Gingerbread man cookie 3"x4" reinforced clamshell box

I have another treat box for you today using the Gingerbread Man bundle by Stampin' Up!  As soon as I saw this set, I knew I wanted to create a box using the Little Debbie Christmas gingerbread cookies.  I thought I might have already designed a box to fit, but that was not the case.  So, I set out to design a box that would fit the large size of the gingerbread man, accommodate the cookie, and also fit a gift card.  This box is the result of that endeavor.  You will find a video tutorial where I walk you through how to make it step-by-step over on my YouTube channel by clicking this link.

Real Red two-tone cardstock (or regular) 6" x 8"
score on 6" side at 1/2" & 1" each end
    score on 8" side at 1/2", 1", 4", 4 1/2", 7 1/2"

I hope you will give this box a try.  Of course, you can decorate for any occasion and add a gift card and perhaps some candy 1/2" thick or less like a fun size Hershey bar or Andes mints.  All of your Stampin' Up! supplies can be purchased in my online store by clicking on the shopping cart. Thanks in advance.

Until next time; be happy, good health to you and happy stamping!

Shepherd's Care Peace on Earth sentiment card with a twist

Hello everyone.  This week I am not featuring any specific product.  I've been in a bit of a creative slump, so I'm just going where my creativity takes me with whatever products I happen to be inspired by.  Today's card features Shepherd's Care from the SD 2024 mini catalog by Stampin' Up!

For my card, I wanted the Shepherd's stamp to be the star of the show.  I also wanted to make a card that I could quickly and easily duplicate.  Of course, the quick and simple never seems to be quite within my grasp....I just can't stop and so the sentiment label came about here.  I didn't want to alter to the label die cut to fit my sentiment and when I put it on the card, the idea came to me to stamp a partial image to the left of the sentiment so it would look as if it's part of the scene.  I hope you like this technique as I'll probably be using it more often.

To see how I made this card and the special way I did the sentiment label to blend in with the scene, be sure to watch the video replay over on my YouTube channel.

Supplies and Measurements:
Shepherd's Care stamp set 164300
Changing Leaves dies 164138 (for sentiment label)
Misty Moonlight card stock, 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored in center at 4 1/4" for card base.
Sentimental Christmas 12 x 12 DSP 164209 ($3 of every purchase is donated to a literacy charity for         kids) 4" x 5 1/4"
Night of Navy cardstock, 3 3/8" x 4 5/8"
Basic White cardstock 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" for focal image, scrap for sentiment label and 3 5/8" x 4 7/8" for     inside layer.
Ink Pads: Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight, Crumb Cake and VersaMark watermark
Iridescent Faceted Gems 163368
Blending Brush
Basics WOW! embossing powders 165679 (clear)
heat tool
stamp positioner tool

I hope you like this card and that you will give it a try.  The layout is pretty basic and I think that helps the image to pop!

Until next time; be happy, stay healthy and happy stamping!

Owl be thinking of you with Christmas Friends

Happy Sunday everyone!  I hope you are enjoying your day.  For my card today, I’ve used a technique new to me.  Sara Douglas, Stampin’ Up!®️ CEO showed this technique during her live this past week.  She said it was her concept artists who told her about it.  Did you know you can heat emboss on the Stampin’ Up!®️ glimmer paper?  Well, once I saw it I just had to see how it would work out.  I used the Merriest Trees stamp set to emboss “snow” on my Garden Green glimmer paper, then cut it out with the coordinating die from the Merriest Trees dies.  Wow!  It is so beautiful when done that way.  If you would like to see how I put this card together, be sure to watch the video replay over on my YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope you learned some fun techniques and really enjoyed my card.  I was very pleased with how it turned out.  I will be doing more embossing on glimmer paper AND adding intricate die cuts over the top of the white glimmer paper for a stained glass look with the gold or silver.

Until next time; be happy, stay healthy and happy stamping!

Warm winter wishes with Snowbody Better

Here it is Saturday already!  I have another project for you today I made during my weekly Tuesday night live over on Facebook.  I would love it if you followed me there.  I usually make two projects every Tuesday evening live at 7:45 pm PDT.  You can always watch the replay over on my YouTube page at Teresa Harper kntdesignsbyTeresa.

I started this project by stamping and coloring the snowman image in Momento Tuxedo black ink as I colored with Stampin’ Blends markers which are alcohol based.  I then fussy cut out the image with my paper snips.  I die cut a piece of basic white cardstock using the second largest Scalloped Contour die.  To this I stamped the snowflake image from Welcoming Woods stamp set in Versamark ink randomly on the top 2/3 of the die cut, added white embossing powder and heat set the powder.  Next, I used a blending brush and Misty Moonlight ink to add a little color to the “sky”.  I then began building my card layers.  To the Night of Navy cardbase, I added a piece of Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper, then added my scalloped die cut.  The snowmen were then added to the scalloped die cut using Stampin’ Dimensionals to give added depth.  The sentiment piece is stamped in Night of Navy ink on Misty Moonlight cardstock, then clear embossing powder was immediately added and heat set.  It must be done very fast as our classic ink dries quickly so you need to have all your supplies open and ready to go.). The sentiment was then cut out with a die from Beautiful Trees dies.  Finally, I added some white gems from Elegent Gems.

Supplies used:
Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper 4 x 5 1/4”
Night of Navy cardstock 5 1/2 x 8 1/2”
Basic White Cardstock, half sheet for stamping and die cutting
Misty Moonlight cardstock scrap for sentiment
Stampin’ Blends in Misty Moonlight light, Balmy Blue light, Flirty Flamingo, Fresh Freesia, Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent
Blending Brush
ink pads in Momento Tuxedo black, Versamark clear and Night of Navy
White and clear embossing powders
Scalloped Contour Dies
Snowbody Better stamp set
Welcoming Woods stamp set

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.  Please leave me a comment to let me know your thoughts.  If you would like to purchase any of the products I’ve used, please click on the shopping cart in the upper right corner.  It will take you directly to my online store where you can shop 24/7.  I would really appreciate your business.

Until next time, happy stamping!
