Owl be thinking of you with Christmas Friends

Happy Sunday everyone!  I hope you are enjoying your day.  For my card today, I’ve used a technique new to me.  Sara Douglas, Stampin’ Up!®️ CEO showed this technique during her live this past week.  She said it was her concept artists who told her about it.  Did you know you can heat emboss on the Stampin’ Up!®️ glimmer paper?  Well, once I saw it I just had to see how it would work out.  I used the Merriest Trees stamp set to emboss “snow” on my Garden Green glimmer paper, then cut it out with the coordinating die from the Merriest Trees dies.  Wow!  It is so beautiful when done that way.  If you would like to see how I put this card together, be sure to watch the video replay over on my YouTube channel.

Measurements and Supplies:
Christmas Friends bundle 164088* (includes stamps 164279 & coordinating dies 164087)
Merriest Trees stamp set 162043 & coordinating dies 162047 (not offered as a bundle)164325
Garden Meadow dies 162740 for archway **
Autumn Leaves dies 162815 (for sentiment label only)
Greetings of the Season stamps (inside sentiment only)
Country Woods DSP 4" x 5 1/4" 163393
Snowy Scenes DSP just shy of 4" x 5 1/4" 164333
Festive Glimmer Paper 164106 (Garden Green & Cherry Cobbler scraps)
Berry Burst, Old Olive & White Glimmer paper 163769 (white very small scrap)
Brushed Silver & Gold Foil 12 x 12 164861 (small scrap of gold)
Ink Pads: Real Red, VersaMark & Memento Tuxedo Black
Stampin' Blends alcohol markers: Real Red, Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake, Lt Smoky Slate, Lt Petal Pink, Lt Wild Wheat
Real Red & White Baker's Twine 164051
White Loose Snowflakes 164128
Adhesive Sheets (very helpful) 152334
WOW! Embossing Powder (Basics Collection 165679) Opaque Bright White
Heat Tool 129053

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope you learned some fun techniques and really enjoyed my card.  I was very pleased with how it turned out.  I will be doing more embossing on glimmer paper AND adding intricate die cuts over the top of the white glimmer paper for a stained glass look with the gold or silver.

Until next time; be happy, stay healthy and happy stamping!

'Tis the Season for Merriest Trees

Happy Saturday!  Today I'm attending a Stampin' Up! virtual event called Onstage Online.  I'm seeing new product, product demonstrations and participating in some business events.  It's always so much fun to learn new things and to see new products in action.  This event is for demonstrators only, and you can attend the next event which will be a 3-day live event in Houston, Texas, in March 2024, when you join my team.  I'm using the Merriest Trees bundle of products for my card today.  I absolutely love this set and it's very versatile.  I especially love how you can decorate the trees (or not), have so many different sizes of trees and use it for just about any occasion.  It also features A Walk in the Forest DSP, which is Stampin' Up!'s philanthropic product for this season.  $3 of each and every package of this paper sold, will be donated to various nonprofit organizations bringing cheer to those in need.  You get beautiful paper and the joy of knowing your dollars are being used to help others!  It's a win-win in my opinion.  To see how I've put this card together, be sure to check out my YouTube channel here to watch the video replay.
