Wonderful World greeting cards

The cards for today were made to go in the card gift box I showed on my blog on Thursday.  If you missed those measurements, be sure to go back and look.  You will also find a video over on my YouTube channel on how to put the cards and box together HERE:  All cards use the same dimensions, same stamp set and Designer Series Paper, and coordinate perfectly with the card gift box from Thursday.  I've made two of each card to put in the gift box.  I've used various sentiments from Inspired Thoughts by Stampin' Up!  It's one of my go to stamp sets for sentiments as it has a variety for any occasion and also has sentiments for the inside of your card as well.  As you can tell, I made all the cards using the same materials and layout, just changing up the colors and DSP from the packet.

Elephant Parade mini card and pocket envelope envelope

It's Sale a-bration time!  July 1-August 31, 2022, is the second half of this year's free earning period.  For every $50 increment you spend, you can choose a free item from the Sale a-bration brochure.  The increments are accumulative, so the more you spend, the more you earn!  Be sure to check out the details by clicking on the shopping cart to the right.  The items in the brochure are usually exclusive to this promotion.

The card I'm showing you today, is a card I was inspired to make based on a card I saw Wendy Cranford make.  I made a card from her sketch and after completing it, I decided to take that card even further and make an A2 standard card with the mini card on the front and add a pocket envelope inside of that for a gift card or money.  I hope you like how I've put this together.  It would make a great card for any and all occasions in which you might want to add a little gift.  You can watch how I put this card together, and see my original card in my FB Live replay over on my YouTube channel here:

Daffodil Daydream Medley of Cards

During my FB Live Tuesday, I made several cards and showed how to use the Daffodil Daydream bundle of products by Stampin' Up! along with the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper (DSP) which you can earn for free with a qualifying purchase through the end of February 2022.  You can watch the live replay on my YouTube page here: https://youtu.be/5SRsVDEiEAY

This is one of the cards we made.  It is a simple card with a big impact, I think.
Measurements: A2 card base in Daffodil Delight, Daffodil Afternoon DSP 4 x 5 1/4", Flirty Flamingo focal layer 3 1/8 x 4 1/8" and Shimmery White cardstock for the focal image 3 x 4".  Stampin' Blends markers for coloring in Daffodil Delight and Evening Evergreen.  White baker's twine colored with the dark Flirty Flamingo blend.
Inside layer is Basic White cardstock cut at 3 5/8 x 4 7/8".  This is the layer I use for the inside of my cards most often as I can get five of them from one sheet of cardstock.  The sentiment comes from A Wish for Everything.  It can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog and has coordinating dies called Word Wishes dies which cover most holidays.  Be sure to check those out!

Supplies and measurements:  A2 card base in Mint Macaron, Daffodil Afternoon DSP 4 x 5 1/4", Encircled in Beauty die cut in Flirty Flamingo, largest Layering Circle die in Basic White using a partial die cut technique. (see video for how to)  Stampin' Blends in Mossy Meadow, Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight.  Wink of Stella pen on flower centers.  Bumble Trinkets and Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon.  The thanks is cut from Basic black using the Well Written dies (retired), but you could use the Amazing Thanks dies which are current and in my online store.  I cut three out and layered them on top of each other using our adhesive sheets on the back of the black cardstock prior to die cutting.

For my final card today, I started with an A2 card base in Mint Macaron, then added a Daffodil Afternoon base layer 4 x 5 1/4".   Using the Stitched Rectangles dies, I cut the rectangle which is approximately 2 1/4 x 3 1/2" in Basic White.  Sentiments are from Special Moments and stamped in Momento Tuxedo black ink.  I cut the largest oval from the Beautiful Shapes dies in Pale Papaya and layered on the rectangle.  The darling kangaroo is from Count on Me.  I colored her using the newly released Natural Tones Collection of Stampin' Blends Markers in SU 400 and SU 1000.  The flower she's holding is colored with Pale Papaya and Mossy Meadow.
For the inside of the card I used the stitched rectangle die which is closest to 3 5/8 x 4
7/8".  I stamped the bear from Count on Me and colored it with SU 300.  I just love the new options available in the Natural Tones collection of markers!  The heart is colored with Flirty Flamingo and her clothes were paper pieced using the Daffodil Afternoon DSP.  I show how I did this in the video.

Well, that's all for me today.  Thanks for stopping by!  To place an order, click on the shopping cart in the upper right corner.  I'd love to earn your business!  Please leave a comment, I'd love to hear from you.

Until next time; be happy, stay healthy and happy stamping!

Calming Camillia medley of cards

Welcome and thank you for stopping by my blog.  Today I have some projects I've made with the Calming Camillia stamp set by Stampin' Up!  You can't purchase this set; however, you can earn it for free during Sale-a-Bration which runs through February, 2022.  With a qualifying purchase of $300 and/OR with a $300 workshop (collective orders with your friends) you will receive this stamp set.  But hurry, the end of the month is coming quickly.  I hope you enjoy my projects today.  If you would to see the replay of how I made these cards, you can watch it on my YouTube channel here: https://youtu.be/HXouss4uzYw

This first card uses So Saffron for the card base and the focal image layer.  The pattern paper or DSP is from the Simply Marbleous DSP pack which is a Sale-a-bration free choice with a $50 purchase.  I stamped the image from Calming Camillia in Highland heather and the sentiment in Momento Tuxedo black ink.  The sentiment is stamped on a 1/2" piece of the same DSP using the reverse side of the pattern paper.  The focal image was stamped and then die cut using the large rectangle found in Nature's Thoughts dies #153586.  I used the same die on all three projects.   These dies can be found in my online store and in the 2021-2022 annual catalog by Stampin' Up!  I colored the flower stamen in Daffodil Delight using Stampin' Blends markers.

My second card features a card base, base layer and stamped flower image all in Flirty Flamingo.  Again, the pattern paper is from the same Simply Marbleous 6 x 6 paper pack.  I stamped the sentiment of this image in Basic Gray, again on the reverse side of the DSP.

For my third project, I wanted to showcase a different way of of showcasing the flowers.  These flowers were stamped in Basic Gray, then colored with the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers in Flirty Flamingo and Old Olive.  I love the results!  It takes a bit more work than the previous two, but is well worth the effort.  Of course, you could complete this project in a multitude of colors and have beautiful results without a lot of work.  The sentiment on this card came from the Simply Succulents stamp set stamped in Basic Gray, but you could use any sentiment to make this a card for any occasion.  I love the versatility of this stamp set.  I finished all three projects off using the Brushed Brass Butterfly embellishments.  I think they are the perfect finishing touch.

Measurements:
Card base 5 1/2 x 8 1/2", scored in the middle at 4 1/4"
Simply Marbleous DSP layer 4x 5 1/4"
Smaller focal image layer 3 x 4 1/2"
Sentiment layer 1/2" by approximately 2 7/8"

Until next time; be happy, stay healthy and happy stamping!
