Humble Home Merry Christmas card

For my card today, I’ve combined a couple of bundles to make this Christmas card.  I could have used a sentiment from Humble Home, but it just didn’t fit my vision, so I pulled in the Peaceful Seasons bundle.  It is a must have sentiment and coordinating die bundle for the holidays in my opinion.  to see how I've put this card together, watch the video replay over on my YouTube channel.

Humble Home bundle 164094* (includes stamps 164286 and coordinating punch 164093)

Humble Home Gingerbread House Light String

Happy day Thanksgiving Eve to everyone here in the US.  I hope you have a wonderful holiday season filled with love, laughter, family and friends.

For my project today, I've made a holiday light string using fairy lights and the Humble Home bundle.  This is not my original idea, I've recreated it from a string I saw by Anna Wheaton.  What an awesome idea it is, I just had to recreate it for you.  Of course, I've done mine a little different.  Be sure to watch the video replay to see how I've put it together.  You will find it on my YouTube channel where I share some tips and tricks to make this little gem more easily.

Supplies and Measurements:
Humble Home bundle 164094* (includes stamps 164286 and coordinating punch 164093)
Pecan Pie cardstock, (2) 8 1/2" x 11" sheets, cut each sheet into 2 1/8" x 11" strips
Basic White cardstock for stamping 20 wreaths.
Pecan Pie ink pad, VersaMark Watermark ink pad
Basics WOW! embossing powder pack (Opaque Bright White)
Embossing Additions Tool Kit 159971
Wink of Stella Glitter Brush 141897
Real Red & White adhesive-backed Peppermints 164050
Vellum cardstock
1 inch circle punch
Adhesives: mini glue dots, Stampin' Dimensionals
fairy string light set with 20 lights (non Stampin' Up!)

I hope you like this project and will give it a try.  I've had a lot of fun making them and am very thankful Anne Wheaton shared it with her fellow demonstrators so I could share it with you.

Until next time; be happy, stay healthy and happy stamping!

Ice skating birthday card with Dear Santa

For my final project this week, I've used Dear Santa and Forever Forest (along with some other things) to make a cute little birthday card for the young at heart.  My grandson's 18th birthday is coming up and this little guy reminds me so much of him the first time we took him ice skating in Disneyland at Olaf's Skating Rink.  Such great memories!  I've used a new technique with the Pearlized Enamel Effects to make the snow on my mountain tops.  To see how I've put this card together, be sure to watch the replay over on my YouTube channel.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing the new technique of adding texture for snow with the pearlized enamel effects.  I know I was thrilled with how it turned out.  It's an easy way to add texture and shine to the mountain tops.  To order your Stampin' Up! supplies, click on the shopping cart in the upper right.  It allows me to put out these tutorials for all of you.  Thanks in advance for your support.

Until next time; be happy, stay healthy and happy stamping!
