Scary Cute Halloween Happiness Card

The project I have for you today features the Scary Cute bundle by Stampin' Up!  At first, I only purchased the stamp set Scary Cute because I didn't need the coordinating dies!  Oh, how wrong I was.  As you can guess, I ended up ordering the coordinating dies separately (which cost me more in the long run than purchasing the bundle initially would have.)  In any case, for my FB Live on Wednesday night, I made this card and a coordinating treat box.  You can watch how I put them together over on my YouTube channel HERE:

Measurements and Supplies:
Scary Cute bundle 159582 (Scary Cute stamp set & Scary Silhouettes dies)

Basic White for die cutting, approx. 1/4 sheet of cardstock
Basic Black for die cutting 2 3/4 x 3 1/4" approx.

Driving By Spiral Dye

Today's project is one of my favorites.  I love how this one turned out.  I wasn't going to get the Spiral Dye stamp set but am glad I did.  This project also uses the Sale-a-bration stamp set Driving By.  You can choose this stamp set for free with a qualifying purchase of $50.  You can shop my online store by clicking on the shopping cart in the upper right.  You can watch how I put this card together by watching my YouTube channel here: https://youtu.be/HXouss4uzYw

I started this card by stamping out my vintage van in Momento Tuxedo black ink on Basic White cardstock and also on a piece of Pattern Party Designer Series Paper.  I then colored the van with my Stampin' Blends in Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, Grey Granite and Basic Black.  I cut out the lower and upper portions of the van from the DSP and then glued them into place onto of my colored van.  This technique is known as paper piecing.  I then fussy cut out the van and set it aside.  The sentiment was stamped on Basic White using Bermuda Bay ink and die cut with a die from the newly released Beautiful Shapes dies.  The "road" was stamped using a stamp from Gumball Greetings, inked in Basic Gray on Basic White cardstock, then trimmed on both sides to approximately 1/2".  The Spiral Dye stamped was stamped on a quarter sheet of Basic White cardstock using Versamark clear ink, then embossed using white embossing powder.  I then used Bermuda Bay, Real Red and Pumpkin Pie inks with the blending brushes to brush on the color.  The finishing touch for this card features the Pebbles Enamel Shapes released in the Jan-June 2022 mini catalog.  I love the added touch these bring to the card.

This is the inside view of the card, the sentiment comes from Free as a Bird.

Measurements:

Card Base in Pool Party cardstock cut to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"
Base Layer 4 x 5 1/4" in Bermuda Bay
Focal image layer 3 7/8 x 5 1/8" in Basic White (I started with a quarter sheet of cardstock, stamped and colored, then cut down to this size)
Inside layer 3 5/8x 4 7/8" Basic White
Stamp sets used: Spiral Dye, Driving By and Free as a Bird
Pattern Party DSP (free using Stampin' Rewards of $18, received with an order or workshop of at least $180)
Stampin' Blends in Bermuda Bay, Grey Granite, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party and Basic Black

Welcoming Woods Snowbuddy Better

Happy Wednesday everyone!  Hope your week is going well.  Today I have a card featuring Snowbuddy Better and Welcoming Woods by Stampin’ Up!  I hope you love this card as much as I do.  I’m a sucker a stamp set with snowflakes and/or snowmen, so it’s no surprise this stamp set made it into my collection.  When I purchased the Welcoming Woods stamp set, I had this idea in my head.

I first stamped and colored the snowmen, then masked the snowmen and stamped the birch trees from Welcoming Woods over the top.  Leaving the mask in place, I then used blending brushes and added ink in Bumblebee, Polished Pink, Fresh Freesia and Misty Moonlight to get the colored sky.  After the ink was fully dry, I stamped the snowflakes in Versamark ink, then added white embossing powder and set with my heat tool.  I also stamped my sentiment on a scrap of Misty Moonlight cardstock in Versamark, added white embossing powder and heat set.  I then cut it out with one of the smaller frames from Ornate Frames dies.

Supplies used:
Mint Macaron card base 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4”
Misty Moonlight cardstock layer 4 x 5 1/4” and scrap for sentiment
Focal layer Basic White 3 3/4 x 5”
Flowers for Every Season ribbon pack
White embossing powder from the Basics package of three
Versamark ink pad
Basic Grey ink pad
Stampin’Blends in Mint Macaron, Polished Pink, Mossy Meadow, Misty Moonlight Flirty Flamingo, light Grey Granite and light Balmy Blue.
Ink pads in Polished Pink, Basic Grey, Bumblebee, Fresh Freesia and Misty Moonlight
Blending Brushes
Ornate Frames to cut out the sentiment.

If you would like to see how I made this card, you can watch my Facebook live replay at KnT Designs by Teresa over on Facebook or on YouTube at Teresa Harper kntdesignsbyTeresa.  Thank you for stopping by today.  If you would like to purchase any Stampin’ Up! supplies, click on the shopping cart in the upper right corner.  I would love to earn your business if you don’t already have a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.

Until next time, happy stamping!
