from the Jar of Love stamp set.  My sentiment is stamped on whisper white and cut with stitched  shapes framelits (145372) and set on a scalloped square which was cut using the Layering Squares framelits (141708).  I also used some daffodil delight ribbon (retired) and burlap ribbon (141487) to finish off the card.

Jar of Haunts Mummy treat holder

This little treat holder is so stinking cute!  He's made with the Jar of Haunts  (142247) stamp set and Everyday jar framelits (141490).  His hat is from Snow Place (139738) and cut with the matching framelits Snow Friends (139664). He's stamped on whisper white with archival basic black ink.  I used an aqua painter and a little smoky slate ink to "dirty" his bandages to give him a little character.  I stamped two mummies and two hats then created a box to hold the treats.   I added the hats and tied them together to hold the box closed with some Halloween Night baker's twine (142027).  The final detail was to add some googly eyes.  He holds two hershey nuggets.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Please leave me a comment, I'd love to hear from you.  I hope you are inspired to stamp something for someone today.

Fairly Celebration in the meadow

I created this card using In The Meadow (140754) , Jar of Love (141587) and Fairy Celebration (141554) stamps sets.  The fairy images and the jar are stamped in basic black archival ink on whisper white cardstock and watercolored with an aqua painter using very little water so as not to pill the paper.  Be sure to allow enough time for the archival black ink to thoroughly dry before water coloring.  I used the Everyday jar framelits to cut ou the jar and fussy cut the fairy image.  I was inspired by a card made by my upline Melissa Zessin, and then added in images from In the meadow to create this card.   I stamped the mountains, trees and butterflies in basic gray.

I hope you are inspired to create something whimsical today.  Please leave me a comment, I would love to hear from you.  Thanks for stopping by.

Halloween Mummy Jar of Haunts treat holder

When I saw the mummy image in the Jar of Haunts (142247) stamp set, I just knew I had to turn it into a treat holder.  It turned out so cute.  I first stamped the mummy image twice on whisper white cardstock and cut out with the coordinating die from the Everyday Jar (141490) framelits.  I then used a little smoky slate ink with an aqua painter to very lightly distress the "cloth" to give it a little dimension.  I then inked up two hats from the Snow Place (139738) stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating snow friends(139664) framelits.  I used a 3" x 3 1/2 " piece of whisper white cardstock to form the treat holder.  It is scored on the 3" side at 1" and 2" and on the 3 1/2" side at 1" and 2 1/2".  Then adhered to the base of the mummy on the longer sides.  It will hold two Hershey nuggets.  I then tied a piece of Halloween Night Baker's Twine in the black and pumpkin pie to the brim of the top hat to close the top.  Google eyes were added to finish off his look.  I hope you like him.  This will be my make-n-take at an upcoming workshop.

Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to stop by.  Please leave me a comment.  I'd love to hear your thoughts.  Have a great day and happy stamping.

m&ms Jar of Love shaker card.

Anyone who really knows me knows I am a HUGE m&m fan.  So when I saw where someone had used the Jar of Love stamp set to make an m&m shaker card, I had to make my own version.  I started with a patriotic card and moved on to a Christmas card.  I plan to make one for fall and for the spring as well.  This card features the Jar of Love stamp 141587 set and Everyday Jar (141490) framelits which can be purchased either separately or as a bundle (142342) to save 10%.  The background is stamped using the Touches of Texture stamp set (141934).  I used Real Red, Dapper Denim and Whisper White cardstock along with Real Red (126949) and Dapper Denim (141394) ink.  The jar was stamped on window sheet (114323) with Stazon black ink (101406) and cut using the Everyday Jar framelits.  The jar lit was embossed on whisper white cardstock with gold embossing powder as well as the ribbon and bow.  They are also cut with the matching framelits from the Everyday Jar framelits.  The banner was created with the Thoughtful Banners stamp (141614) set which has a matching punch called the Duet Banner punch (141483) and can also be purchased in a bundle (142330) to save 10%.  The shaker frame was made using the new foal adhesive strips (141825) which make shaker cards so much easier.  The m&ms were made utilizing a punch I had purchased from the m&m store in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This is the Christmas version of the card.  It uses Real Red, Emerald Envy (141415 cardstock and 141396 ink pad) and Whisper White.  The sentiment for this card is from the Oh, What Fun stamp set (140386).  I used markers directly on the stamp to create the multi colored look.
